Bureaucracy is another impediment, when one institution becomés too big for itself, they tend to politicize everything. Thé Catholic Church became too big for itself, and killed brilliant minds, cynics etc, look at Islam today, progress can never happen in the Islamic world

I have said it and would continue to say it, Africa would never develop beyond what it is today so long Africans on the continent continue to troop to mosques and churches on Fridays and Sundays respectively instead of focusing and investing time and money into science and tech.
