benzion72: Everybody is shouting get a job get a job as if going to school is purposely to get a job. That is our problem our brain has being colonized to only go to school and get a job. A Phd older should be able to come back home and apply what is in is brain and build something up for himself and masses of nigeria.
Respect for that.

dabrake: nah. can't watch my wife go through that agony
The fact that you cant stand her going through that pain doesn't mean the pain isn' there. I must say this, i cried when i first experienced it, but it thought me how to love and respect women, but the second time was just a something i could deal with.

Billyonaire: This is the problem with an average 'educated' man. You are looking for money, and a good life, and you are already afraid of the unknown. Who will hire, when everyone is searching for someone to hire him ? If your friend has the 'hire me' mindset, let him continue to stay on gear one in UK for ever, but if he is ready to come an take the risks in businesses and investments here, I can assure you, he will have set backs, but in the next 3 years, he will earn 10 times what he is earning annually in 6 months. Nigeria is virgin, and many of us are cashing in. 15k pounds is what an average entrepreneur makes in a month or less. Believe me.

Even with that low income in the UK, his pension benefits is as good as secured when he retires, I wonder where he will start from when he relocates back to Nigeria. He should try and do some savings before considering going back.

Nairaland General › Re: MODERATORS: Can You Give Us A Section For Farming/agric Issues by Freiburger(mod): 7:21am On Oct 10, 2012
Seun: Agriculture is basically all about food production, therefore I think Agriculture threads will be right at home in the food section.
I still dont think so, you cant discuss breeding of livestocks and its environmental impacts at the food section. I guess CrazyMan said it all. Agric/environmental section will be a perfect ideal.
