i think you should take it to a good repair shop to be checked out.....*you're in lag, perhaps a good computer village recommendation could come from this thread*

i know a guy, but all he has done for me thus far is change my laptop screen constantly as i'm always breaking it..lol.....changed my harddisk once too though...

He's not like a professional but sells laptop(bought mine and a host of others from him).....perhaps if you can't find a better suggestion on here, could direct you to him and if its above him, he could get an experienced person to check it out

could be screen, bios, motherboard, a lil software prob, a prob with your boot file, amongst others so someone has to see it to know whatsup
Hi,
Could you please give me his number?
I have a couple of things he may be able to help me with.
It's hard to find reliable technicians in that market

Bro,
There's no Tab S 8.0
There's the 10.5 and the 8.4

Please what's the model number of that one and what carrier is it registered to?

What is your best price?

If your price is better than what I'm being offered by a seller on efritin.com then i'll buy from you.
But first please confirm the exact model of the tablet so we know what you're selling.

Hello.
So after reading reviews here, I went and picked up a polystar home theater from their showroom opposite Obosi plaza in alaba int'l. And I must say I'm overwhelmingly disappointed!

The sub-woofer is a total rubbish! you can't make out any clear sound from it. Just that stupid "duuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmm" sound.

Please how clear is the sound from your sub-woofer? I mean, unplug other speakers, do you hear any good sound from the sub-woofer?

I really hope this is just a faulty unit, because if this is what they've been selling to Nigerians and no one has started a "don't buy a polystar home theater " campaign then we indeed are helping to rob ourselves.

I've called the office and they promised to send someone over to come take a look.

Will update my findings and experience here.

There are some 50k offerings on jiji, but they happen to be shams.

I want to buy BlackBerry Q10. I'm in Kano i contact a guy he

Run 4 your life.
Why not buy from Kano?

If you must buy from him, then have a trusted friend who stays in his location inspect for you first. You can then send cash to your friend who'll make the purchase and mail device to you via a courier service.

Haha owerri gals r pretty and sure their bride price cost an arm and a leg. I searched ebay too but couldnt get at a reasonable price. Ended up buying mine from a dude who just returnd from U.K. Though you can get used ones at ikeja. Well I have used alot of flagships so cant really say it is the best all round. It has its strengths and equally its weakness. I love the fact that it is thin and 8.4" size is the perfect tablet for me, portability wise. I am an audiophile and coming from a htc m8, the tab s doesnt really come close. Its speakers are quite faint but that can be excused for a tab, using headphones gives a decent sound but would be found as not too great if u are an audiophile. The screen is its greatest point, best display I have seen. The ram and processor is about the best on a tab but I wish samsung could copy lg no lag technology. All Lg flagship I have used were literally impossible to lag, no mattr what I installed. This tab does lag occasionally but not too serious, I guess I just miss lg. 16gb on board memory was way too small, I had to buy a 64gb samsung sd card. The cameras are decent, great for a tab but definitely not for serious photos. Generally it is one of the best tabs out there, it floors the ipad air 2 and most Android based tab.

I forgot to add that it is great for gaming, u can get a wireless game pad if u r a game freak. Watching movies on it is very appealling. I bought mine for reading purposes and it really does excel due its size and portability.
Wow!
Thanks for taking the time to type all of that.
Very unbiased opinion.
Basically your primary gripes are the audio quality and lag.

Well I do not plan on listening to a ton of music on it, my blackberry device already has that covered.
About lag, well one thing is certain, you're right about LG devices. I used a G2 2 years ago, my brother is using a G3. Those devices are practically lagless (if that's even a word)

I also am getting the tablet primarily for reading. So I'm glad it ticks the most important boxes of all: display and portability.

Please help me stay on the lookout for one. I get the feeling you know a lot of UK returnees grin

I'd rather get the LTE variant. Most of what Ikeja has at a respectable price are Wifi-only.

Thanks again man.
I also get the feeling you have a wicked collection of books. But more about that after I've procured tablet.

Where please?
I'm currently on a hunt for that tablet.
Can't find it anywhere. Except on ebay where it costs twice as much as an Imo girl's bride price.

Also what's your experience with the tab? Do you think it's worth the cash. I'm a little strapped for cash and would hate to spend on something i'd not LOVE.

It's only applicable to school fees, some medical operations abroad etc. It used to apply to airline tickets, but i don't know if it still does. The bank helps you to buy the forex at CBN auction provided you provide proof of what you need it for, such as univ. admission letter.

The only downside is that it can take several days/weeks for the transaction to go through.
Please what bank is that?
I don't think ECOBANK does that
FamilyRe: Watch Out Parents! by frisby:
GHoJes:
I met him through someone. His type of laziness is one i couldnt help adding to the study list.
The story had it that his father was a very generous well to do man. His dad knowing who his son was wasted no time in marrying for him the first girl he brought from the school he also bought him certificate. With the little moment i spend with his mum, he didnt take me time to know he got it from her.
His wife! I never knew she was younger, preetier, more hardworking till she put to bed. The first time i saw her, i was held in awe by her jolly nature and it didnt take long before we became casual friends. She had that irresistable personality so that anyone who didnt get along with her should be the problem. She came for the money but fell in love to a fault or her situation made it so but certainly she had a faulty foundation, now she think its too late to amend. Her mistake? She saw a young man living on his fathers wealth and said yes without sparing a thought for his character. Her world cave in before her eyes not long after marriage as her father inlaw died without warning (girls mingling with penniless men because of their rich dads BE WARNED).

I knew he died the day his father died before i was told he fainted, was hospitalised on hearing his dad's exit. A man who wanted to repay his dad's kindness gave him a job but he did nothing aside sleeping at work till he got sacked. Another bought him a car yet he gives all manner of excuses why he cant use it for transportation in a city where transportation his big business instead he uses it to carry his lazy friends to nowhere. When he is done spending rents on inherited properties, he begs people his dad helped and when they get tired of handing him peanuts he curses them for being ungreatful. Even the properties are getting delapidated and people are getting scared of renting them, he just dont know how to manage them or do anything else than sleep. He has added insecurity to his laziness, he wouldnt let his wife work outside their house for fear of losing her, he wouldnt let friends come near her for fear of them talking sense into her. I fear the wife might become like him because the stronger force pulls. Laziness is best nipped in the bud.
Thank you

@ TV01 and mindfulness
... I think it might just be the burning-hot sun and insane traffic jam, because it's taking all of the intelligence I can muster to still manage to clutch on to this discussion, something must really be messing with my comprehension huh

Well so far, these are what I've learned :

1. There is no manual for love and marriage

2. The "right" person so to marry ultimately should be dependent on what matters the most to a person in a marriage, as people marry for various reasons.

3. There's a chance my friend will never grow to love "good man" but this doesn't stop them from having a good marriage, as marriage entails more than just feelings of affection....?

4. My friend is naive and misguided, and needs to redefine her priorities.

5. I'm not nearly as bright as I have always thought cry married people are on a totally different league.

Thanks everyone for your inputs.
They're very much appreciated.

Kimoni:
@ TV01, you know, I sincerely wish you had answered this question for the benefit of all. Remember that argument the ladies had with you guys on the boys thread was centered around this same subject and right here, we have a real life situation. Fortunately, the deed (marriage) has not been done yet.

She's got a good man she loves and adores but she doesn't love him, yet she can vouch he will make a good husband; maybe she dated him for 3 years thinking the love will grow. It's difficult to fault this except the time frame is too long but anyways, the love did not grow and now, she needs to take a decision cuz it's time to move to the next level.

Should she choose safety (assurance of a good marriage) over love or take the risk to further search/wait for someone else who she will not only love but will also be a great marriageable guy. It's a real dilemma young people face everyday.

Personally, as much as I believe you should love who you are getting married to, it gets complex when you are advising someone to let go of a great guy you don't have feelings for in search of someone (often imaginary)you would love and also tick the boxes.
THANK YOU ...
Thank you so much.

Difficult to advise. Seems she is the prpblem here. She's dated a guy for 3 years without having any "feelings" for him. She has "feelings" for someone else and still turned him down when he asked!! wow!!!

.
This was done solely out of loyalty to her man. And she's staying loyal to her man because he has been very caring and patient with her.

tearoses:
How does one even go out with someone one doesnt feel any passion for
Well I guess it sometimes start out as saying yes just so the pestering will cease, and afterwards remaining because you feel indebted to him for all he has invested in you.

Kachisbarbie:
I've heard people say they started loving their partner(s) after marriage_ I guess that was after seeing the good in the person at close range and constantly.
One thing I am sure of is, at a point it becomes more about understanding and tolerance, that initial spark/love would dwindle_ it would need to be rekindled, but before then (@ rekindling) understanding and tolerance would suffice.
I am not ruling out LOVE though, very very important.
So do you think the absence of sparky feelings isn't enough reason to say No to a marriage proposal, considering she already feels respect and appreciation towards him?

I dunno about friendship and all that though because she says "he's not romantic and doesn't play with me"

Do you think that as a woman, knowing your man truly cares for you and will stay faithful is enough to stay in a marriage?
