The mother of the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Dame Patience, Mrs. Iwarioba, popularly called Sisi, died yesterday in a road crash. The accident occurred at Elele in Rivers State. She was on her way to neighbouring Bayelsa State. A source said last night that the late Mrs Iwarioba was Mrs Jonathan’s stepmother, but this could not be immediately confirmed. Source: The Nation.
I DON'T KNOW WHY I LAUGHED AT IS POINT. |

In primary school, Miss Agatha did teach us Indirect Rule. I think she said it's a divide and rule system of government. I think so. (dt was hw one Otueke man described what is happening in NGF as he peeped @ me above the rims of his pricely glasses) |
Why do I buy designer labels; 1. Perfection: These Labels put in more effort into everything. E.g.. China would give you a well made knock-off Designer sunglasses, but you havent known Quality shades until you wear a Polarized lens or a truly 100% UV protective lens. Move past lenses to finishing.. I have my tailors in Naija that make really killer outfits, but when you place a Vera Wang wedding gown next to a Chidinma Tailored gown, the Difference is OBVIOUS. When you wear a 100% authentic designer outfit, you feel a ceraatin level of confidence. 2. Quality: Try spraying a Tom Ford Perfume and one of these random perfumes you find on the streets.. Then you'll understand. Everything is taken into consideration. A Handbag made from Crocodile skin is truly made from croc skin and not synthetic material that would tear after a few weeks. 3. Class: It sets you apart from the rest. Thats why those who wear the fake suits would leave the fake designer tags on it just to make people recognize them. Well!! A Man who knows the quality of what he is wearing does not need to advertise it.. #Game recognize game. 4. Durability: Top of the line designer stuffs last longer as most times they are hand crafted and not factory sewn. 5. Mark of quality.. Thats why you know the name. ![]() 6. And most importantly, I can afford it.. SO why not!
I ve forgotten that musician that sang that line 'tell them'. That other dude that said if he had money like Warren he would still buy 200naira shade, i bet you will never make money. Money is meant to be spent not kept. Money is means not an end. If you have it- i repeat if you have it, use it. If you dont have it, work to earn it and dont envy those who earned it plus how they spend it. For me, designer all the way. |
Ola Johnson: What about Obi, is it a Zulu name?Shut that crap up pls. Shut it fast. Crime or fraud is not limited to a tribe or race. And dont generalize, pls. 32 persons were involved in credit card fraud recently in the states. Guess what? 28 were my frm the SW, folks that i know and met in functions in Houston. Non, not one was Ibo! I mean out of 32, 28 were SW and non was SE or anyother part of Nigeria. Sit up. Tackle the issue at stake. Mind Igbo's dont cry foul- they dont have media, it is you and your brothers- wonder why you own every media in Nigeria? Think again. Face the issue at stake- cuz an injustice to one is injustice to all. It may be you or your brother tommorrow. |
Ibrahim mr fish: Adulmtalab and that yoruba dude, are just two people, but go u.s,south africa,uk china, malesia, brazil and check out the number of Nigerians,in there prison.90% are Igbo,i even once watch an aljazeera report on Afgan prison, guess what? There were Nigerians, these and both were igbo, you people are too much.Ibu ewu! Go back to the barn. Your father is probably Chinua Achebe's mate. Your granny probably Zik's. And i know Chimamanda is your younger. When they praise Emeagwali in the committee of nations you stick out ur carmel neck, forgeting his a brother to those you call too much. Ewu. Go back to the barn. |
zetdee: look, I'm not denying the Xenophobia in SA, my problem is with Nigerians who think their people are innocent victims. There're many stories of Nigerian criminality in SA, and people never condemn it but scream Xenophobia each time something happens to a Nigerian ( mostly criminals). This is what happens here on almost a daily bases, Nigerians killing each other and getting in trouble with the police, it didn't take me long to find this online, there're so many stories like this.Dont shy away from this question. I need one instance where you murdered Nigerians extrajudicially due to crime and one where its out of zenophobia? This will help us draw the line. NB: death extrajuddicially or out of zenophobia is a state crime. A worst crime than corruption and fraud put together. |
Nairatalks: Salaam, there is no REASON atleast one that is logical to contribute on this thread, its already built fundamentally on FALSE premise. When you generalize, you introduce fallacies. When you say 'anything that is not written in the koran is not accepted' you err in logic, and this point particularly explains the extremism with you and your members. Psychologically its a sexual drive of self preservation and defense. Bro, dont sit down there poiting fingers at people calling them names like Jihadist or Boko Haram, such subtle acts or opinion like 'if it is not in the koran it is not accepted' is lettered display of jihadic instincts. For the record, no single book can contain all knowlegde- not your koran or my bible. Go check up the word or concept 'internet' in your bible or koran. |
In as much as their are no laws against capital punishement, those guys should be dealt by what laws we have. Secondly, that brings to fore the need to have a vibrant and proactive legislative house- a house that thinks out of the box- not a tag along house. Thank you. |

Al PicapcI: what's your take on this one? even the blind can hear, the deaf could perceive that "when the centre cannot hold, things fall apart" you must be a psycopant of some sort.Yes the guy is a PSYCOPANT, the G-STRING type abi? if i slap you eh.... |

I like these qiuotes 'a disorganized comedy which did not provoke laughter but showed the world our party has fallen into the hands of degenerate managers' 'a ragtag of fortune hunters and cross section of those in need of rehabilitation' 'Bode George, a convicted felon who has spent a prison term' I cross my hands for more and a possible rebuttal. |
T B Joshua prophesied APC will win the election in my dreams. Then an annoucement followed to the effect that ''Sen Oluremi Tinubu is now the new Minister of Petroleum, please you are directed to accept her as our consensus candidate''. *buhari slaps somebody* . Shortly i woke up. |
A lone voice crying in a political wilderness. Unforturnately, Madam Jonathan who would have helped him(as a daughter of Rivers) is joinin forces wt her hubby to grab more oil wells for Bayelsa and invariably for their pocket- afterall, the stooge Seriake pays tithe from oil wells(Perm Sec is just a sample). But they are not done! They will want to also install a clown in Rivers- Wike. Meche is a lone voice, he can only pray that his people joins his course/cause. |
