THE EVIL OF THESE DAYS GYM:
1, As a Christian woman, you wear ungodly tight and revealing clothing in the name of gym, don’t you know Satan is exchanging your heavenly passport?

2, As a Christian man or woman, the devil is playing worldly music to you at gym and you are dancing it to it in the name of bodily exercise, are you not turning yourself to one of the foolish virgins in this end time? So what is the difference between those who dance to worldly songs at party and you at gym center? Only the wise will take extra care while the foolish see nothing wrong.

3, As a Christian Brother or sister, you become unnecessarily familiar with ungodly people in the name of extra-activities which God does not send you. No wonder gym exercise is one of the causes of broken marriage in USA. Unguided activities which involve carelessly revealing your body, exposing your body, wearing tight or getting too close to opposite sex which turns to ungodly familiarities at gym center.

DID YOU PRAY?
Did you pray before you enrolled at gym center? This will sound too spiritual to many people, “Why do you have to pray before going to gym, is that not taking things too spiritual?” But you need to know that God will not back you up where He doesn’t lead you to.

Last year, I was concerned about my wife and I having time for exercise with my busy activities and all that and I prayed about it, then God spoke to me that I should get table tennis at the back of our apartment, that that would serve as means of exercise for me and my wife. I did just that, and you know what? The Table tennis is not only serving for body exercise alone, but a means of having fun, means of gaining sport skill and even entertaining visitors who care for playing Table tennis with me (only that some visitors have been beating me in the game lol). And you can imagine how my children will freely gain table tennis skill at home free of charge. In addition, the table also serves as means of spreading and drying stuffs in the sun lol.

So God cares about everything, including our body exercise if we care to take everything to Him in prayer. He must lead you the right godly way to do the right thing.

Do not fall to the trap of Satan in the name of gym activities, that the worldly cloths you refuse to wear and the ungodly music you refuse to listen to in your house, the devil will then force them on you at gym center, God forbids! Be wise, be watchful in all things and never enroll yourself in the list of foolish virgins in this end time!

And you as a person, what name should I call you? You know all the evils, immoralities, politics and games of powers and positions that are going on in your prosperity modern church among the pastors, workers and members that sometimes you wonder if the church even deserve to be called a church of God or if the pastors deserve to be called men of God. You know all those scandalous things you are hearing, seeing and covering about your pastors, you know you can hardly trust them. But you will still come on Facebook and defend what is not defendable, what you know is truth and condemn those who speak this truth to deliver the captives from the deception these modern preachers.

For how long will you continue to deceive yourself and to defend this faulty gospel of modern church and these misleading preachers, until you get to hell fire?

You say we should just be praying for them and cover up their evil deeds as they continue to deceive even the Elects? But let me ask you, has any corrupt situation ever changed even in the Bible without first challenging it? It means you could have condemned the prophets of old for challenging God's anointed kings in the Old Testament.

You cannot change a thing without challenging it. We must pray for the church and the leaders, and at the same time God will raise some people, anoint, appoint and empower them to challenge the evil deeds and evil doers, even if these false or fallen preachers refuse to repent, it will reduce the numbers of people they are deceiving and leading to hell.

In this 5 years of Revelation of Truth Evangelical Ministries, RTEM, many souls have be delivered from deception of false preachers and won to Christ and many ministers and ministries have been helped with sound doctrines of the Bible.

We have the mandate of correction of believers who are missing it, confrontation of false and fallen ministers we are misleading people, and comfort of believers who are making it right.

This is a calling, an heavenly course and it must continue to the end till we see Christ and receive crowns of glory. Amen!

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER RAPTURE: THE GREAT TRIBULATION

Do you realize we are in the very end time and this world will soon come to an end? As the Biblical prophesies of the end time are fulfilling right in our eyes and the love of many are becoming cold by the cares and deceptions of the world; the next event we are waiting for is the Rapture, which is the catching away of the saints. As Jesus Christ said, “I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. 35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. 36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” Luke 17:34, 35. This event may happen any moment from now.

The big questions are: What happens after the Rapture? What will happen to the unbelievers and careless Christians who miss the Rapture? The Great Tribulation! While the raptured saints will be celebrating the Marriage of the Lord’s Supper with Jesus Christ, and receive rewards over there, the Left-behinds will be suffering Great Tribulation here on earth with Satan. It will be a terrific period of pain and panic that has never existed before. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. “Matthew 24:20-22

The Great Tribulation will start by the reign of Anti-Christ, a satanic powered personality who will rule the whole world with his evil mark of the beast, 666. “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16, 17. Those who refuse the mark will be tormented to death, it will be a horrible period which will be hard to resist, but those who make their stands for Jesus and refuse the mark will make it to heaven after their death. Rev. 7:9, 14. The people that receive the mark will automatically become the enemies of God, they will be given temporal freedom to buy and sell but they are doomed forever.

The better questions to ask are: when will you surrender your life to Jesus? When will you totally rededicate your life to Jesus and settle EVERYTHING with Him? When will you make your way right with God and stand for righteousness in the midst of this unrighteous generation? The answer should be NOW, or never! If you have not genuinely accepted Jesus into your life by becoming a new creature and living above sin, if you are a worldly, careless or modern Christian, if you are afraid or not certain about your eternity, this moment is a greatest time for you to settle everything with Jesus NOW! You are the luckiest person if you are reading this message before the rapture; it means you are still alive; the deaths have no such opportunity, because after death is the judgment. You can’t wait for the Great tribulation, you may die before then, you may not survive it, now is the best and certain time to settle your eternity with God.

You are a Christian? But are you living in line with God's word or in line with the words of modern pastors? Have you settled all and made everything clear before God or there are still some no-go-areas in your life? Any unconfessed sin or unsettled restitution? Any worldliness or compromise? Those Christians who leave some aspects of their live behind unsettled will be left behind on the rapture day.

Your greatest privilege of being alive today is not to make more money but to make your way right with God for genuine salvation of your soul. So what are you waiting for? Repent, rededicate your life to Jesus, restore, recommit, and renew your relationship with the Savior, and be sure of your life after here before it is too late!

Blow the trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm in My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble;
For the day of the LORD is coming,
For it is at hand:
2 A day of darkness and gloominess,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,

DON’T BE DISCOURAGED PLEASE!
"...lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls." Hebrews 12:3

A man was shown vision about the weapons of Satan, and he saw a particular weapon that has been over-used; he asked what was special about the weapon and also its name, and he was told the weapon was discouragement, that when other weapons against Christians fail, discouragement hardly fails.

If you have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ and determined to serve Him forever and you are getting involved in the work of God to turn others to righteousness in Jesus, Satan will try to discourage you in order to destroy you. Discouragement is a destructive weapon of Satan that deflates spiritual strength, prayer life, faith and hope in God and zeal for God's work, and makes a Christian becomes spiritually dry. When life gets tough and situations turn worst; as you pray, search your life and put faith in action, yet things do not get better. Then you begin to ask why? Why will God allow this to happen to you? Why?

Disturbed But Not Discouraged
Since Christian life is a narrow way, and even life generally is ups and downs, as a child of God, you can be disturbed but you should not allow discouragement. When you are disturbed by anything, take it to God in prayer and simply trust Him; it's hard but that is the only means to be happy in Jesus; and not by sitting in the dangerous valley of discouragement. Believers in the Bible were disturbed: Moses, Elijah, Jeremiah and others. They were disturbed at one point or the other, but instead of being discouraged, they turned to God with their disturbing hearts. At a point, John the Baptist was seriously disturbed, you know what he did? He didn't depart from Jesus but he turned to Jesus with his disturbing mind. Jesus was disturbed at a point on His way to the Cross but He poured His disturbing mind to God, and He is now in heaven praying for us, because He has been through such difficult situations we are going through now.

When you are disturbed, Satan will want you to be discouraged, to stop praying so you can be his prey; to stop reading the Word of God so you can be weak; he will want you to be weary of working for God so that you can wither away. Satan will want to dissuade you from trusting God and living a righteous life so that he can destroy your destiny. When you find it hard to pray, to read Bible, or to do God's work because of situation around, then discouragement is setting in, you should beware.
Discouragement is a shadow of spiritual destruction; it leads to weakness, weariness and compromising into sin, since "God doesn't care" so to say, but that is satanic deception.

We should not allow present situations to discourage us from serving and trusting God, no matter how hard, or who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or unclothedness, or peril, or sword? We should discuss our disturbing situations with God and trust Him that He is working everything for our good at the end; we should not be discouraged into Satan's hands. As I was typing this article, I was passing through one of the toughest time in my life, and as God has encouraged me to move on, I find it necessary to encourage you also, in case you find yourself in unpleasant circumstances now or later, don't be discouraged, don't be distracted, don't doubt, don't compromise your faith and righteous living; don't turn from serving God, because it will soon turn to testimony.

Beloved, heaven is far and it will take the few who take it by force without fainting, no matter what, to make it at last. Will you be among the victorious few or among the falling away?

James 5:10, 11"My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful."

BIBLE STUDY: FULFILLING ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS
Matthew 3:15, "But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him."

To fulfill all righteousness is not just to do something for the sake of doing it for nothing sake. To fulfill all righteousness is to follow the scriptures accordingly, even when it seems not necessary or when it looks difficult. Fulfilling all righteousness is following scriptures to the last letter as written in the Bible for the fulfillment of the righteous promises of the scriptures to come to pass.

We must follow the scripture to the end before we can see the end-result of the scripture. It's when we fulfill ALL scriptural righteousness that the scriptural promises will come to pass in our lives and ministries. When we obey or fulfill half righteousness of the scriptures, when we interpret the scripture to suite our personal conveniences, or when we obey some parts of the scriptures and see the other parts as unnecessary, we cannot have the fullness and fulfillment of the righteous promises of God.

Jesus Christ went to John the Baptist for water baptism, but John saw it as quite unnecessary for Jesus Christ to be baptized by him, in fact he said he ought to come to Jesus for baptism. But then Jesus Christ told him it was necessary to fulfill all righteousness. And after Jesus was baptized by John, as He came up from the water, behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:16, 17.

Three things happened after Jesus fulfilled all righteousness:

(1) HEAVENS OPENED. Heavens, not just a single heaven, all heavens were opened on Jesus. Until we fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures, we can not experience the opened heavens of God's blessings in our lives and ministries. What we are experiencing now is minor compared to when "heavens" opens. The fullness of all blessings of heavens hinges on our fulfilling all righteousness. When we desire opened heaven of God's outpouring Spirit, anointing, blessings and miracles in our lives, families, and ministries, we must first fulfill all righteousness. Half-done obedience or half-way obedience cannot reach heaven to open.

(2) SPIRIT FALLING. God has promised the outpouring of His Spirit upon us, but before this scripture can be fulfilled, we must first fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures - by following the will of God, obeying the Word of God and doing things in the way of God. Failure to fulfill all will falter the existing blessings and frustrate the expecting promises of the scriptures. The fulfillment of God's promises is not just by asking, praying or fasting; it is by fulfilling all righteousness of God.

(3) GOD'S APPROVAL: To experience the blessing of God in our lives is not as important as experiencing the Spirit of God present and working in our lives and ministries; and to experience the move and miracles of Holy Spirit in our lives and ministries is not as important as receiving God's approval at the end of our lives on earth. It's possible to get God's blessings of opened heavens, it is possible to see the move and miracle of God's Spirit, and at the end gains no entrance into heaven.

Jesus Christ said, "Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" Matthew 7:22,23. These Christians and ministers who were disapproved by Jesus Christ experienced opened heaven of blessings in their lifetimes, they also experienced the great move and miracles of God's Spirit to the point of doing "many wonders", but they failed to fulfill all the righteousness of God in their lives and ministries, they failed to follow the scriptures to the letter, they gave their personal interpretations to the scriptures for their own conveniences. At the end, they failed to receive God's approval, and so they were doomed forever to hell despite all the blessings and anointing they had.

Jesus Christ received God's approval, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" because He fulfilled all righteousness. What if Jesus did not go to John the Baptist for water baptism? What if Jesus went to John just to visit without fulfilling all righteousness for water baptism? What if Jesus had heeded the suggestion of John the Baptism not to be baptized? He would not have seen heaven opened, then, He would not have received the Spirit falling, and He would not have received God's approval.

PERSONAL LIFE
Christianity has become so clumsy with different ideologies and doctrines that fulfilling all scriptural righteousness is not unnecessary, or it’s so tedious. In our personal Christian living, and in our different denominations, we tend to do half righteousness and fill the rest with human ideology or interpretation of the elders. We indulge in several worldliness and unfaithfulness, falling short to fulfill all righteousness. We involve in "it doesn't matter" sins, selfishness and permissiveness, and we still claim to be righteous. Little lies do not matter, little worldliness do not matter, worldly music, movies, magazines, TV reality shows, and makeup do not really matter to us any longer; exposing and expensive dress never bother us again, bribing for contracts and falsifying age for job do not matter as long as you pay your tithes faithfully.

Anger, envy, jealousy and gossip do not spoil our faith again as long we still greet one another. All these make us fall short to fulfill all righteousness, and they will make us fail to get God's approval if we do not repent. When we fail to fulfill all righteousness, then we fall short to receive God's righteous promises of eternal blessings. We need to go back to old time faith of righteousness before we can ever experience old time revival.

FAMILY
In our marriages and families, starting from courtships, do we fulfill all righteousness to keep the bed undefiled? We must fulfill all righteousness of the scriptures in our homes before we can experience God's presence. Wives must submit to their husbands irrespective of their statures, husbands must love their wives irrespective of their states, and children must obey their parents in the Lord.

The Bible says what God has joined together, let no man separate; but today, we care for money than we care for our marriage. The incessant separation because of job and business without first praying to seek God’s leading has ruined many Christian homes. Simply because of love of money and care for better financial life, we do not bother to maintain the unity of marriage; many children are wayward, many husbands have given in to strange women, and many wives are living in grave loneliness because of technical separation, because of the love of money we are running divided house. Temporal separation because of job transfer or business pursuit is not a sin, but it is not good and it will not go well with every family; that is the reason family needs to first seek God’s face for leading before moving. But the love of money and care of this world will not allow contentment and unity with little.

Oneness is Bible command in every Christian home, that is, husband and wife doing and planning EVERYTHING together, but in a case where husband has secret bank account, secret project or things he cannot disclose to his wife, and the wife has something in secret, how do you want to unite together in prayer and prevail over the enemy? How do you want to experience God’s presence in your marriage, or how will enemies not keep tormenting such Christian home when there are covered sins and past sins unrevealed?

CHURCH
In the church today, we are fulfilling scriptural righteousness to half and filling the rest with our church ordinances to suite ourselves.

Doctrines - Every denomination interpret the scriptures the way that will fit their personal interest. The members see what their senior Pastors and Bishops say as final without searching the scriptures to cross check, yes, that is like an abomination today.

Tithes- We claim the payment of tithes, we collect tithes with scriptural backing but we fail to fulfill the purpose of the tithes as clearly stated in the Bible. When the Bible says, "Bring the tithes and offerings to My storehouse, that there may be food in My house" We bring the tithes, we collect the tithes but we divert it for other purposes. We claim the promises of tithes but we don't use it for the scriptural purpose for the collection of the tithes. The biblical purpose of tithes is for distribution of the tithes for the benefits of the people who pay the tithes as the early church faithfully followed and fulfilled it. Acts 2:45; 4:35. While the scriptural purpose of the tithes is to build people in God's kingdom, we are busy building ultra modern church auditoriums.

The Bible purpose of the tithes and offerings is for Food - spiritual food for the people - for free materials; physical food for the people - for free food provisions, free basic healthcare, free library and schools for the same people who paid the tithes; instead, we are busy building multimillion church edifice. Church’s secondary schools are unavoidable, our church universities are more expensive than Government schools, and yet we pray for revival in our churches. How can there be revival of Holy Spirit when there is no faithfulness? We claim to have holiness church, but how can a church that is not faithful with money be a church of holiness? How can we claim to run a Bible church when we can’t be faith with usage of tithes as clearly stated in Old Testament and clearly followed by the New Testament church?

We give several excuses of using the tittle for administrative purposes and others, that is nothing but extra biblical misuse of fund; it is siphoning money for unbiblical purposes. The early church could also give excuses but they knew they had to fulfill all righteousness just as it is written in the scriptures, so that they would not fall short at the end. No wonder we pray and fast for revival but only to see more reversal. When we want to collect the tithes, we claim the scriptures, but when we want to use it, we say that is how churches in American and Europe use the tithes for administrative purposes. No wonder we are not having Bible church again, but American church; no wonder we are not seeing our signs again, no wonder enemies are insulting and assaulting the church, because we are not faithful, even we money. Until we fulfill all righteousness, until we are faithful to all the scriptural commands to the letter, we will keep recycling. If biblical administrative system is too old for us in our modern world, then we are too fragile to contain the old time revival.

Let’s go back to the old path of fulfilling all scriptural righteousness, no matter how old or odd it seems, so that we can experience the old time revival in our lives, homes, ministries and churches.

BIBLE STUDY: FAITH, FATE AND FAKE, Please crosscheck!

It is paramount for you to crosscheck the base and principle on which you are living your life. Reading this article will be of good by the help of the Holy Spirit.

Everybody in this life, irrespective of their religion or life view, lives by faith, by fate or by fake, and many times, these three life’s bases seem similar and can be mistaken to another if proper care is not taken. That is the reason this message is to clarify the three.

LIVING BY FATE / Pronounce as /feit/
According to online dictionary, fate is the development of events outside a person's control, regarded as predetermined by a supernatural power. From this definition, we can reword fate as living outside one’s control by supernatural power – supernatural power is power above human power which could by God’s power or Satan’s power, but since God does not work by fate, hence it is Satan’s power.

To live by fate is to throw your destiny to the air for Satan to control; it is like one releasing the control of his ship to the wave of the sea. Every religion in this world is based on fate (you know Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with God), and so people under religion are controlled by crisis, not Christ; they are living in pieces, not in peace; they settle with anything that circumstances bring their ways, since they have no control, and they are not sure who, what or how their situations are being controlled, they leave everything to fate.

People living by fate is living in fear, because fear is a roommate of fate since nothing is certain. People living by fate have no faith in Christ; they reject or refuse Jesus Christ as their Lord. People living by fate live the way they please even in unpleasant and sinful manners in Satan’s freedom of bondage – seeing themselves as the controllers of their lives while Satan is their Dictator. They believe in their father’s religion or their framed philosophy.

Living by fate is living by probability, nothing is certain, not even where they are ending to after dead; everything is dim and blurry. There is no life as dangerous as living by fate.

LIVING BY FAKE
Fake is something not genuine; imitation or counterfeit. This is counterfeit of something original – Faith - fake faith. If you are a Christian, a church member, a Christian worker, a Christian leader or a Christian minister, it means you know what faith in Christ is all about, but do you know Satan does manipulates many people’s faith or exchange it along the way and turns it fake? That is the reason it is imperative for every Christian to constantly examine their faith in Christ lest it turns to fake. “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.” 2 Corinthians 13:5.

Characterises Of Fake Faith:
(i) Confession Without Repentance. The beginning of fake faith is confessing sins to God without first repenting from those sins. If you want to surrender your life to Jesus or you want to rededicate your life to Him, and then you start with the prayer of confession of sin without first repenting from that sin, you will always find yourself confessing and committing sins.

Repentance is realizing your sins as sins and ready to forsake them. If you are confessing the sin you have not made up your mind never to commit again, is that not a bundle of fake?

(ii) Good Claiming Without Godly Characters. The common feature of fake Christian faith is claiming that lack godly living; claiming the righteousness of Jesus without living righteous life, claiming to be a child of God without lifestyle of holiness; claiming, “there is no condemnation” while they continue in sin and have unsettled restitution. Such faith is fake.

(iii) Confession Of God’s Promises Without Considering God’s Precepts. Every Christian of today, including the fake, has in memory at least 3 promises of God. Bible verses of God’s promises are the most popular verses - like 3 John verse 2, Philippians 4: 13 and 19. But the funny thing is that many Christians who are good at confessing the good promises of God barely consider the precepts and commands of God. That is the reason Bible verses like Romans 12:1, 1 John 3:8, and Hebrews 9:27 may not be popular with such Christians and their churches. If you are one of the Christians who are more of confessing God’s promises without taking more time to consider and live according to the precepts of God, then you are holding to a fake faith which you urgently need to drop now for a better one.

“Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness.” Psalm 119:40

(iv) Earthly First. Christians with fake faith seek first earthly stuffs more than heavenly things; they are more concerned about their physical wellbeing than their spiritual wellbeing. How will you know this? In your personal prayer, if you pray first or mostly on earthly things like blessings, provision, prosperity, protection, health, etc. in your prayer time than purification and sanctification of your soul, righteousness of God, grace and strength of God to be more like Jesus and to do the work of evangelism, then you are a fake Christian. In your preaching and pursuit, if you are primarily on such earthly things, then you are having a beautiful fake faith as a Christian or as a Christian minister.

1 Timothy 6:11, “But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.”

LIVING BY FAITH IN JESUS
There is no better life you can live in this world apart from living by faith. You can live luxurious life, you can live in mansion, you can live in wealth, you can live in beautiful place, but if you are not living by faith in Jesus Christ, you are miserable. Living by faith in Jesus is living with certainty and confidence: with certainty of where you are coming from, where you are and where you heading to; with confidence of who is in control of your life and what He has for you. Living by faith removes confusion, fear and unrest mind. Living by faith is ensued with peace of life and unspeakable joy of the Lord.

There is only one group of people who can genuinely and successfully live by faith in Jesus, and God wants you to be part of this group, because every other groups are disqualified. Many people desire to live by faith, many claim to live by faith, but only one group actually lives by faith. Here is the group - Romans 1:17, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH
Only the just shall live by faith! Only the just are actually and genuinely living by faith! The Bible does not say, “People shall live by faith” It does not say, “Sinner shall live by faith”. How can you claim to live by faith when you are not just or how can you live by faith if you are not just? IMPOSSIBLE!

This is a divine DISCLAMER from God, that only the just are living by His faith, which He recognize, other claimers are on their own. Sinning sinners claiming to live by faith is fake claim, backsliding Christian claiming to be living by faith is fake. Before you can live by faith, you need to be among the just. Who are the just?

THE JUST!
“But the just shall live by his faith.” Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38

Another words for “The just” is the righteous, the redeemed, the regenerated. There is no shortcut or other means by which you can live by faith except by becoming a just.

Do you notice that the Bible does not say, “Faith will make you just” but it says “the just shall live by faith” Many preachers of today are turning it upside down by saying if you have faith you will become justified in Christ even when you continue in unjustified lifestyle. No, this is fake! You can’t continue living in unjustifiable lifestyle, which is sinful life, and claim to be just at the same time. You cannot continue in sin and live by faith at the same time.

To become a just person, you need to be justified by Jesus Christ when you repent from your sins, confess and forsake them.

SALVATION: We are saved by faith in Jesus Christ to live a faithful life, not to continue in unfaithfulness. Those who claim salvation in Christ by faith and continue in sin at the same time are living in spiritual confusion and contradiction.

You need to get the following clear:

We are saved by GRACE. “For by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:8

We are saved through FAITH. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8

We are saved for good work, RIGHTEOUS WALKING. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

If you know the means by which and through which you are saved, but you don’t know for what purpose you are saved, you will miss everything. That is the problem with preachers who preach once saved is always saved, who say you can continue in sin and still claim faith, and the same problem with Christians who claim they are saved while they continue in worldly lifestyles.

Beloved, do you care for genuine salvation that gives victory over sin? Do you want to live by faith and the rest of your life till you see the Blessed Jesus? Then you need to be justified in Jesus Christ.

ARCHBISHOP IDAHOSA
This man was one of the people who brought prosperity gospel to Nigeria around 1980s, another gospel different from the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. There are two painful things the devil successfully used this man to do in Christianity in Nigeria:

1, he helped to destroy the heavenly mission and messages of several ordained ministers of God. People like Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, etc. had personal relationship with Bishop Idahosa and their ministries never remained the same in the right path again. If you knew the above mentioned ministers in their campuses or early ministries, they had heavenly conscious mission and they were holiness preachers, but some of them got the shipwreck of their faith and ministries when they came across Bishop Idahosa.

2, this man turned Christianity upside down. I heard someone quoted Bishop Idahosa that he met Church in Nigeria in poverty when he came back to Nigeria, but turned things around. Yes, he was right. When Idahosa came with gospel of prosperity, most churches in Nigeria were financially poor but spiritually rich; then the church had few cars among the members but you don’t need to speak in tongues before you know a child of God in deed. Before the arrival of prosperity gospel in Nigeria, companies were writing letters to church to employ their members because of faithfulness and diligence among the church. But today if a church member manage to get job offer and asked to bring letter of guarantor from his pastor, the pastor will be afraid to guarantee his church members because of various disappointments. As the pastor is looking for means to defraud his members so also the members towards the pastor, it’s who succeed first.

This is the type of Christianity prosperity gospel has brought to us.

And you as a person, what name should I call you? You know all the evils, immoralities, politics and games of powers and positions that are going on in your prosperity modern church among the pastors, workers and members that sometimes you wonder if the church even deserve to be called a church of God or if the pastors deserve to be called men of God. But you will come to Facebook to defend what is not defendable and condemn those who speak the truth to deliver the captives from the deception these modern preachers.

For how long will you continue to deceive yourself and to defend this faulty gospel of modern church and these misleading preachers, until you get to hell fire?

Others may be deceived but you can choose not to be; others may continue in this faulty, fake and frivolous modern gospel of prosperity and unguided freedom, but you should be wise and beware!

Let’s repent and return to the old time faith of our founding faith of holiness with godliness before the Master returns.

THE TEMPLE OF GOD
"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16

In the Old Testament, temple of God was a physical building in Jerusalem, but in the New Testament, the physical body of every child of God is the temple of God. When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your body becomes the temple of God, and your heart serves the throne of God.

DEFILING THE TEMPLE OF GOD
Many Christians and preachers claim that God is only interested in their hearts and nothing with their body, and so they can do anything with their bodies. Such teaching and notion is from the pit of hell, very deceptive and destructive; the same Christians ask God to heal their bodies when they are sick and also ask God to protect their bodies, so if God is not interested in their bodies, why will God heal their bodies from sickness? If they think their faith in God has nothing to do with their body, why will they ask God to heal or protect the their body from attacks?

Jesus Christ died for our soul, spirit and body, to give freedom, not only for our soul but also our body. When you become a child of God, your body is no longer your body but God's temple, whatever you do with it is very important to God. Involving in any act that defiles God's temple attracts serious judgment of God. "If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." 1 Corinthians 3:17.

ACTS OF DEFILING GOD'S TEMPLE
Here are some acts that defile God's temple, which every child of God should flee from:

(1) SMOKING: Smoking is not just a wrong against one's health, but also it is a sin of defiling God's temple after salvation. After you are genuinely saved, going back to smoke is destructive to your spirit, soul and body, it defiles God's temple - your body, and it attracts God's judgment.

(2) DRINKING ALCOHOL: Drinking alcohol was not allowed in the temple of God in the Old Testament, “Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die." Leviticus 10:9; and how much more do you expect with the temple redeemed by the Blood of Jesus? The reason why drinking alcohol is a forbidden thing to a genuine child of God is because his body is the temple of God, and alcohol is not allowed in the temple of God.

(3) TATTOO: Painting tattoo to the body is only meant for the gentiles, the unbelievers who owe their own bodies for their destruction, but when your body becomes the temple of God, redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus, it becomes sinful and evil to paint tattoo on your body. "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:28 "I AM THE LORD OF YOUR BODY AFTER YOU SURRENDER YOUR LIFE TO ME, NOT YOUR OWN ANYMORE" - JESUS CHRIST.

(4) BLEACHING: Toning skin, lightening skin or bleaching skin is an act of defiling the temple of God. When you become a child of God through repentance, your body belongs to Jesus, and you dare not do anything to your body that will not glorify God or that will alter God's given colour or complexion. Bleaching, lightening skin or toning skin is evil and destructive.

(5) MASTURBATION: Masturbation is an act of manipulating one's body for sexual pleasure, it is forbidden for every genuine child of God, because our body is the temple of God and we cannot manipulate it. Masturbation actually mean having sex with demon; since it is for sexual pleasure and it usually involves two people; in masturbation, the other person is invisible and that is demon. When you surrender your life to Jesus completely, you must resist and reject the demon of masturbation when he comes back to play with you.

(6) MouthAction: Either in marriage or outside marriage, MouthAction is an immoral act of working against the normal cause of nature, it is turning the cause of nature upside down by using what is meant for oral for sex and what is meant for sex for oral; since your body is the temple of God, you will not want to turn the temple of God upside down, you know God will not take that for granted?

(7) FORNICATION & ADULTERY: These are the worst of all sins, because sexual immorality is the only sin that cuts across spirit, soul and body at the same time. it's a serious sin that poisons the whole system. Sexual immorality is a sacrifice that empowers the kingdom of darkness, what it means is that whenever sexual immorality is being committed, demons are readily present to empower themselves. Bodies or places where sexual immorality is being committed are filled with demons. Since your body becomes the temple of God, it is a must to keep yourself and flee from every form of sexual immorality. If you have involved in such before, you repent, ask Jesus to cleanse you and do not go back into it.

DESTRUCTION FOR DEFILING GOD'S TEMPLE
"If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." 1 Corinthians 3:17.

There is grave judgment of God for anyone who defiles temple of God by any act. If you have been involving in any of these acts, you have to repent and ask God to forgive you and turn to Him in a new life completely.

Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

THE SHAME OF HELL
What is the shame of Hell? Well, friend, the shame of Hell is the fact that, if you go there, you will eventually come to grips with one unforgettable truth: YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO GO! Imagine that! Imagine spending ETERNITY with that on your mind! Imagine being in Hell for a million years and then thinking, "I didn't have to come here! I could have received Christ! Oh, what a fool I was! If only I had not been so stubborn! If...if...if...!" That's the shame of Hell: going there when you DON'T HAVE TO GO! People accuse God of being unfair in sending sinners to Hell.

Listen, YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO! The decision is YOUR'S, not God's. God made His decision 2000 years ago when He gave His Only Begotten Son to die as a payment for your sins. If you go to Hell, you will go AGAINST God's will, because God wants you to REPENT and trust Christ to save you ( II ‪‎Peter‬ 3:9). How about it? THE BLESSINGS OF RESTITUTION
Judges 17:1-2. Now there was a man from the mountains of Ephraim, whose name was Micah. 2 And he said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, and on which you put a curse, even saying it in my ears—here is the silver with me; I took it.” And his mother said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my son!

There are many blessings that follow after restitution is done, here are few of them:

Peace with Men
In our past old life, we wronged God and men, when we are saved, we make peace with God and so we must complete the process of peace by making peace with people. People we fought, we offended, or harmed before we were saved must be contacted and apologized to. People we had rancor, malice and animosity with must be settled with, even if we think they wronged us, even if we have decided not to greet them again, yet we must make peace with them for the sake of peace and to remove the bitterness, malice and others so that we don’t give room to the devil in our new lives in Christ. “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men” Romans 12:18
People you are living with, working with, schooling with; family members, friends and neighbors, every one we had issues with, as much as we can, we should settle peacefully with them.

When we make peace with all men, both right and wrong, it confirms our peace with God, it gives us peace and it’s the only way to see God, to enter heaven. “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” Hebrews 12:14. When we settle with people peacefully, it shows we are truly children of God, the King of Peace; Jesus the Prince of Peace and we, the children of peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9.

It Settles Old Accounts
Restitution is to settle our old accounts and close them. If you are saved and you have not made some past wrongs right by restitution, it simply means you keep your old account open which may stand against you here on earth and eventually disallow you to enter heaven. Undone restitution has the capacity to block God’s blessing in your life here on earth and block you from entering Heaven. The old records which stand against you can only be settled and closed by restitution. “Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.” 1 Timothy 5:24.

It confirms your new life in Jesus Christ
In different online and phone transaction, after you have sent your desired transaction, you will be asked to confirm your transaction. If you fail to “just” confirm, thinking since you have filled all the forms, supplied all the needed information and it has been sent and accepted, you think to confirm again is of no use, your transaction will be invalid and will not be processed. The same is in reality with restitution. After you have repented and confessed your sin to God and He has forgiven, cleansed and accepted you, you need to respond back to confirm your salvation by restitution. Think about it, if I were your neighbor and I stole your stuffs in past and using them. You knew and just kept quiet, then later I got saved and come to preach to you and still using what I stole from you, how will you feel? Restitution is a reality for every regenerated child of God.

It turns curses to blessings
Many curses in life are caused by wrong things that was done in past, and many problems facing children of God after they have been saved are not because the enemies are powerful over their lives in Christ but because they allow the old curses to have access to their new lives because of ignoring necessary restitution they need to do. Undone restitution allows the unsettled wrong of your past to haunt your present life even though you are now a child of God. You give access to Satan, enemies, generational curses and many attacks when you refuse to do needed restitution. This can also block the free flow of God’s blessing, progress and God’s promises for your life.

Undone restitution gives Satan to accuse you and oppose you in the present of God. Most of the problems making us to do fasting, special prayers, deliverance and attend several programs and the problems remain the same; those problems can be solved if we do simple acts of apologizing, forgiving or any necessary restitution as the case may be, and that end the mountainous problems, and that begins the progress and prosperity in your life, marriage and ministry. “And he said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, and on which you put a curse, even saying it in my ears—here is the silver with me; I took it.” And his mother said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my son!” Judges 17:2. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

It Gives Blessed Assurance
When restitution is settled, you have peace, you have more confidence in the Lord and you have assurance of heaven. Satan will not have anything to hold against you and you will have that strong boldness in your prayer. Here is what the Word of God says, “And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” 1 John 3:19-22.

People you are living with, working with, schooling with; family members, friends and neighbors, every one we had issues with, as much as we can, we should settle peacefully with them.

FALSE TEACHING ON RICHES AND PROSPERITY

The false teaching and heresy on financial or material riches and prosperity states THAT IF YOU ARE FINANCIALLY RICH, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SERVE GOD BETTER. Have you heard such before? This is a groundbreaking error, a false teaching of demons in this end time. If you want to serve Jesus Christ well and make heaven, you will listen to what Jesus Christ Himself says about riches and wealth, not what the agents of Satan are saying in the name of pastor, bishop, evangelist or daddy G.O. Jesus Christ taught about riches and wealth so clear that no serious minded Christian should be misled. Sometimes I wonder why doctrines of demons on riches and prosperity become so much acceptable among today’s Christians as if Jesus never taught about riches, why can’t we follow the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ on this topic instead of being deceived and carried away by the teachings of Satan through his agents called prosperity preachers and motivational speakers?

What Jesus Christ Taught About Riches
Jesus Christ says if you are rich, it becomes more difficult for you to make heaven. Matthew 19:23, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.” This Bible verse is a direct statement from Jesus Christ, which the prosperity preachers will never talk about, they will even wish to remove it from the Bible. What it means is that the more you are financially rich, the more it becomes hard for you to make heaven, the more you need extra grace, watchfulness and purity. But on the contrary, the teaching of Satan through his enormous agents – prosperity preachers – says that if you are financially rich, it helps you to serve God better. Have you not heard such thing before and believe it? That if you are financially prosperous and rich, you will be able to serve God very well. You will never find such in the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ or His apostles or even among our contemporary fathers of faith, but only among the agents of Satan who call themselves prosperity preachers, motivational speakers, senior pastors, daddy G.O of Satan, bishops of demons and evangelists of hell.

The teaching that more riches make it easier for a Christian to serve God is on the contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ and such is from the pit of hell. And many are being deceived today, that is the reason many Christians are looking for riches by all means because they believe it will help them to serve God better. The only thing to makes it easier to serve God is grace, not financial riches or prosperity.

The teachings of demons exalts prosperity more than purity, and that you can see in many churches’ preaching, prayer points, and among their preachers books and CDs, they preach and prayer on financial riches and prosperity as if that is the purpose of Jesus Christ dying on the cross.

You know what the Bible says about any preacher or pastor that preaches or prays on riches than righteousness or on prosperity than purity, such is useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. – 1 Timothy 6:5

Bible does not say you should continue to attend a church where financial riches is exalted than righteousness, where prosperity is preached often more than purity of life, and it does not says you should keep reading books, watching program or listen to CDs of such preachers, you know what the Bible says? It says you should withdraw from such. 1 Timothy 6:5.

When you attend a church where 6 out of 10 prayer points center on financial breakthrough and open doors of earthly blessings, where 6 out of 10 consecutive preaching and messages are about prosperity, favour, grace, glory of financial or material blessings and earthly stuffs, then you are in a mortuary, not a sanctuary. The Bible warns you to withdraw from such before you also become a living death Christian. 1 Timothy 6:5.

And you as a Christian, if 6 out 10 f your prayer points, center on riches of life, prosperity or problems of life, then you have become a spiritual member of Laodicea church. If your personal pursuits, program or plans are all about living a comfortable or prosperous life, to possess more of things of this life, to be popular, to have more money or to get the latest of materials in this passing world, then you are a living dead. You need to rededicate your life to Jesus afresh lest you perish with this world

The Bible says in the end-time many will be deceived by the doctrines of prosperity and riches, many churches that started well will end up at the feet of Satan. And are there not many who are falling apart? Are there not many Christians who are following the doctrines of Balaam? Are there not many who will miss heaven? But you must strive to make it to heaven in this perilous time.

It is all about priority! When we get our priority right to make first thing first, to seek the kingdom of God and its righteous living first, to pray and preach first on the kingdom of God, to live first for the kingdom of God, to work first for the kingdom of God in evangelism and good deed of sharing and supporting others with our riches, then prosperity from God in our lives will not become problem.

WHEN THE CHRISTIAN RACE GETS TOUGHER

Sometimes the Christian race gets so tough that we could barely feel the power of God and hardly see the possibility of God’s promises. When flesh becomes so tough to subdue, when Satan becomes more roaring to resist, when walking with God becomes so tedious and tiring, when working for God becomes so difficult and waiting on the Lord becomes so annoying like wasting time and when heaven becomes so far away, do you know what we are to do? It is not to pull over or pull back or look back, we are to do what Jesus Christ did. In Hebrews 12:2, the Word of God admonished us to “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" meaning we are to look unto Jesus and do as He did when things were tough for Him during His earthly ministry, we should look to the secret of His success during His earthly ministry when things got so hard and tough, here it is in that same Hebrews 12:2, “who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Jesus Christ looked beyond the cross, and He saw the joy, of salvation of many souls, the rewards, and glory, so He was encouraged to endure the cross and despise the present, passing shame of the cross. And so we are to follow His steps, we are to look ahead of the present situations. Look ahead for the eternal joy that is set before you in heaven, of the rewards in heaven and eternal blessing of being in the present of God for ever and ever and ever. And why should we not endure the temporal cross and difficulties, why are we not going to despise the passing shame of the world? By God's grace we will!

Are we going to fall back from the race to heaven because of the present pressure of sin and persecution of Satan? Are we going to forfeit the mansions, crowns of glory and eternal joy of heaven? Are we going to forsake our precious salvation and covenant of total faithfulness to God because of these temporal, screen-saver earthly gains? Are we going to miss the glorious heaven and mess up in the gloomy hell forever? NO! God forbid! By His grace, in this Christian race, we will not pull over, we will not pull back, we will not fall, we will not faint and we will not falter. When flesh becomes so tough to subdue, we will plunge into unlimited God’s grace and put the flesh to death. When Satan becomes more roaring, we will resist him by faith in Christ, not by our power. When walking with God becomes so tiring, He will renew our strength to fly. When working for God becomes so difficult, we are going to look unto Jesus Christ, we are going to wait on Him and He shall take us to His Father’s house of many mansions, and there we shall be with Him and reign with Him forever and ever. Amen!

Satan is a bad god but God is a good God, Satan is a liar and way of death but Jesus Christ is a Way of Truth and Life. And so we are not going to join the stupid generation who choose death instead of life, who choose sin instead of salvation, but we are not going to turn back like many others. By daily prayer, daily Bible reading, daily watchfulness and daily grace of God, we are making it, I am making it and you are making it to heaven.

You know what the Bible says in the same Hebrews 12:22, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. Amen!

It also says, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” Hebrews 12:28.

UNEDUCATED JOHN -VS- EDUCATED JUDAS
Some years back, when I was member of a Deeper Life Bible Church in Nigeria, I know of a brother pastoring a campus fellowship, and I heard he was doing well, and then later he was removed from pastoring the fellowship, why? I heard because he was not a university graduate, and he was replaced with a “university” graduate pastor. And I began to see the demoted pastor, who was not given any other church to pastor, coming to our district church to fellowship with us, and seating at the back (I still saw him last month when I traveled home, DLBC is my home church). Not long after, I heard the “university” graduate pastor could not successfully pastor the school fellowship, so they had to call the demoted no-B.Sc. pastor to come and help the “university” pastor as assistant pastor of the school fellowship.

This is the generation where higher education is now one of the requirements for working for God at a level. No wonder I saw many of the pastors there going back to school as part-time students, not just for the purpose of getting promotion in their businesses or offices, but for them to qualify to become senior pastor, because there was a limit you could reach in working for God in the church if you are not a university graduate, in fact, it wasn't possible for anyone to become a state overseer if the person was not a university graduate. And in this same type of Christianity we are praying for revival, which type of revival, is it academic or sarcastic revival or revival of the Holy Spirit?

Do you know why we are not experiencing the move of God in the church today as before, why lots of funny things are happening, why powers of darkness are prevailing of many Christians, why pastors cannot rescue their members from darkness? It is simply because the called are not the ordained and the ordained are not the called, as a result of misappropriate of priorities, depending on human wisdom instead of God’s power, ordaining people into ministerial position by physical outward look such as academic outlook of higher education, able to speak good English, and physical outward look of financial capacity, having a good car, able to fund the church, instead of ordaining those who are genuinely called by God. How can God back you in what He doesn’t call you into?

(Many Christians today to not have the understanding that there is God's calling into ministry, that you don't just go into pastoral or full time ministry without divine calling.)

Jesus Christ ordained Peter as the “General Overseer or Senior Pastor” of the early church, and you know who was his deputy? It was John. But both Peter and John were stark illiterates, you know people that you don’t need to spend too much time speaking with before you discover that they are illiterates and unlearned? Those were Peter and John. Let’s read it in the Bible: Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.”

Peter and John were not only uneducated but also unlearned, meaning they were not civilized, and Jesus Christ handed over the leadership of the church, not only in a village but worldwide, unto them. That would be impossible in this civilized type of our Christianity today where pastor are reading Bible from ipad, that is the reason our civilized Christianity cannot contain the power of God as of old.

If Pa Akindayomin were to come back to Redeemed church - RCCG of today, he would never be ordained a Area Pastor, because of his uneducated background. And this is the man God used to found the same church, the man who received revelation of the name to call the church, Redeemed Christian Church of God, and he didn't understand the meaning, yet God choose and used him. But today, the same church is filled with educated Judas Iscariot and civilized criminals.

What A Funny Generation We Are!
We are in generation where people prefer attractive packagings to effective products.

We are in a generation where people prefer quantity to quality.

We are in a generation where people prefer popularity to productivity.

We are in a generation of Christianity where people prefer speaking in tongue to speaking the truth.

We are in a generation of Christians where people prefer educated Judas Iscariot to uneducated John.

We are in a sarcastic funny generation of Christianity

Depending on God’s Power Not Human Capacity
In the days of John Wesley, lay preachers with limited education would sometimes conduct the church service. One man used Luke 19:21 as his text, “Lord, I feared thee, because thou art an austere man.” KJV. Not knowing the word austere, he thought the text spoke of “an oyster man.” He explained how a diver must grope in dark, freezing water to retrieve oysters, in his attempt; he cuts his hands on the sharp edges of the shells. After he obtains oyster, he rises to the surface, clutching it “in his torn and bleeding hands.” The preacher added, “Christ descended from the glory of heaven into…..sinful human society in order to retrieve humans and bring them back up with Him to the glory of heaven. His torn and bleeding hands are a sign of the value He has placed on the object of His quest.”

Afterward, 12 men received Christ. Later that night someone came to Wesley to complain about unschooled preachers who were too ignorant even to know the meaning of the texts they were preaching on. The Oxford-educated Wesley simply said, “Never mind, the Lord gets a dozen oysters tonight.”

If we want to experience the move of God and His glory in our lives or in our ministries, we must totally depend on God for His will, not our ways, we must let God use our inadequacies and that of others for His glory. God does not choose by physical capacity or outward look, but by His own divine calling. We cannot experience revival in our lives, families, ministries, career, or business until we revert back to the standard of God and His wisdom.

1 Corinthians 1:26, 27, “For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty”

WHY GOD USED D. L MOODY

Eighty-six years ago (February 5, 1837), there was born of poor parents in a humble farmhouse in Northfield, Massachusetts, a little baby who was to become the greatest man, as I believe, of his generation or of his century — Dwight L. Moody. After our great generals, great statesmen, great scientists and great men of letters have passed away and been forgotten, and their work and its helpful influence has come to an end, the work of D. L. Moody will go on and its saving influence continue and increase, bringing blessing not only to every state in the Union but to every nation on earth. Yes, it will continue throughout the ages of eternity.

My subject is “Why God Used D. L. Moody,” and I can think of no subject upon which I would rather speak. For I shall not seek to glorify Mr. Moody, but the God who by His grace, His entirely unmerited favor, used him so mightily, and the Christ who saved him by His atoning death and resurrection life, and the Holy Spirit who lived in him and wrought through him and who alone made him the mighty power that he was to this world. Furthermore: I hope to make it clear that the God who used D. L. Moody in his day is just as ready to use you and me, in this day, if we, on our part, do what D. L. Moody did, which was what made it possible for God to so abundantly use him.

The whole secret of why D. L. Moody was such a mightily used man you will find in Psalm 62:11: “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that POWER BELONGETH UNTO GOD.” I am glad it does. I am glad that power did not belong to D. L. Moody; I am glad that it did not belong to Charles G. Finney; I am glad that it did not belong to Martin Luther; I am glad that it did not belong to any other Christian man whom God has greatly used in this world’s history. Power belongs to God. If D. L. Moody had any power, and he had great power, he got it from God.

But God does not give His power arbitrarily. It is true that He gives it to whomsoever He will, but He wills to give it on certain conditions, which are clearly revealed in His Word; and D. L. Moody met those conditions and God made him the most wonderful preacher of his generation; yes, I think the most wonderful man of his generation. But how was it that D. L. Moody had that power of God so wonderfully manifested in his life? Pondering this question it seemed to me that there were seven things in the life of D. L. Moody that accounted for God’s using him so largely as He did.

(1) A Fully Surrendered Man
The first thing that accounts for God’s using D. L. Moody so mightily was that he was a fully surrendered man. Every ounce of that two-hundred-and-eighty -pound body of his belonged to God; everything he was and everything he had, belonged wholly to God. Now, I am not saying that Mr. Moody was perfect; he was not. If I attempted to, I presume I could point out some defects in his character. It does not occur to me at this moment what they were; but I am confident that I could think of some, if I tried real hard. I have never yet met a perfect man, not one. I have known perfect men in the sense in which the Bible commands us to be perfect, i.e., men who are wholly God’s, out and out for God, fully surrendered to God, with no will but God’s will; but I have never known a man in whom I could not see some defects, some places where he might have been improved.

No, Mr. Moody was not a faultless man. If he had any flaws in his character, and he had, I presume I was in a position to know them better than almost any other man, because of my very close association with him in the later years of his life; and furthermore, I suppose that in his latter days he opened his heart to me more fully than to anyone else in the world. I think He told me some things that he told no one else.

I presume I knew whatever defects there were in his character as well as anybody. But while I recognized such flaws, nevertheless, I know that he was a man who belonged wholly to God.The first month I was in Chicago, we were having a talk about something upon which we very widely differed, and Mr. Moody turned to me very frankly and very kindly and said in defense of his own position: “Torrey, if I believed that God wanted me to jump out of that window, I would jump.” I believe he would. If he thought God wanted him to do anything, he would do it. He belonged wholly, unreservedly, unqualifiedly, entirely, to God.

Henry Varley, a very intimate friend of Mr. Moody in the earlier days of his work, loved to tell how he once said to him: “It remains to be seen what God will do with a man who gives himself up wholly to Him.” I am told that when Mr. Henry Varley said that, Mr. Moody said to himself: “Well, I will be that man.” And I, for my part, do not think “it remains to be seen” what God will do with a man who gives himself up wholly to Him. I think it has been seen already in D. L. Moody.If you and I are to be used in our sphere as D. L. Moody was used in his, we must put all that we have and all that we are in the hands of God, for Him to use as He will, to send us where He will, for God to do with us what He will, and we, on our part, to do everything God bids us do.

There are thousands and tens of thousands of men and women in Christian work, brilliant men and women, rarely gifted men and women, men and women who are making great sacrifices, men and women who have put all conscious sin out of their lives, yet who, nevertheless, have stopped short of absolute surrender to God, and therefore have stopped short of fullness of power. But Mr. Moody did not stop short of absolute surrender to God; he was a wholly surrendered man, and if you and I are to be used, you and I must be wholly surrendered men and women.

(2) A Man of Prayer
The second secret of the great power exhibited in Mr. Moody’s life was that Mr. Moody was in the deepest and most meaningful sense a man of prayer. People oftentimes say to me: “Well, I went many miles to see and to hear D. L. Moody and he certainly was a wonderful preacher.” Yes, D. L. Moody certainly was a wonderful preacher; taking it all in all, the most wonderful preacher I have ever heard, and it was a great privilege to hear him preach as he alone could preach; but out of a very intimate acquaintance with him I wish to testify that he was a far greater prayer than he was preacher.

Time and time again, he was confronted by obstacles that seemed insurmountable, but he always knew the way to surmount and to overcome all difficulties. He knew the way to bring to pass anything that needed to be brought to pass. He knew and believed in the deepest depths of his soul that “nothing was too hard for the Lord” and that prayer could do anything that God could do.Often times Mr. Moody would write me when he was about to undertake some new work, saying: “I am beginning work in such and such a place on such and such a day; I wish you would get the students together for a day of fasting and prayer” And often I have taken those letters and read them to the students in the lecture room and said: “Mr. Moody wants us to have a day of fasting and prayer, first for God’s blessing on our own souls and work, and then for God’s blessing on him and his work.”Often we were gathered in the lecture room far into the night — sometimes till one, two, three, four or even five o’clock in the morning, crying to God, just because Mr. Moody urged us to wait upon God until we received His blessing. How many men and women I have known whose lives and characters have been transformed by those nights of prayer and who have wrought mighty things in many lands because of those nights of prayer!One day Mr. Moody drove up to my house at Northfield and said: “Torrey, I want you to take a ride with me.” I got into the carriage and we drove out toward Lover’s Lane, talking about some great and unexpected difficulties that had arisen in regard to the work in Northfield and Chicago, and in connection with other work that was very dear to him.

As we drove along, some black storm clouds lay ahead of us, and then suddenly, as we were talking, it began to rain. He drove the horse into a shed near the entrance to Lover’s Lane to shelter the horse, and then laid the reins upon the dashboard and said: “Torrey, pray”; and then, as best I could, I prayed, while he in his heart joined me in prayer. And when my voice was silent he began to pray. Oh, I wish you could have heard that prayer! I shall never forget it, so simple, so trustful, so definite and so direct and so mighty. When the storm was over and we drove back to town, the obstacles had been surmounted, and the work of the schools, and other work that was threatened, went on as it had never gone on before, and it has gone on until this day. As we drove back, Mr. Moody said to me: “Torrey, we will let the other men do the talking and the criticizing, and we will stick to the work that God has given us to do, and let Him take care of the difficulties and answer the criticisms.”On one occasion Mr. Moody said to me in Chicago: “I have just found, to my surprise, that we are twenty thousand dollars behind in our finances for the work here and in Northfield, and we must have that twenty thousand dollars, and I am going to get it by prayer.” He did not tell a soul who had the ability to give a penny of the twenty thousand dollars’ deficit, but looked right to God and said: “I need twenty thousand dollars for my work; send me that money in such a way that I will know it comes straight from Thee.” And God heard that prayer. The money came in such a way that it was clear that it came from God in direct answer to prayer.

Yes, D. L. Moody was a man who believed in the God who answers prayer, and not only believed in Him in a theoretical way but believed in Him in a practical way. He was a man who met every difficulty that stood in his way — by prayer. Everything he undertook was backed up by prayer, and in everything, his ultimate dependence was upon God.

YOU DON'Y WANT TO MAKE HEAVEN LIKE LAZARUS?
When your prosperity preacher says you must not go to heaven like poor Lazarus, what that means is that you should go to hell like the rich man.

Or how can a responsible Christian ridicule a saint in heaven, even if he was poor, if not because the pipe of his spiritual reasoning is blocked?

I better go to heaven as a poor man than go to hell as a rich man with private jets. I have surrendered my life to Jesus, He knows the best way that will be easy for me to get to heaven, poor or rich, in Africa or in America, all I care is to get to heaven.

Repeatedly preaching, praying or claiming prosperity does bring prosperity from God, it only bring lack of contentment and godliness, it only brings love of money, it only bring manipulated riches and attracts lots of evils and eternal lost.

Do not follow ways of prediction.

1 Timothy 6:3-6, " If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, 5 useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain."

THE BLESSINGS OF ABRAHAM
In Christianity today, we claim the blessing of Abraham as a reason for every child of God to be rich, that is great, but the blessings of Abraham is more than the passing riches of this world, Abraham's blessings are much more than financial blessing and material stuff. Lazarus was a son of Abraham, in fact, when he died, he was right at the bosom of Abraham, yet he was poor on earth. That means Abraham blessings are not just physical, they are spiritual blessings - justification in Jesus Christ. God can choose to make any of His children financially rich and He may also choose not.

It’s not a must for the child of God to be rich financially and materially, but it’s a must to be rich towards God. Jesus never promised financial prosperity to His followers, since no place in the Gospel books or throughout the teachings and episodes of the Apostles, and in the book of Revelation that financial or material prosperity was promised to those who follow and serve Christ.

It’s not a sin for a child of God to be rich, but it’s not a must, as many preachers are claiming. Financial riches and wealth is so minor and additional that a genuine child of God and minister of God will not focus his attention on it. The priority of a serious minded Christian is to live according to God's word and fulfill God's will on earth.

The temporal "good things" are not as important as the eternal good things. If you allow the good things of this world to distract you from serving God, if you allow the good things of this world to take away your salvation and integrity in Christ, you are making yourself another "rich man" of this generation who had his "good things" and ended up in hell of eternal torment.

THE EVIL THINGS THAT LEAD TO GOOD PLACE
It’s possible to be poor because of righteousness till the person gets to heaven. Lazarus was a child of God and he served God wholeheartedly, but he was poor. What it means is that, it better to remain righteous, uncompromising in Jesus and be poor than to compromise and gain wealth through lying and ungodly means. Everybody may be doing that to get job or wealth, because everybody wants to be rich, but only few will stand for righteousness than unrighteous riches. Proverbs 19:22, ".....And a poor man is better than a liar."

Does that means Lazarus didn’t know his right in the Lord as many preachers claim that it is the right of every child of God to be rich? Some preachers even go to the extent of preaching that if you are a poor Christian, you are under curse. But if you check most of their rich members, they are more like this rich man in the Bible. The modern Christianity gospel preaches that it is a must to be rich, but in the Christianity of the Bible being rich is good but not a must, there are only two things Jesus made as under a must for every heavenly minded Christian, and they are holiness and evangelism. Holiness is under a must if you want to see God at the end, because without holiness no man shall see God; and evangelism is a must, in fact Paul said woe is unto him if he failed to preach the Gospel to others.

Can we also say Lazarus was a lazy man as a result of his poverty? NO! Lazarus was not poor because he was lazy but he preferred to remain poor than to compromise holiness; he chose to be poor than to change figure, he accepted to be poor than to bribe for contracts or any good thing of this life. You can mock Lazarus for being poor, you can mock him for being a poor Christian, but it is a matter of time because this present life is a matter of time.

THE GOOD THINGS THAT LEAD TO BAD PLACE
LUKE 16:25, "But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented."

It's not wrong for us to have good things on earth, because good things are good as long it is godly. But the “good things” the rich man in the Bible received were the gain of unrighteousness which made him rich, and “evil things” Lazarus received were the persecutions and forbearance for righteousness and for the sake of righteousness.

It’s possible for you to be rich through unrighteous means and enjoy your life till you die, just like many people today who are forgoing and forgetting righteousness for the sake of riches, positions, power, and popularity. But what will it profits a man if he gains the world and loses his soul? The riches, wealth, opportunities, jobs, contracts, allowances, money, properties, certificates, visas, business connections, positions, votes, positions, profits that you gain through unrighteous means (lying, falsification, malpractices, stealing, bribing, cheating, etc ) are the good things which you received in your lifetime that will qualify you for eternal destruction, to hell at the end of your lifetime on earth.

Any good thing you get through a bad means will make you groan in eternity like the rich man. The good things which you gained through unrighteous means and made you rich in your lifetime will create your eternal doom and suffering after your lifetime is expired on earth.

You can gain a lot of riches and many good things on earth by ungodly and unrighteous ways and have wonderful time in life, and enjoy yourself to the full, but at the expense of your soul and eternity. Good things like nice house, beautiful car, easy life and luxurious life; you get what you want, you eat what you want, you drive the car you like, and you travel all over the world. Is that not good and splendid? The Bible said the rich man "was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day." What a splendid and sweet life! He was wearing the best designers, and lived the best quality life of his generation. He did a lot of good things to his life and body, but not to his soul. Like this rich man, those who get good things without being godly, will regret at the end.

2 THINGS YOU NEED AFTER YOU ARE SAVED: Separation & Devotion

After you genuinely repent, confess your sins and being saved from sins, you will need two things to do and keep doing for you to maintain your salvation. It is a bad news that many people are saved but they lose their salvation and fall back to old bondage of sin because they lack the understanding of new life in Jesus Christ. It is possible for you to be saved in the morning and lose the salvation in the evening if you don’t take these two necessary steps. Salvation is conditional, not an unconditional certificate.

Many people do experience genuine salvation but fall back into sin because they fail to take these two steps after they are saved. And the same thing is applicable to falling back into addicted sins.

Failure to do the right things after you are saved will lead you to fall back into sins you have rejected. Let’s look at the Word of God, Matthew 12:43-45:

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

This reveals why many people who were genuinely saved usually fall back into sin. Behind every sin is an unclean spirit, and when you genuinely repent and experience salvation, the unclean spirits will go out of your life, including the addicted sins, and your heart will be swept clean and put in order, but if you do not take the right steps of total separation and devotion after you are saved, some forces of those sins will come back and you will fall back into old sins.

So if you don’t want to keep rising and falling, if you don’t want to keep falling back into the addicted sins, you need SEPARATION and DEVOTION after you genuinely repent from all your sins. Let’s look at them one after another:

SEPARATION
After you have experienced genuine salvation, the first step you will need to take immediately is separation, you must separate yourself from every connection to old sinful life, from things that will not help or support your new life in Jesus Christ such as worldly music, movies, magazine – you will delete or destroy them; you will immediately stop going to places that will not help you spiritually includes worldly churches. You must detach yourself from people that will not help your spiritual life, friendship or relationship. You must destroy every sinful, worldly or cultic material in your possession including all the worldly dresses, clothing, jewelries – you don’t keep them or give to people, but you get rid of them completely and immediately.

After you experience salvation, failure to separate yourself from old sinful and worldly things and people will lead you to fall back into sins. Instead of you to move forward with Christ in new life, those things or people will pull you back into darkness and your old vomit. That is what Apostle Peter says in 2 Peter 2:22, “But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Every Christian journey that will successfully lead to heaven must daily involve separation as a continuous exercise. Separation from worldly, sinful things and people is not only for new convert, it is not only useful for us at our early Christian level but continuously till we get to heaven because when you separate yourself from this sinful or worldly thing today, the devil will introduce another thing tomorrow. That is the reason the Bible warns us to daily search ourselves so as to continue the spiritual exercise of separation. Unfortunately many long-time Christians and Christian ministers are majestically marching straight into eternity without realizing that the devil has implanted some ungodliness, uncleanness or worldliness into their lives, because they fail to exercise daily spiritual checking for separation.

DEVOTION
Salvation in Christ is the beginning of new life as the foundation of our faith, separation is your commitment to settle your new life and devotion is your consecration to God to seal your new life in Christ Jesus. Devotion unto God involves three things:

(i) Daily prayer. To maintain a victorious Christian life, you need a fervent prayer life, praying for God’s sanctification, strength and grace every day; praying for the spiritual understanding and knowledge of God to help you avoid errors. A heavenly minded Christian must spend much of his prayer time on his spiritual life, but the carnal minded Christians pray more about earthly stuff, blessings, provision, and attack against enemies. You must pray morning and evening about your new life in Jesus, let your spiritual life be your priority in your daily prayer, and every other things good will follow. Prayer strengthens us to resist the temptation of sin. Matthew 26:41. “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

(ii) Daily Bible Reading. It is a must for you to spend at least 30mins daily to read and meditate the Word of God. Don’t just read, but prayerfully read and meditate, thinking over and over the Bible passages as you read until you understand and take note. The Word of God helps us not to fall back into sin.

Psalm 119:9-11,
“How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.

The more you read and meditate the Word of God, the more you are being purified and renewed in the Lord.

NOTE: If you want to go keep in the Word of God and get clearer understanding, do not observe your daily Bible reading through phone or ipad, read from hard copy paper Bible.

(iii) WATCHFULNESS. Watchfulness is simply to work out your professed salvation with trembling and godly fear. It means to carefully apply the Word of God you read and the grace of God you receive through prayer into your daily living. That is when we become fruitful in the Lord. So that the grace we receive in prayer and the strength we receive in the Word of God will not be in vain, we must be watchful how we live our lives, how we talk, how we behave, how we response to people’s provocation, how we abstain from distance appearance of sin, how we dress, cloth we wear, the motive behind our dressing, the motive behind our desire for money, all these must be controlled by the Word of God – this is what watchfulness is all about.

Genuine repentance to salvation in Christ Jesus, total Separation from worldly and sinful things and people and complete Devotion unto God through daily prayer, Bible reading and watchfulness. These are the steps we must daily and carefully take in our journey to heaven.

“For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:8-11.

3 TYPES OF CHRISTIANS
There are three types of Christians and preachers today and only one of these three are doing it right, the two others are either ignorantly missing it or willingly making themselves messengers of Satan. Let’s look at these types of Christians from the Bible:
2 Chronicles 1:11, “ Then God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king”

1, PROSPERITY CHRISTIANS & PREACHERS - … asked riches or wealth or honor. 2 Chronicles 1:11
This type of Christians and their ignorant preachers focus more in their prayers and preaching on earthly riches, wealth and temporal honor. These ignorant preachers spend more of their preaching and prayer time on how to be rich, prospered, succeed and make it in life; they take earthly prosperity first and make the kingdom of God last, if at all they have the time. These are the preacher who spend more time on preaching earthly riches, breakthrough, favour, success, abundant blessings, earthly glory of blessing, and they feed their Goat-Christian members with these junks , they also go ahead to make foolishness of their Christian lives.

I was listening to a message of one these prosperity preachers – "Bishop" Oyedepo, inside a hired car, and I was disturbed by how this man was misinterpreting and misquoting the scriptures, watering them down and misleading the simple. When he mentioned SANCTIFICATION, I was like, “wow, this man also preach sanctification” but by the time he would interpret it, everything centered on earthly breakthrough and blessings.

The prosperity Christians and their Satan’s anointed preachers center the majority of their times, prayers, fasting and preaching on earthly blessings and breakthrough, these are the goat-Christians and wolf preachers. The more they pray and preach on earthly blessings, the more their minds are far from heaven and the less they prepare for rapture and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

2, PROBLEMATIC CHRISTIANS - …… the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life. 2 Chronicles 1:11
This is another satanic manipulated type of Christians and preachers, they are the type who focus more on prayer of “Fall down and die” of their enemies, they focus more on deliverance from satanic oppression than sinful nature, they pray and preach like never before on problems of life than progress to heaven. This type of preachers believe they have deliverance ministry, and what is the deliverance all about? Is it deliverance from sin and great tribulation and great judgment of God? NO, their type of deliverance is all about from problems of life, enemies of progress, and so on.

So these preachers and their followers can fast and pray for 100 days, they can hold vigil continuously for a month, and what do they pray and fast about? They pray that the hereditary curse in their family to die than they pray that the adamic, sinful nature in their lives should die; they pray that the enemies in their father’s and mother’s house should die than they pray for the sinners in their family to die. Problematic ministry is another end-time distraction of Satan, which he packaged for many ignorant Christians and preachers as so called “deliverance ministry”.

The more these people focus their prayers and preaching on problems of life, the more they dis-focus from the real enemy of their souls and so they miss it; the more they pray against forces of enemies, the more they are afraid of them, and the less they overcome them, and so they never stop praying and fasting against forces of darkness oppressing their lives, because they are never free.

3, PRIORITY RIGHT CHRISTIANS - …. but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king” 1 Chronicles 1:11

These are the type of Christians who set their priority right, they seek the kingdom of God first, in their daily prayer, in their joint prayer, and in their preaching, they seek the kingdom of God, they seek to prepare for the kingdom, they pray for the salvation and edification of souls than they pray against their enemies, they pray and fast on their spiritual lives and for their spiritual journey to heaven than they pray for earthly blessings or against enemies. These are the type of Christians approved by God, they are the wise virgins in these end time.

You know what? Little consciousness of heaven, little preaching and prayer for heaven, or fire brigade altar call for salvation will not take you or your followers to heaven, if you really want to make heaven and help others to make heaven, your 100 percent focus, passion, prayer and preaching must be for heaven, and God of heaven will faithfully add the additional to your life and ministry.

Genuine deliverance and victory over evil forces does not come by continuous or daily prayer against enemies or by prayer of “fall down and die” or by focusing on such prayer, you can check those who are in such ministry or system, they are never delivered, they are never free from enemies; they can pray and fast for 100 days, but they are never free, they never stop praying to be free, they never believed they are free, and they never re-direct their prayer and preaching on heavenly things.

Don’t be among the ignorant in this end time, don’t be among the foolish virgins; be wise and be warned.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

HOW PASTORS ARE MISLEADING SINGLES INTO MARRIAGE
I was reading online sometimes about what a popular pastor in Nigeria, pastor Adeboye, advised single sisters and brother in his church – RCCG. Reading through the pieces of advices, I am so much concerned how he and many pastors in different churches are misleading and destroying the glorious marital future of many Christian singles. Most of the counsels these pastors are giving their singles brothers and sisters are actually canceling their marital future and many are so ignorant by taking such canceling-life advices and live the rest of their lives to regret it.

One of the advices he gave single sisters is that if a man does not have a job or a steady income, sisters should not marry such a man. The question is that what if the man has a good and steady job and after marriage he loses the job, are they going to divorce? What if God is leading the sister to marry the jobless brother and go ahead for their wedding as God is leading them by faith, will the sister say NO because the brother does not have a job? Does that mean it is only marital aspect we cannot apply faith in Christian life? This is how many sisters are missing their God’s ordained husbands.

Such counsel is not only anti-faith but also anti-biblical. He quoted Bible by saying God had already given Adam job in the Garden of Eden before giving him Eve. Such Bible reference is wrong and inaccurate because it looks as if God first created Adam, and then created Garden of Eden then gave Eve to Adam. No! God had already created the Garden of Eden before He even created Adam.

According to Pastor Adeboye’s advice, single sisters should not walk by faith when it comes to marital decision, but they should walk by what they can only see. Who knows the future, except God? There are many who had good jobs last year, who had steady and steaming income before they got married but are now jobless and dependent on their wives. So if you follow such advice of walking by sight, you will miss God’s plan for your life and live to regret it.

BIBLICAL COUNSELS FOR CHRISTIAN SINGLES
Here is the right biblical advice I have for every single sister: Do not include having a job or having a steady income in the list of what a man you want to marry must have. You must have in your list as the man must be genuinely saved and be the will of God, but never include having a job or steady income in your list, if you do, you will be deceived by the devil and miss it.

I am talking from the light of God’s word and from my personal experience:

From God’s Word – The Bible says a Just shall live by faith, it also says we should walk by faith not by sight; it says we should not be moved by what we see but by what we cannot see - God's leading cannot be physically seen, but it's sure. Only the people of the world are moved by what they see, only a worldly pastor will advise singles to walk by sight. Because what you see – the good job or no-job are temporal. I have been counseling several married sisters who are languishing in terrible marriages, and these husbands still have good jobs.

From my personal experience: When I was single, I attempted marital relationships with some sisters which didn’t work out, most of the reasons was because I had no job, no source of income, no accommodation, yet God was leading me into marriage, because God works in different ways to glorify Himself. These sisters rejected me, some their parents or pastors discouraged them and disqualified me. Does that means none of those sisters were the will of God for me? No, but when someone rejects God’s will, God will replace her. I remember a lady I was going into relationship with, and she took me to her uncle who was a pastor. The uncle was like, “whaaaat? You have no job, no business, no accommodation, and you want to marry? Is that what your Bible teaches you?

I really understood my poor financial situation but I was walking by faith as God was leading me, so I didn't care. When I met my wife, she agreed to marry me. As I was busy doing the work of evangelism free of charge, she was supporting me financially. When I wanted to meet her parents, she gave me money for transport, to buy new T-shirt and to buy a fruit wine which I presented to the father. Her family accepted me as I was though they knew the consequence of my financial lack in marriage, but they believed a good future for us by faith.

God helped me, as a Christian sister borrowed me some amount of money 2 days to the wedding which I used some to rent an abandoned shop in Lagos, with no electricity, no toilet, no bath room, even the door had no key. We had no source of income and no job. Nothing except the ministry God had given us. That was how we started our lives together. Obviously, many churches wouldn't have allowed such marriage, including the holiness church and those who claim to preach faith. It’s not about being stupid or foolish; it is about following God’s leading. You see, it’s easy to say “If God asks me to face a red sea, I will obey” but when the reality comes; it is not easy to obey.

In these 4 years of our marriage, God has blessed us to the extent that it is difficult to connect our humble beginning with our present. God has blessed us with two children, with company of our own; we have workers working with us as we still continue in free-of-charge evangelical ministry, all without any connection or huge amount of money but only by faith and obedience to God. Sometimes, when I look at the house we are living now or when I am driving, some questions usually come to my mind:

1, What if my wife and I delay our wedding, waiting for me to get a job, not knowing what God has for us in this blessed marriage?

2, What if my wife had followed advice of pastors that a man must have a job or steady income before accepting to marry him?

3, Can I ever do enough to appreciate my wife or which family members or friends will tell me I’m doing too much for my wife who started with me in one abandoned shop, who accepted to marry with no job or income against the advice of “Daddy GO” and marriage counselors? Will our children not ever be grateful to their mother who accepted to marry their father when he had nothing? Surely they will ever appreciate her.

God makes all things work together for good. God used my poor financial situation then to marry a virtuous woman, not a calculating “sister” of a carnal pastor.

MY CONCLUSION: 2 IMPORTANT THINGS IN CHOOSING A MARITAL PARTNER
When it comes marital decision, don’t walk by sight and don’t be stupid, but be sure of God’s will and forget about the rest, either the man has no job or the sister cannot pray for 1 hour; either the person is from your church or another church, either the person is short or tall, fat or slim, educated or illiterate, from your tribe or another tribe, can cook well or does not know how to cook, the 2 important things are firstly, the person must be a genuine child of God. And how will you know? The Bible says by their fruits you will know them. Secondly, the person must be the will of God for you. You must pray and be sure this person is God’s will for you to marry because you cannot marry every child of God, but the one God has destined for you. Don’t miss these!

AWARD WINNING MINISTRY VS SOUL WINNING MINISTRY
Some years back I was talking with a gospel music singer and she told me of several awards her album has won, I felt like what does winning awards has to do with Christian ministry? When does Christian ministration become a center for winning earthly or secular awards?

It baffles me when I watch a Christian movie and it’s advertised as award winning Christian movie, or when I enter a minister’s office and I see it decorated with several awards, or when I see a gospel songs tagged with winning awards, what does spiritual ministration has to do with winning earthly award? Or rather what is the correlation between winning souls and winning award?

In this generation of majority of Christian goats and wolf ministers, it is more impressive for a Christian movie, music or book to be tagged or advertised as an award winning than a soul winning.

Imagine, Elijah waving an award he receives from king Ahab as the best prophetic minister of the year. Imagine Apostle Peter and Paul being handed an award from the representative of Scribe or Roman Empire as the best influential ministers of God of the year. How will that sound to you?

When does Christian ministry becomes a contest or a show or a secular stuff where they begin to compare themselves with one another and giving award? Who are the people that give awards to Christian ministries or Christian ministers? I read on newspaper saying “The best pastor of the year” With what yardstick do they use to give the award? Who is the Judge of Christian ministry or ministers apart from God? When the Bible says what is highly esteemed before men are abomination to God. Those who award Christian ministry or ministers are committing evil of usurpation of God’s throne, and those who receive the carnal awards are not only disqualifying themselves as genuine ministers of the gospel but they are also making void of their God’s given ministry.

Apostle Paul boasted of salvation of souls, edification of souls, grace of God, persecution and sufferings his ministry passed through, but today’s ministers are boasting of awards, population, popularity and properties their ministries are winning. Are we going to the same heaven?

MY DAMAGED CAR BUMPER
Some months ago, my wife and I with our little boy were coming from work in the evening, as I drove close to our street’s around-about, we met a long hold-up traffic, just as I was driving out of the traffic, I saw this Okada guy (commercial motor cycle rider) riding roughly, waved from the car in front of me and seriously hit our car in the front. The motorcycle rolled away as the guy tumbled and fell down somewhere. I decided to park from the road, not to block other vehicles coming. I saw my car’s bumper completely damaged.

For me go and meet the Okada guy who was lying on the road with his bike, I was surprised that the guy had vanished with his motorcycle, his colleagues helped him to escaped, knowing fully well that he had bought a market he didn't plan for which he might not be able to afford. I managed driving the car home and took it to workshop the following day to change the bumper and the small light, the expenses I didn't budge for.

THE OFFENDED AND THE OFFENDER
I wasn't happy with the situation that happened as the guy damaged my car and escaped without saying “sorry” thinking that he was smart and putting me in additional expenses I didn't budge for, but what do I want? Do I want God to provide for me and replenish my pocket more in 100 folds of what I spent to repair the car or I want God to punish the okada guy who damaged my car in 100 fold? Or I want both? This I was meditating and God used the incident to teach me this valuable lesson…..

Prosperity Or Punishment?
When somebody tenderly or terribly offends you, and you are painfully affected, what is the outermost desire of your heart, do you want God to replenish your loss and prosper you even more than before as you move on with your life and forget about the offense with the offender as you move on to enjoy the joy and multiple blessings of God, or the outermost desire of your mind is for God to punish the offender that she or he will regret it in life forever for what she or her did to you as you stay somewhere in bitterness and unforgiveness, waiting for the news of calamity from the offender? If God should choose the top desire of your heart when you are offended, is it going to be the prosperity and progress of your own dear life or punishment of your enemy or the person who hurts you?

Unfortunately, many Christians are after God to punish their offenders than for God to prosper and replenish their lost, boasting, “Except if I am not serving a living God, you will see.....” And what do you stand to gain to see your offender becoming miserable? I heard a not-funny story of pastor’s wife in her neighborhood, her neighbor offended her and she was seriously hurt, though she didn’t want to raise her voice and begin to curse as her old way of life before she became converted, yet she was so hurt in her feeling that she didn’t just want to let go, so she said, “Oh except if I am not serving a true God, except if you didn’t hurt me, that my God will not ruin and destroy your life, that He will not scatter your life in pieces…..” The woman ended up raising curses on her neighbor in the name of God.

The Replenish mentality VS Revenge Mentality
Sometimes, God allows some losses to come our ways so He can use the occasion to multiply us and replenish our losses even in 100 folds, but many times we do not key in to gain God plans to unleash His blessings on us after the loss, we are after the revenge of the offender because of our old mentality.

When someone unlawfully breaks away from you in business, maybe your worker or partner, when someone breaks away from you in marital relationship, in ministry or in anyway, what is your outermost desire? Is it for God to replenish and multiply you as you move on from the spot the person left you? Or that God should punish the person who unlawfully breaks away and become miserable that he or she will come back begging you as you remain in the same spot, tied down by bitterness and unforgiveness in the same spot?

When Lot unlawfully broke away from Abraham with the best portion, thinking he was smart, what was God’s concern for Abraham? Did God tell Abraham, “My son, don’t worry I will punish Lot, and he will regret what he did, he will know you have a great God who called you out from your father’s house.” No, God did not say that to Abraham, because God knows Abraham has nothing to gain from the punishment of Lot, but God told Abraham:

“And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. 16 And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.” Genesis 13:14-16.

That is the mind of God for all His children, how He will replenish and multiply us when we have a loss, when someone offends us, when people unlawfully break away from us in business, in marital relationship, in ministry or in anyway; and this mind of God for greater replenishment should also be our mentality, not for revenge. We should repent from every bitterness or unforgiveness as a result of evil or loss anybody caused us, and trust God to use every occasion to work for our betterment. We should also pray for the offenders and break-away people that God should save them just as Abraham prayed for Lot –

Genesis 18:23-33, we should wait on the Lord for their salvation, not waiting for calamity to befall them. We may not need them in our lives again, (especially if you are not married the person) but as we go on our different paths, we should desire good news from both sides. That was the mentality of Abraham.

The mind of God is that we should pray for our enemies, those who despitefully used us with our finance, with our time resources, in marriage or in anyway, as we do this God will cause replenishment and refreshment into our lives and cause repentance to the offender, and only the devil will be the looser. Amen!

DO NOT MARRY OUTSIDE YOUR FATHER’S TRIBE
This is not an advice or a warning; it is a command for all children of God who are single waiting to marry.

“This is what the LORD commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them marry whom they think best, but they may marry only within the family of their father’s tribe.’” Numbers 36:6

If you are a child of God through genuine salvation in Christ Jesus, then your Father is God and you are His child, you belong to the redeemed tribe of God through Jesus Christ. And when you want to marry either a brother or a sister, you must not marry outside the redeemed and regenerated tribe of God.

Everybody on earth has two different fathers, either God as Father or Satan, and we all belong to two different tribe – the regenerated tribe of God or sinful tribe of Satan.

As a child of God, if you marry a man or woman who is not genuinely born again and living a new life in Christ, it means you are marrying someone from another tribe of another type of father, Satan who is going to become your father in-law and it means anytime your father in-law visits you, you are trouble.

If you are in a relationship with someone who tells even little lies, it means you are preparing to get married from a tribe of lies, and the father of lies and all liars is Satan who will become your father in-law.

If you are in a marital relationship with someone who likes worldly fashion, it means you are getting married to the tribe of worldliness, and Satan is the father and will be your father in-law, and because of the spirit of worldliness, such marriage will be worldly and wasted.

If you are in a marital relationship with someone who is seducing you or demanding premarital sex, or who doesn’t see anything wrong in premarital sex, it means you are setting to marry from another tribe of Satan. When you please someone to give premarital sex in a marital relationship, the same person will displease you after marriage to give extra-marital sex to another person outside.

Any church or denomination which insists that their single brothers and sisters must marry in their church is teaching unbiblical phenomenon, except if such denomination can biblical prove that only their church members alone are children of God and all other Christians from other churches are sinners – that will be extreme heresy. Bible does not command Christians to marry in a particular denomination, but only in the Lord.

Do not marry from the tribe of Satan, do not marry a worldly Christian, a gentle sinful Christian, a nice, beautiful worldly lady, a sinner-Christian, a sinner-Christian worker, an immoral-pastor, these are two contradictory words and it leads to contradiction in marriage.

Prayerfully and patiently wait for God’s perfect will for your life. God bless you

Luke 17:35, "Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.”

If you miss your booked flight at the Airport, you can wait for another flight, but there is a flight you must not miss, because it will happen once, that is the flight of the rapture to heaven; it is called the catching away of the saints by Jesus. This rapture will happen within seconds when the angel of God will blow the trumpet…in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound. 1 Corinthians 15:52. There will be sudden disappearance of Christians who have experienced genuine salvation, who have opened up their secret sins, settled needed restitution and living in holiness and righteousness from the blemishes of the world till the seconds of the rapture.

Many people will be left behind throughout the world; many Christians will be left behind also, why? Because they are not well prepared. The left behind at the flight of the rapture will be left to blight of the Anti-Christ and eternal doom; that will be devastating and destructive occurrence which never happens since the beginning of the world. This unprecedented occurrence can happen any seconds from now without any warning or feeling of awareness.

If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord, you are at the danger of being left behind to the mercy of Satan, If you are postponing your salvation, you are in serious danger; you need to surrender your life to Jesus now. if you are a Christian and toiling with sins, rising and falling, you need to rededicate your life to Jesus totally now! If you have been saved, serving God but there are some little worldliness in your lifestyles or unconfesed sin, or inconsistency in your Bible reading, prayer life, Christian life, or unforgiving people you have ignored, or unsettled restitution, you may also be among the left behind group, you need to surrender and settle all now. It may happen right when you are angry or getting involved in something sinful, and that is the end. You need to totally surrender all, every area of your life to Jesus and at all time, because the rapture will happen within seconds and there will not be second chance for rapture.

Many senior pastors and big ministers of God will be left behind, many church leaders, workers and many Christians will be left behind, and all unbelievers will be dazed, at last, it will happen! If at the moment you are reading this message rapture has not happened, then you have the chance to make the rapture. Without delay, you need to surrender all to Jesus, if you are a believer, you need to check your life and surrender all, no sin is too small to hold you down not to make the rapture, even if your big pastors do not oppose it, even if you have reasons to support yourself, even if everybody is doing it. Don't be fooled, don't be arrogant or defensive at this time, just surrender all to Jesus, because He is coming any moment from now. You must leave behind your sins, sinful partners, materials and gains so that you will not be left behind. You have a choice: leave all behind for Jesus now, let the people and world leave you behind or you are left behind at the rapture?

Matthew 25:13, ““Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”

HOW TO CHECK IF YOU ARE UNDER WRONG MINISTRATIONS

Do you have a Sermon Note Book in which you write down messages in your church? Then check the last 10 messages of your church or 10 CD of your favorite preacher; if majority of the messages and sermons center on earthly blessings, breakthrough, deliverance from enemies of life, promises of prosperity and such prayers, more than messages of holiness, purity and preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ - if such is the case with you, then you have been feeding on the leaven and loaves of Pharisees for your destruction.

If at least 7 out of 10 messages of your church or favorite preachers are all about earthly blessings and breakthrough, then you are feeding under wrong ministrations; they are strategically preparing you to miss heaven and enlist you as candidate of hell fire.

HE HEARD SOUNDS OF PEOPLE SCREAMING IN HELL
Do you know why Jacques Costeau, the famous underwater explorer, quit deep sea diving sometime before he died? It is said that he stopped because he had heard in one of the underwater caves he was exploring, the sounds of people screaming.

There was also another time, when one of his men, who was in a diving bell in the deepest trench at the Bermuda Triangle, also had a similar experience. He signalled to be brought up immediately. After being revived from his shock, he told others of his frightening experience of hearing people's screams while under the deepest part of the sea.

Millions of careless souls are rushing to hell daily, eternity of damnation, don't be among them. Surrender to Jesus and live your life to please Him before it gets too late.

MORE THAN 160 REFERENCES IN NEW TESTAMENT ALONE WARN OF HELL.

The Bible continually warns of a place called hell. There are over 162 references in the New Testament alone which warns of hell. And over 70 of these references were uttered by the Lord Jesus Christ! And you think preaching prosperity, love in sin, motivational messages, miracles, breakthrough or deliverance from poverty are more important?

In Luke 16, Jesus Christ gives a frightening picture of hell:
22 . . . the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. (Luke 16:22-28)

And these pastors, motivational speakers and preachers today preach of prosperity and earthly things, they warn people of dangers of not paying tithes, of not giving, about dangers of not paying first-fruits, dangers of not sowing seeds, even dangers of poverty, but hardly warn of eternal dangers of hell. It's because they don't care for your soul.

If you go to a church or listen to a preacher like 5 times without warning you of the eternal judgment of hell, it means they are already warming you up for hell.

PHYSICAL BEAUTY
In the book of Proverbs 31: 30, the Bible says, “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.” If you are single and you are still overwhelmed with single exorbitance, this Bible verse will not make any sense to you, you will feel like, “No oh, beauty is something to me o, I want to marry a beautiful woman, that is my longtime dream.” Or “I want to marry a handsome man; in fact I can’t marry less than that.” And you even quote Bible to back it up, that God gives good things to His children. You know what? To the single, beauty is something or everything, but to the married, beauty is nothing.

If you see a beautiful lady or a handsome young man, and you are attracted to the person for marital relationship, because of the beauty, you know what? You are under the influence of single ignorance which will soon clear from your eyes when you get into it.

Physical beauty has nothing to do with a good or happy marriage. If physical beauty has anything to contribute to happy marriage, why do celebrities who spend their livelihood on beauty have more divorce rate? Why do most men with beautiful wives still cheat on their wives or abuse them physically or verbally? It is simply because physical beauty has nothing to do with having a good marriage, and just as the Bible says in Proverbs 31:30 that beauty is passing – meaning the impression that the beauty of person has on you will shortly pass away in marriage and you will face the reality.
