Type C or Type D visa will be okay for you.
Business purpose you will be needing a company invitation from Ukraine. If you don't have that just apply for tourist visa.
You have to make your case very solid because the rate of refusal recently is very high.

Best of luck

Hello everyone ....this platform has been my source of information for years . I don’t use any agent for my visa application as all the information I need is here . I came across this platform in 2009 when my first UK visa application was refused . I reapplied in 2010 using all the info here and my application was approved. I came back again for information for my US visa application which was also approved .
My family and I decided to apply for Canadian visa April this year and I came back again to read up on people’s experiences and documents needed for paper application .
Long story short,We put together our documents and submitted our application 10th of June .
I subsequently updated it online as read on this platform on 30th of June . Checked online this morning to discover that our applications are approved .
I’ve seen some comments on this platform that family visa is a no for Canadian embassy . It’s not true as it took less than a month . And I don’t think we put any document out of the ordinary . I wish you all expecting a feedback from them good luck

Does my statement of account not cover the inviting party part?

smartiz007:
As for the Ukraine Tourism Visa, you would need the following:

A Passport quality photo in digital format

Scan of passport page

Proof of funds:

A document confirming hotel reservation or payment for accommodation and dining in Ukraine;
agreement for tourist services (voucher);

A letter of guarantee from the inviting party, that it undertakes the commitments on payment of all costs relating to the foreigner's stay in and exit from the territory of Ukraine;

A fixed date ticket for return to the state of nationality or to the state of permanent residence or to the third state.

Travel insurance with your full name, valid at Ukraine or Europe, with a coverage of at least 30000 Euro or its equivalent in other currency.

All the best.

Can they sponsor themselves without your money?
No, the husband only has 300k residual cash for the trip
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by frickyjohn: 1:46pm On Jun 12, 2019
Thank you

Jyyes:
That’s a kind gesture. However, I don’t think they will be approved for visa, for reasons that as a couple that wants to visit the U.K., they are expected to be financially strong enough to undertake the trip without a sponsor. Lodging an amount that is unusual in his account is a red flag, sponsoring a couple who do not have strong ties (i.e, business, properties, reasonable savings in bank) in their home country is also a red flag. As a married couple at the age of 30 and above, the VO expect you to meet certain criteria, which is being independent at all level. It gives the VO’s reasons to believe that their economic circumstances in Nigeria does not meet the requirements for an entry clearance, hence if giving the opportunity to enter the U.K. they will likely not leave at the end of their intended visit. I think sponsorship works better for young people 25 years and below, and old people 55 and above.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by frickyjohn: 8:50am On Jun 12, 2019
Hello @justwise steel101 and all the expert in the house.

I have a couple who I am not related to in anyway. They have been nice to me in church and I in turn wants to sponsor their honeymoon in the UK with 3Million naira.

My question is
1. can I just give them the money sent to their account.
2. Give them my 3 or 6 months statement of account and a cover letter stating that I am sponsoring the trip as a gift to them.
3. What are their chances of getting the visa since the husband can only afford about 300k on his own to spend on this trip.
4. Sending the money to the husband account might raise a red flag since he might not have enough convincing proof to defend that huge funds to his account.

I really want to make their martial journey sweet.

Mr Integrity still remains the Honorable Minister of Petroleum

TheLogicalMind:
The nation’s refineries suffered huge losses in the first four years of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as they were left in a state of disrepair, ’FEMI ASU writes

Federal Government-owned refineries, located in Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Warri, lost over N231bn in the last four years as the proposed rehabilitation of the plants suffered a setback.

The Port Harcourt Refining Company has two refineries, while the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company and the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company have one each.

The refineries lost N34.57bn from June to December 2015; N8.64bn in 2016 (data for January to August showed); N47.19bn in 2017, and N132.51bn in 2018, according to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.

When President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office on May 29, 2015, all the refineries were not processing crude oil, with Port Harcourt refinery sitting idle since January of that year while Warri and Kaduna stopped refining in February of the same year, according to available data from the NNPC.

In 2015, Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Warri refineries were idle for eight months, seven months and nine months, respectively, losing N10.05bn, N36.03bn and N21.39bn.

Warri refinery was idle for five months in 2016; KRPC did not refine crude for six months, and PHRC was only idle in September.

In 2017, Kaduna, Warri and Port Harcourt refineries were idle for six, five and two months, respectively, losing N32.61bn, N22.14bn and N11.51bn.

Kaduna refinery did not process crude oil for 11 months in 2018, while Port Harcourt and Warri were idle for seven and three months respectively, losing N31bn, N59.96bn and N41.71bn.

According to the latest data from the NNPC, Kaduna and Port Harcourt refineries remained idle in January this year.

The refineries have a combined installed capacity of 445,000 barrels per day but have continued to operate far below the installed capacity for many years.

The NNPC had planned to rehabilitate the refineries in order to attain a minimum of 90 per cent capacity utilisation, using third-party financiers and the original refinery builders to provide the requisite funding and technical support.

The corporation, its transaction advisers and an inter-ministerial team on refineries rehabilitation, were said to have reviewed expressions of interest from 28 potential financiers.

But after over one and half years, the negotiations with financiers stalled in December 2018 due to varying positions on key commercial terms.

The NNPC said it had abandoned the strategy of seeking offshore funding due to ‘onerous conditions’ demanded by the proposed financiers.

It said it had to resort to immediate direct funding from internal cash flows and debt financing from the financial markets for the rehabilitation project.

On March 21, 2019, the corporation announced the commencement of the first phase of the rehabilitation of the 210,000 bpd capacity Port Harcourt Refinery complex, comprising the 60,000 bpd old refinery built in 1965 and the 150,000bpd new refinery inaugurated in 1989.

It said the project would be executed by Milan-based Maire Tecnimont S.p.A, in collaboration with its Nigerian affiliate, Tecnimont Nigeria.

The Group Managing Director, NNPC, Dr Maikanti Baru, was quoted as saying that at the end of phase 1, the refinery complex should be able to reach 60 per cent capacity utilisation.

The national oil firm said the first phase of the rehabilitation contract, which would run for six months, would involve detailed integrity check and equipment inspection of the Port Harcourt refinery complex beginning from the end of March 2019.

How the f*ck did refineries that didn't generate money lose this much. 231Billion that's like more than what Osun state got for 4 years.

The kind of corruption going on in the Oil and Gas industry is legendary
