My lil prince had it and he has so much hair too. I use comb to partition the hair before applying vaseline blue seal. Then after bathing him, i scratch it off. I was told by a PAED to use shea butter as his hair cream cos cradle cap feeds on oils. I was asked to buy a cradle cap shampoo too but i couldnt get in my
estate. Konga has it tho and its N5,500. Buy sebamed baby shampoo for ur baby.
Thanks cappo.....I really appreciate.

Good afternoon mamas. My baby has cradle cap but the thing is there is so much hair, I can't even see the scalp let alone scratching if off or applying oil, I don't know what to do. Also, what can I use for his hair to soften it, we cry every morning when combing even though we use the biggest adult comb. He is 5months plus.

Let him start before you resume, to ease the separation anxiety, drop him off as if you're going to work, then go pick him early. He will take pap. Express for him as well. It's even noon sef not 6pm, both of you will be fine grin
Ok mama. I will try to register him a week before I resume, we will be alright by God's grace.... Thanks so much.

Please mamas, can i start putting my 4 month old son at my back without using oja under his butt to tie the wrapper? I just want to tie the wrapper and knot it. We .ame use of carrier but he weighs 7.5 now. I was told the boy child sits at 5months.
Cappo.....I was told 4months oooo. Anyways, me I started teaching DS to sit at 3months plus and now he sits well with a few toppling over now and then. About the backing him, I am not sure cos I still leave his legs slightly straight and use Oja.

That’s part of the trials of motherhood..
My kids start crèche at roughly 3months..

Try and start taking a week before resumption for a few hours , check on him unannounced to allay your fears that he’s been taken care of and trust in God for the best..

I express because I close late and from 6months I pack his food then breastfeed when I come back..

Sure other mamas will help too..
Arrgghhhh......I feel so sad letting him out of my sight but thanks for your advice, I will put everything in God's hands and hope for the best.

I can't bear to leave DS alone, how will I cope, how will he cope? He will be 5months plus when I resume and he takes just pap and breast milk only. What will he take when I am at work because I don't want to express since I close at noon....I am just confused, please help me chook mouth... help me ooooo

This is late, was offline yesterday

Stop the bonababe, give the BM that he wants, teething isn't sickness. If there is no fever or anything, let him be. Put his teething ring in the fridge and allow him chew when it's cold
Alright mama. Its not late o. Thank you so much.

Glad the rashes are gone..

I am not team bonababe..

Try give paracetamol syrup, it’s possibly the pain from the gum that is not allowing him to open the mouth to collect feeds..

You can also use a very cold towel to mop the gum for him, it soothes them or if you have his teether(put it in the freezer and let him play with it)..

Hope this helps

One love always
Awwww......more than help. Thanks nurse.

Thank God ma. Blueseal is very good. No need for bonabebe or any teething medicine. I didn't give my baby any and he has two teeth now. When he was teething he wanted only breast milk. But I tried to give him formula too because we did mixed feeding so that he won't starve. Might be the bonabebe making him sleep.
Hmmm.....I will discontinue the bonababe and see how it goes. Thank you.

He also feels weak, sleeps extra ( as in over extra sef) and has reduce playing. He doesn't stool or run temperature. pls, what do I do biconu....?

Changed from mofix to huggies...Nigerian huggies sef and the rash has disappeared ever since. B4 it goes and comes back. I also use water to wash up when we're home n only use wipes outdoors. I don't know if tho'se were the cause but it worked 4me. As for sitting, my 4months baby too will either lean to her side or front whenever i put her to sit. Now i use pillows to support her. I'm not so worried, i think they'll learn with time.
I guess I have to be extra patient then. As for changing diaper, I started with pampers today and used blue seal for diaper cream. let me see how it goes this week. Thank you so much mama.

Giddyperson:
You have to hold him or support him with pillows for now. My baby is headed for 6 months and still can't sit for long without toppling over. It always cracks me up, but one day i'd wake up and realise he can sit for long without tumbling, that's how it happens, so enjoy every phase.

For diaper, change him every 4 hours, make sure the wipes you're using isn't harsh. I use angel wipes. If these don't work then try a different brand of diaper.

For breastfeeding, prop up his head with a little pillow or folded wrappers, if it continues, you may have to sit up at night to breastfeed. Maybe it's running to fast and due to his position it keeps going the wrong way.
Taking care of little ones is really fun. Thank you mama. let me put all these to action.

Hi Mama,

1. Just keep trying, he'll figure it out, prop him up with pillows (preferably a nursing pillow). He still has time to learn
2. Stop lying down to feed him until you can figure it out. Do you use a pillow for him? The milk is flowing the wrong way
3. Try changing his diaper more frequently, also try blue seal vaseline as a barrier cream. You may want to change diaper if this doesn't work

Other mamas may come with better solutions
Awwww...... Thank you mama. Team blue seal Vaseline from now on. I will try to sit up to breast feed at night too, e go hard oooo.

Patiently, teach him to sit. He'll learn. Some ladies I know started teaching baby to sit by 6 months so 4 months is not too late. Support him with pillows. When he gets tired allow him rest. Just keep trying daily b4 you know it he'll be sitting on his own.
I didn't experience such maybe the bm is flowing much. Other mommas go chook mouth.
We use blueseal Vaseline and my baby has never had rashes. I have used different diapers mainly Molflix and Bebem and yet his genitals are smooth and he's always in diapers. We are currently using bebem cause it's affordable. You can try blueseal Vaseline. Apply generously.
Oh the relief....Thank you so much mama. I will try the Vaseline and see how it goes.

My able mamas I have come again ooo, pls come to my aid.

DS has refused to sit, he is more than 4months and whenever he is placed to sit, he pushes himself and slides down, I don tire, how can I make him sit.

BM flows from his left nose whenever we lie down to breastfeed at night, what could be the cause?

Rashes keep coming and going around his genitals, I keep to strict hygiene and use tribotan, we use molfix diaper...still the same, I am tired oooo. we have been battling this since he was 3weeks.

Sorry, this is coming a bit late. My baby had rashes at 6 weeks that left her with some spots. But since I started using Sebamed soap and cream on her, she's fresh and spotless. Kindly go for this combination if its affordable coz they are a bit expensive. All the best dear.
Thank you mama. I have actually been looking for it, most baby shops and pharmacies around me don't have.

mix the tribotan with Vaseline or any cream before using it for your baby. He has a sensitive skin. Once the rashes clears off, just let his skin breath. No cream for a while

Good morning mamas please help a first time dad my wife gave birth to our daughter yesterday evening and we intend doing EBF but the problem now is that since yesterday no breast milk ,please help us out with remedies to help help the breast milk Abeg
The breast milk will flow. There is a mama here that sells lactation cookies. You can also take pap, tea and milk and other liquids, allow the baby to continue to suck on it to aid its coming out, your wife will be alright. Other mamas will still chook mouth.
