Put an end to whatever is keeping you both together! Whether relationship or actual marriage! Why should one become a criminal or is it because spousal abuse is not treated with the level of seriousness it deserves in this country? You know in advanced countries, if you physically assault a spouse, it is an offense punishable by imprisonment plus all the spousal and child support you will have to pay! So which is easier? Cause yourself an avoidable criminal record or just get out of the situation? NFBI: |
So because you feel a woman is very troublesome, it is then okay to become a criminal and batter her mercilessly? NFBI: |
So because of whatever key, blood has to flow? You are actually justifying the battery of a fellow human being by another in the name of marriage because he did not receive a key he wanted? You heard him demanding for key, did you not hear the other neighbour saying that the man was always beating the woman like that for the past 4years he had lived there? Na only key be the reason for lack of peace? muyico: |
Wear pant fight her husband? Did you see her fight him? Was she even in a position or place to fight when she had already been brutalised and bloodied by the beastly husband? Make una try dey dey objective o! spinna: |
It is because it was uploaded and met with widespread criticism that the beast was arrested if not it would become 'he said, she said'. He probably would have even gotten away with it because from the video, some neighbour said he'd been in the habit of abusing his wife in this manner for the 4years he (the neighbour) had lived there! The woman deserves rapid justice and support! Christistruth03: |
Both the one that tells and anyone that believes any formulated story from any quarters to remotely justify such battery of the woman need to psychologically examined! DARLINGTON869: |
Why is the continuation of the marriage an issue to be considered in the face of the dehumanizing, criminal behaviour of the man against the woman? What would be the basis for continuation of such a marriage/union? Even children of such a marriage, if any, need to be removed from that environment ASAP to reduce trauma and negative experiences of watching their mother being treated so inhumanely! Lessel: |
Very good! Some of our public office holders must also learn to minimize ignorance and speak from a place of knowledge when addressing the public! How can the Minister of Women Affairs say that the man must face the law due to family pressure? Does she not realize that crimes such as these are offenses against the state and so the state is bound to investigate and prosecute this crime? It has nothing to do with family pressure except where corruption creeps in and we start hearing 'order from above'! I hope she matches her words with action along with concerned government agencies! |
Whether Obi/Obidients talk or not, does it stop the president from doing what he has to do or choosing to endorse criminality as he clearly continues to do? Is Obi in office/power? Is Tinubu president of only APC supporters or all Nigerians? Who else will Nigerians be fixated upon other than those in power at state and federal level? pquaver: |
What do you mean by leave the president? Who is holding/stopping him from running things in the first place? Abi nobody should talk about or criticize his actions or inaction? Are Nigerians not affected negatively these days? Is it only Igbos that are complaining or making comments and even if it is, are they not Nigerians with a right to air their opinions? Goodnewsforlife: |
Abel7777:Suddenly they are awake and asking questions because it is muslims that were affected. Even more hypocritical is the demand that compensation must be paid in line with the tenets of islam. So, the FG and the Nigeran Army are expected to disregard any government standard policy for payment of compensation in circumstances like this and instead bow to religious terms because muslims were affected! Are these muslims not Nigerians? When did religious laws start to supersede national laws and policies? These are one of the possible dangers of same-faith ticket because the propensity to uphold one religion over others becomes more pronounced! Ok o! Make we dey play! |
Upeh! They will not call the yeye by his full name and hold him accountable o! Thy will be looking for supporters and so called 'hijackers' of government to blame! The same nonsense game they played during Buhari's reign of disaster that is beginning to look 'better'! |
No sir! He has no right no right to be stupid especially when that stupidity will have implications for an entire country and generations to come! He can be stupid in his personal matters, no problem! However, when it is on a national scale, he and his idiotic cohorts must collect the full repercussions of that stupidity! IgOga: |
It tells you the kind of small minds they have and they cannot grasp basics of economic and development indices! That is why they all went rabid when Tulumbu was asking weda na data we go chop! See am na, beta food, dem no see chop! My own be say, even that 1m wey be am like eligible japa funds, him no go see am hold! Dem must exclusively collect the full shege of the balablu arrangement! DKM123: |
Even the money wey him dey call sef e no go see! Nonny95: |
Even the 1million he no go see o! he must enjoy balablu jagbajantis full time without mercy! thesicilian: |
Oga, if you have not gone to LUTH to verify that wards are not closed, do not sit and speculate behind your keyboard. A factual, empirical rebuttal will make more sense. If approval for recruitment is their problem, they know the proper channel through which to make the recommendation and follow-up for approval. nelsonose: |
Yes o! Have you forgotten that Air Peace had to evacuate Nigerian students from Sudan? Many of them would be studying medicine there, mostly muslims I'm sure. Emereolevanwill: |
He has inadvertently confirmed the very loud rumours that BH operators have been recruited into the military and it comes as no surprise. Otherwise, what well-trained, patriotic military officers will invade a police formation even to the point of murder? It can only be hardened criminals given state sanction/cover through recruitment into the military. If the military refuses to be professional, no one should blame another for supposedly being 'unprofessional'. IVORY2009: |
You know Nigeria and its ingrained criminality! Even with the clear need for immediate employment/recruitment of more qualified medical personnel to provide necessary services, one oga somewhere will sit on funds/salaries allocated for these vacancies and rather see the hospital shut down with people suffering or keep overworking the available staff (which makes them to start planning japa too!) just because there is hardly any form of accountability. Either that or employment racketeering will be set up with officials requiring bribe or letter from above, seasoned with enough nepotism! How then can we ever get the best? OBTOREPA: |
Are you then saying the House of Reps Chairman of the Committee is lying or uninformed? Do you have any factual basis for your outright disagreement with the House of Reps that exercises oversight of the health sector? Has LUTH come out to say the position is untrue or have you verified that there are no 5 wards shut down in LUTH due to lack of medical personnel? It is clearly stated in the news that the Health Committee undertook an oversight visit to LUTH and came up with these findings. Have you done same and had a different result? Assuming, without conceding, that your assertion is correct, why then am I not seeing some outrage from you against the House of Reps Chair of the Committee for speaking such falsehood and misleading the people? Why do you rather attack one who has reacted to the news and instead accuse the person of being negative and therefore not entitled to the blessings of the land? Either way, there is evident failure of government/governance so why are you unable to criticize the government for its lapses? FreeStuffsNG: |
Very good. Hamas needs to be completely obliterated! Terrorists must be destroyed by every means! |
Keep comparing and justifying nonsense. How many of the listed countries are crude oil producers? Is it not a shame that Nigeria cannot even extract and refine her own crude but has to keep importing? |
This is good! I hope the government and construction experts are putting adequate precautions in place to avoid flooding though. DrGoodman: |
@op: bumming or booming? Please check your title |
Did you even take a look at the names of the persons that signed the letter? Make Igbo matter no kill una o! Pakute: accordadoga24: |
These people should just shut up until it actually happens! The shamelessness of these announcements is what I don't understand! |
That power outage app suppose don crash by now abi dem want test-run am na him make dem collapse the grid? |
My question exactly! After reporting, what next? Will they suddenly develop good manner, apologise and restore power? Nansense! Shebi the reporters will even have light to charge and power their phones before accessing the kain app?! AllBlack: |
APC - Scam Buhari - Scam Tinubu - Scam APC/Tinubu supporters - Silly oafs and waste of space! Nigeria as is - SCAM!!! Make we siddon dey look |
That's absolutely untrue. ElSudani: |
