It has its disadvantages too like the amount you spend on power monthly will be high and outrageous rent
It has no disadvantage if you have card meter. It is pay as you go. You can switch it off and on it at your desired time.

PoliticsBuhari Personally Negotiated Lagos-calabar Rail Project Funding – Osinbajo by FriendNG(op): 5:18pm On Jun 02, 2017
The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari personally re-negotiated the funding of the Lagos-Calabar rail project under the China-Exim loan agreement.

Osinbajo, who departed Calabar on Friday after a two-day working visit to the state, had during a town hall meeting with stakeholders on Thursday, said the Federal Government was desirous of assisting the state after ceding of Bakassi to Cameroon.

He also disclosed that the Odukpani-Ikot Ekpene road was captured in the 2017 budget, adding that the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Uguru Usani, was also pressing for the reconstruction of the Calabar-Ogoja Road.

He promised that issues of militancy in the Bakassi region raised by stakeholders during the town hall meeting would be addressed by the Federal Government.

Osinbajo said, “The ceding of Bakassi as a result of the judgment of the International Court of Justice is a development that we all consider a loss. But the President strongly believes that while we ruminate over the legal issues we must not allow Nigerian citizens in Ikang and elsewhere to suffer.

“The Federal Government will certainly do more and engage more with the displaced in Bakassi. This is our duty and our commitment. We will also thoroughly investigate the issues you have raised on the relationship between the military, the militants and the people of Bakassi.

“The Federal Government is certainly interested in Cross Rivers and the President himself re-negotiated the China-Exim loan for the Lagos-Calabar rail.

“In our budget this year, we have provided for the Odukpani/Ikot-Ekpene road and I also know that the Hon. Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru has been negotiating for the Calabar/Ogoja Road.

“There are other environmental projects that this government is working on, am sure you must have heard of the work we are doing in Adiabo-Okrikang Erosion Control, Eastern Naval Command Erosion Control Project Phase 1, among others,” he said.

Osinbajo stressed that the vision of the Buhari-led administration was to partner with state governments to create industrial, commercial and professional opportunities for the citizens.

He commended Governor Ben Ayade for the vision of opening a garment factory to address immediate job creation.

He said, “The vision of our President for our Nation is one where the Federal Government partners with the states to create industrial, commercial and professional opportunities for all our citizens.

“The business of government is to ensure that we facilitate trade, facilitate commerce, facilitate the professions and that is exactly what we are going to do and what we are doing in the next few months and in the next few years to ensure that we are able to provide all of the opportunities that are necessary.

“And that is why I commend the state government on the garment factory. That factory is an outstanding example of how to provide jobs very quickly to a large number of people and I hope that will be replicated in different states of the federation.”

BTW, the letter was written in your imagination. so you believe a state government would write such letter.
Mtsw: Yes the letter was read before the house signed by the governor. I don't like foolishness.

The House resolved to drop the probe following a plea through a letter by the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, which was read by the speaker, Kabiru Alhassan Rirum, on the floor of the House

In his letter, Governor Ganduje said he was calling for the investigation to be dropped as a result of interventions by highly-placed personalities in the matter.

These personalities, according to the letter, include the acting president, Yemi Osinbajo; party leaders; former heads of state Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar; Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar; and businessmen and indigenes of the state, Aliko Dangote and Aminu Dantata.

first, there nobody by that name in the OP .it's just an ipob/PDP conspiracy.

secondly, the man at the center of this conspiracy is an Igbo man and he's very qualified.

third , there is no evidence that osinbajo ordered sanusis probe to be dropped. it's just an imagination of the writer. you all beli osinbajo is a powerless commissioner, how did he have the power to stop a northern state to drop a probe? are you not shooting yourself in the foot?

we all know this is just a starter to the propaganda ahead of 2019 so sheat your sword we all know the drill. and for your info, your atiku can never defeat osinbajo in 2019.

The letter which involves the name of Osinbanjo as among those saving Sunusi was written and signed by Kano State Governor and the speaker of Kano state read it before the Assembly.

Who are the speculators now? Kano State Governor or the speaker? Has Osinbanjo deny it.

You're rather the speculator that Osinbanjo did not support corruption.

You still don't understand the concept of fairness in running a country or institution, why should fairness be based on friendship? No wonder all the government agency jobs go to the unqualified, because they are the ones with "friends in power". I get you now.

We really do have a problem in this country with this kind of thinking. Quite unfortunate.
Channel that question to the Nigerian constitution. Majority carry the vote. If you cannot get the majority then you will be left out. You support me and I support you, dax the national assembly.

That's not true. It was the first time the sponsor wasn't around. He later presented it and the bill was still turned down.
This whole thing will snowball eventually at this rate.
Then the bill was turn down. Why? Majority are against it. Why? You have no friends, you build walls and insult others.

Every part of the country is entitled to development. Stop hiding under the guise of "not building bridges" to support an unfair act.
The SE is still a part of Nigeria at this current moment, still contributes to its coffers, and so should be entitled to what any other region is entitled to.

That is fairness. One of the key things lacking in this country.
I agree with you every part deserve fairness but this was done in National Assembly. And it is a matter of majority, you build bridges with other even before you move the motion. But happen? The sponsor of the motion wasn't even present.

Buhari never cleared Bababachir Lawan he only said He cannot sack him bcux the report lack balance from his side. He wasn't given a fair hearing. And the Senate committee admitted that also by later inviting him which he refuses to appear but that was now.

Osinbanjo the head of the economy and as well as the Ag. devalue the Naira leading us to recession.

Magu is innocent, allegations doesn't mean anything. Present your allegation before court. What did PYO did? He blocked an investigation of corruption in Kano.

Or we are now learning, the Yoruba shouldn't be trusted. Northerners are the most truthful set of People in Nigeria, we don't hide anything, we are always clear about our points.

Buhari has achieved the ultimate price of bringing peace in the North about the Boko Haram insurgency

I'm Yoruba I hope u know that? You know for sure if not for Federal Character, the Southerners would dominate the entire political and economic sphere because they are more competent and well read than Northerners.

Tell them to invest in Education and build schools than building mosque up and down.
You're Yoruba and so what? The competent people like Kemi Adeosun, Yemi Osinbanjo who led us to recession or competent like Emmanuel kachiwu ? You are far from being competent. There is no position in this country without Federal Character that a northerner cannot hold.

Mr Man stop pouring spit all over this thread, I am not supporting Osinbajo but all these allegations is mere speculations. What do you know, you think you are brilliant enough? Why didn't you join them as an economic team member?

If true about the appointments, I think that's nepotism even though he appointed other Southerners asides Yoruba's but the ratio of Yoruba to other southerners is too much on the side of Yorubas. Northerners barely have anything to offer intellectually anyway, so I don't blame him for not appointing any Northerner. All they rely on is Federal character over competency.
Shut the red sense organ in your mouth. There is nothing, I repeat nothing that a southerner is competent at, without a corresponding northerner that can do the job exactly or even better.

Your only problem with his recent appointment is Yoruba to other southerners ratio and not the North - South balance that you have been wailing on before.

You don't blame Osinbanjo for this but you can blame Buhari for Marginalization despite there was none. Hypocrite.

We shall see @ the polls.
PoliticsRe: Dr. Ismaila Farouk Blasts Osinbajo; Says He’s No Saint by FriendNG: 4:38am On Jun 02, 2017
Yoruba you want Osinbanjo to be President, so be it. Every person will want his tribeman to lead the nation and that's nature because we human are selfish and individualist. I don't blame you for that.

But some of you are hypocrites: Osinbanjo has done nothing good that you're praising him. Please if He has, tell me one?

1. Who devalued the Naira ? Osinbanjo

2. Who lead the Nigerian economy into recession ? Osinbanjo

3. Who support corruption regarding Sunusi's case ? Osinbanjo

4. Whose appointment is 99% his fellow southerners? Osinbanjo

The hypocrites are still praising him for these

You want him to be President? Yes! Fine and good. Give him all your necessary support but we won't accept lies of invisible achievement.

Secondly be ready to fight a no winning war from the north 4 that Presidential seat of power.

For the Sanusi probe, I think Buhari would do far worse but just not openly. I'm still not convinced Osibanjo played an active role in getting the probe stopped. To what benefit exactly? What would he gain by doing so?
You're capital wrong. Buhari will not say anything on Sunusi probe. He will even balance as He enjoyed the probe.

Pls how many bridges did North East build after bombing their places to middle age cos of Islam?
Your problem is that young generations of Igbo people have refused to kowtow to whims and caprices of "born to rule" feudalists.

From 1999 till 2015, we have supported all presidential candidates other people brought, even leaving ours, and what we get is "we don't build bridges", we can never be subdued, fvck your bridges.

Kicking out SEDC doesn't stop diseases that the world had forgotten to be ravaging other "privileged" enclaves, neither does it bridge the gap of human development index that is on the back footing in other enclaves compared to ours.
The only thing it may delay is building PortHarcourt road Aba, and Aba-Azumini-Ikotekpene road, it does not stop Aba fabricators from crafting dredging and agro allied machineries, it does not stop Aba fashion industries from shipping 3 million pairs of shoes outside the country weekly.

Burn the fvckng bridges, the ones we built aren't giving us any leverage whatsoever.
