150ml for 8 weeks old baby is it not too much? Sometimes, food might not be the issue. Colic might make him cry but it will soon pass. My 4 months old baby struggles to finish 120ml and we have been on breast milk and formula right from birth because just like you I didn't have appetite for food. My baby weighed 3kg at birth but is around 8kg now. Please I'm not trying to compare both babies but I feel like it might be overfeeding that is making him cry. Hope his stomach is not stiff after feeding such quantity. Please this my own personal observation. Other mums can chook mouth.

Thanks mama. He doesn't cry all the time only few hours after feeds or when he wakes up and he is always licking his mouth and hands, that's why I suspected its underfeeding and no his stomach isn't stiff after feeding. He poops normal too.

4 times daily is too low for a newborn to feed (except you're not counting BM feeds). Please feed him every 3-4 hours. You can supplement with BM. You can reduce quantity and increase frequency, their stomachs are still quite small

Please a baby has to be fed every single time they are hungry. Their job now is to eat and sleep, anything more is suffering . Just give him water everytime he takes formula so he doesn't get constipated. Give him150ml every two hours and breastfeed him in between. It can only make him fat, nothing more.
When he's four months or older you can introduce pap and cereal.

He takes 150ml now and takes it 3-4 times daily, I don't give more than that cos I am been careful of his digestive system, so he won't go too long and not poop.

How old is he. Try to formula feed him more often than you're already doing. Take liquids to improve the breast flow, tea, juice, fanta, lots of pap and water. I always lose my appetite after delivery but I don't stop drinking.

Good afternoon mamas and how are our LOs doing?. pls I need help. I don't eat as much as I should ( not really a food person even before pregnancy) and this affects how full my breasts should be to the extent that my DS is being starved ( he is a foodie like his dad). The formula and breastmilk doesn't fill him and this makes him cry a lot and sleep less. pls, what can I do to help my situation and also help my child.

For his temperature give PCM drops. You can also mop his body with a cloth dipped in lukewarm water. If you have a thermometer at home you can check his temp periodically. It's immunization fever and will pass before 24 hours

pls mamas help. I took DS for immunization today and I just noticed the laps where injection was given is swollen and his body temperature is a bit high. what do I do? can I give pcm? so confused. He is 6 weeks old.

Does it feel heavier and fuller than the other,if yes then maybe you are feeding baby more of it thsn the right.You can feed the right one more to balance the both and help yourself with a breastpad.

Just used tribotan for 4days tho but it's having no effect on d white patch. It's just on her face n behind her ears. I use ori for her

Pele mama, I had the same issue last week and mamas here advised tribotan which I started using since Sunday, as at today it has peeled off and I keep seeing improvement. I know how worrying it can be but have patience and keep using the tribotan, also practice good hygiene, take it easy on the fan too, it will clear off.

mama pls don't leave it. Buy and use the baby tribotan like she suggested. Have u not notice that it keep multiplying? If u still bath the baby with sponge it will. I made this the same mistake of ' it will clear on its own with my baby.
