Leave us with our 'bad' conscience o! |
With clear implications afterwards if they do win...Do you not already see the issues with the security sector 90% dominated by core muslims? From employment/recruitment down to actual operations, there will hardly be any balance or does that not matter beyond 'winning'? PandoraObi: |
Like that Mr Jollof. He made statements calling on the entertainment industry to support Tinubu boldly. Instead of making his speech/post peacefully, he had to call Obi and compare him to Tinubu as Leeds and Real Madrid. He couldn't even mention Atiku that has been dragging his agbado daddy to come and stand for simple 1 hour, live interview! Yeye goats |
Ha! As far as FG is concerned, IPOB, ESN and the elimination of any and everything Igbo is more critical than any level of kidnapping, murder and general terrorism in the North + Abuja! In fact, it will be better for BH to truly kidnap Buhari and El-Rufai than for the Army to mistakenly leave the SE. That is how the twisted minds of the Nigerian leadership and closet religious/ethnic bigots operate... |
wiseoneking:What did a whole tribe do to one insignificant nonentity to warrant that much hate, vitriol and disrespect? He's mad. With the way he'd been going, I'm sure he has the ears of Buhari, Tinubu and Bashir Ahmed, son of the Kaduna midget. These 3 alone, along with some cows for good measure, will provide the funds needed to release his brother so he doesn't have to pretend any repentance. |
Hehehe....make we dey look |
What it was then? How is it now with the one y'all replaced him with as messiah? How is Nigeria now? ThatFairGuy1: |
Crazy stuff! Then INEC will reel out very sick statistics based on which a particular section of the country will already be declared winner before elections while others are seen as politically unserious or uninvolved |
We are talking pre-election issues and you are bringing up Hope Uzodinma. What's the connection? Besides, even the abracadabra of the Supreme court is clear to see which is why parties braved the odds to ask the Supreme Court to review its decision. You cannot compare that with clear non-compliance with the Electoral Act. blackpanda: |
Sowiki:IPOB, IPOB! In the real sense of things, IPOB more of a threat to you than Boko haram terrorists and fulani bandits? Why do you get to tag Obi's supporters IPOB but you do not do same for Atiku and Shettima supporters; even for Tinubu that propped up Buhari to be president today? Do what you know to be the right thing. Na supporters go siddon for Aso Rock? All the madness displayed by Buhari supporters in 2015 calling Jonathan a goat and illustrating Jonathan's death with RIP on a coffin, where did you condemn them and did it put them all in charge of Nigeria? You have the power of thought and conscience so use them to choose and vote. Not everyone will perceive and react to issues like you want or expect, so do your part as you deem right. |
The same electoral law demands certain criteria be met to qualify a party to field candidates for elections and failure of which is an outright disqualification. If someone failed to meet pre-election criteria and the other party can prove same in court, then no need to waste the precious time of the electorate by fielding ineligible candidates... kcmichael: |
There are necessary steps to be taken to qualify them to come before the people in the first place and if they failed to meet those criteria, there is no need disturbing the people with unqualified or ineligible candidates. If non-compliance with the Electoral Act amounts to disqualification, then the non-compliant party/parties should be disqualified, simple. It's just like a job interview; they say 2.1 not more than 30 years old then you come at 45years old without even a requisite educational qualification and expect to participate in tests or interviews? How? Why waste time and resources? Mikelarteta: |
If APC or any other party did not comply with the extant electoral laws, they should be sued and when proved, judgment awarded against them! Equity cannot be used as a cloak for fraud and he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. You cannot be expecting to stand for elections with other party candidates if you did not comply with the basic laws that confirm and confer eligibility in the first pace. That is lawlessness! Other compliant candidates are not fools so there is nothing like weakness or allowing them (APC & Accord) to contest if they (PDP) are not scared. When you do the right thing and take the right steps/lay correct foundation, no one will question your eligibility so it is perfectly alright that the courts be asked to determine whether APC & Accord party are in line to contest the elections. blackpanda: Raiyoo: |
Kai! Buhari, Tinubu and all things APC should bow their heads in shame! They thought propaganda will still serve as good governance then Lai Mohammed will come out to say Nigeria is secure and investors should ignore liars while Investigator Fashola says security has improved! I wonder how they think if they keep uttering shameless lies it will somehow turn out to be true without recourse to the realities on ground! Garba Shehu will soon come and express Buhari's shock for him...mad men everywhere. Meanwhile, what has happened to Femi Asdesina? He hasn't been writing speeches in a while... |
Shame...nd they still have supporters including those campaigning for Tinubu and APC. Terrorist apologists |
Is the person you quoted running for President? Stick with the issues... mu2sa2: |
Be careful..no matter the outcome of the elections, your balls are personal to you and you need them. Election and politics no reach for you to sacrifice your essential body parts. Bet something else please... ![]() Musty42gud: |
Statements like these are made to make the North appear underdeveloped and helpless, thereby winning unfair advantages for themselves over other regions. It will be the height of folly and lack of wisdom to take statements such as these made by Atiku to heart; it swells your sense of achievement and importance meanwhile the so- called unexposed Northerners are used as bargaining chips to gain more advantages. Tomorrow you will hear that MTN and co have been mandated to invest more in the North to bring them up to par with Southern counterparts. Is that not why we have very imbalanced cutoff marks in the name if educationally disadvantaged states yet, they take up all the juicy appointments because with little to no effort on their parts, they are able to get into schools, get anyhow marks and still become graduates while those of us from the South slave and strain to achieve the higher cutoff marks, meet the higher demands from schools to pass and graduate. It is the height of mischief on the part of Northern elites and the earlier we recognise and fight it, the better for us otherwise we will become truly disadvantaged with no recourse... |
Online? Social media? Is that the source of your judgment? I thought you people always say the real people are offline that don't have access to social media, elections are not won online, that the online players are not on ground etc so why the about-face in this regard? You no get talk... As for votes, the choices are before all eligible voters; you have the task of eschewing ethnic bias and voting competence and justice/fairness or remain in your ethnic bias and vote another way... I am not sure Yoruba Christians are ready to sacrifice their existence to a sick muslim-muslim ticket though... GodsOwnMan: |
Hush please! Is he aspiring to be President of some regions only? Are there no APC-led states in the SE? Why couldn't he go at least to Ebonyi or Imo if according to you, he feels Igbos are against him? Will a good leader not attempt to mend fences and tell the people he aspires to lead what they stand to gain from his presidential bid rather than sit back and continue to propagate ethnic propaganda? sukkot: |
That Dave Umahi is just a silly oaf that will be sorely disgraced very soon if he does not call himself to order and stop his dance of madness in public. Racoon: |
Moh247:Until RCCG Press or Papa Adeboye himself will come out to say he did not endorse any Muslim-Muslim ticket...I hope you will not doubt his PhD in Mathematics then |
You know this is how Tinubu opened his rubbery lips and said people would labour till they died in Osun state and yet his party/candidate lost decisively. Now you are saying anyone not in support of APC muslim-muslim ticket should go and die or kill themselves. I hope you remain on ground and alive long enough to even witness the election. mighty2: |
Money laundering related to drug dealing is definitely a criminal case. Stop the obfuscation please Commentor: |
Not sure she ever recovered from the passing of her daughter plus she just spoke out about depression and mental health issues bareley a month ago...may her soul Rest Peacefully, Amen. |
Biodun556:And we are saying it is hypocrisy when you know that Christians aren't remotely as violent as muslims are and that for the sake of national consciousness and peace, there ought to be proper regional and religious balance and representation! |
Dem try o! So they can claim religion doesn't matter abi? No problem, just balance the ticket and avoid unnecessary drama |
You people are the ones that claim that religion doesn't matter to Yorubas so why are you suddenly acting like it matters now? The religious diversity of the entire country at national level must be recognized and respected as enshrined in the Constitution and that is why there are strong protests against APC's Muslim-Muslim ticket because the implications otherwise are clear for all to see. Kaduna state is a clear example where with the absence of a Christian at the Governorship level, Christians have suffered increased attacks and destruction of their regions deliberately supported by the state government just to have fulani marauders occupy those areas after displacing the original occupants. That has never happened under Christian leadership because Islam as you know is a religion of violence, intolerance and crude force. We cannot afford to lose that balance at federal/national level because it poses an existential threat so stop the hypocrisy and contrived arguments. Will Northern Muslims ever support a Christian-Christian ticket? They do not even recognize you Yoruba Muslims as true muslims that is why Tinubu cannot run with a Norhern Christian as VP because they will note vote for him yet you say it doesn't matter? Be honest please! Biodun556:By what statistics? Biodun556: |
I thought this would be some grand expose against Peter Obi sef. So he has absolutely nothing to discredit him with? That Ekpa is mad, he and the idiots paying him to mastermind havoc in the East |
Exactly! I kept wondering why he would ask Kenneth a question and keep interrupting his responses! I want to believe he was playing the devil's advocate with some of his questions but the interruptions were absolutely uncalled for. toprealman: |
These ones never imagined or knew at the time that Baba Agbado EscoBAT will nominate a fellow muslim as VP. Very soon, they will denounce him also. They don't tolerate rubbish post=114743799: |
