He is simply experiencing the seven stages of grief and he is still at the first one which is denial. After that same three years (maybe even less), he would have gotten to the last stage which is acceptance of reality, then he would be ready to move on.

His approach to the session of Biafra is based on ruthless compulsion through fear and violence as opposed winning the heart of his people and even non-Igbos naturally to his course. Just look at the name he calls himself and has allowed people to call him - Supreme Leader. That says it all!

I don't like Reno quite alright but the part in bold is perfectly true. Examples abound everywhere on Nairaland. Anybody with an opinion that doesn't go down well with Igbos is immediately tagged Afonja. So many South south people have tried to voice out their opinion on Biafra and other topical issues but they get labelled Afonja. That Nnamdi Kanu even planned to conscript people as far as Benue state into his Biafra without consulting them says a lot about his person.

Truth be told, Biafra as being envisaged by Kanu will just be a smaller version of Nigeria. It will descend into a civil war like south Sudan in less than two years with folks like Kanu in charge. Personally, I wont want to be a minority in such a country.

I started hearing about him as far back as 2014 during the GEJ administration. And I am sure he had been on that path, cursing, insulting and spewing vile about any and everyone against Biafra, long before that. I understand the struggle for Biafra but Nnamdi Kanu is not the right person to lead Igbos to the promised land and bring prosperity to them. Nnamdi Kanu is nothing but a dictator in the making.

The Nigerian army cannot fight wars on three fronts. Only Boko Haram they haven’t been able to defeat. If Biafra and Oduduwa take up arms, which is only a matter of time, I am not sure the Nigerian army has the human and material resources for that. These people being killed are gradually being seen as martyrs in the eyes of their people. Force is not always the answer to everything. Buhari still doesn’t know that despite his age and so called experience.

When it starts I hope you don’t come here crying, weeping and wailing, asking for reconciliation and dialogue. This is the time for that, if the opportunity is missed, it can never be recovered.

Section 2(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as Amended states that Nigeria is one indivisible and indissoluble sovereign state. This clearly means that Nigeria is a sovereign state that cannot be split or divided into parts neither can any part of or group of people in Nigeria seced from Nigeria.

I have always said it, the only way Nigeria would be divided is through war. Those hoping to get out of this contraption peacefully are only deceiving themselves. Because those benefiting from the current state of things would continue to defend it, legally and illegally. Only blood shed would bring this made in Britain union to an end.
