With clear implications afterwards if they do win...Do you not already see the issues with the security sector 90% dominated by core muslims? From employment/recruitment down to actual operations, there will hardly be any balance or does that not matter beyond 'winning'?

We are talking pre-election issues and you are bringing up Hope Uzodinma. What's the connection? Besides, even the abracadabra of the Supreme court is clear to see which is why parties braved the odds to ask the Supreme Court to review its decision. You cannot compare that with clear non-compliance with the Electoral Act.

The same electoral law demands certain criteria be met to qualify a party to field candidates for elections and failure of which is an outright disqualification. If someone failed to meet pre-election criteria and the other party can prove same in court, then no need to waste the precious time of the electorate by fielding ineligible candidates...

There are necessary steps to be taken to qualify them to come before the people in the first place and if they failed to meet those criteria, there is no need disturbing the people with unqualified or ineligible candidates. If non-compliance with the Electoral Act amounts to disqualification, then the non-compliant party/parties should be disqualified, simple.
It's just like a job interview; they say 2.1 not more than 30 years old then you come at 45years old without even a requisite educational qualification and expect to participate in tests or interviews? How? Why waste time and resources?

If APC or any other party did not comply with the extant electoral laws, they should be sued and when proved, judgment awarded against them! Equity cannot be used as a cloak for fraud and he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. You cannot be expecting to stand for elections with other party candidates if you did not comply with the basic laws that confirm and confer eligibility in the first pace. That is lawlessness! Other compliant candidates are not fools so there is nothing like weakness or allowing them (APC & Accord) to contest if they (PDP) are not scared.

When you do the right thing and take the right steps/lay correct foundation, no one will question your eligibility so it is perfectly alright that the courts be asked to determine whether APC & Accord party are in line to contest the elections.

You people are the ones that claim that religion doesn't matter to Yorubas so why are you suddenly acting like it matters now? The religious diversity of the entire country at national level must be recognized and respected as enshrined in the Constitution and that is why there are strong protests against APC's Muslim-Muslim ticket because the implications otherwise are clear for all to see. Kaduna state is a clear example where with the absence of a Christian at the Governorship level, Christians have suffered increased attacks and destruction of their regions deliberately supported by the state government just to have fulani marauders occupy those areas after displacing the original occupants.
That has never happened under Christian leadership because Islam as you know is a religion of violence, intolerance and crude force.

We cannot afford to lose that balance at federal/national level because it poses an existential threat so stop the hypocrisy and contrived arguments. Will Northern Muslims ever support a Christian-Christian ticket? They do not even recognize you Yoruba Muslims as true muslims that is why Tinubu cannot run with a Norhern Christian as VP because they will note vote for him yet you say it doesn't matter?
