Its what we have to deal with in Nairaland. All sorts of fruitcakes pop up with crazy ideas instead of checking in to the psych wards. Mental health is still an underdiagnosed and undermanaged branch of medicine in this part of the world. The problem is when the patient turns manic, they term it jazz or yahoo gone wrong, and haul the patient to a church or alfa

I really admire the energy, time & patience you have in schooling these psychotic patients of yabaleft on the loose here on NL religious section. Your replies are always logical & straight foward for that anyone including the fruitcake you address can't dispute without sounding more foolish. And even lacing it with sarcasm cheesy always makes me not want to miss any of them. Look Jaephonix you,Lordreed, hopefullandlors,Maymann, knownunknown & any other atheists here are my hero's & deserve national awards for how you school the demented fruitcakes here. Infact I wish I could order a full trailer load of chilled hienken with goat meat peppersoup for you guys. I've learnt so much from you guys ever since I stumbled upon NL religious section in 2020. You guys helped me come out from the closer as an Atheist & av never regreted taken such bold step despite d backlash I've faced & still facing. I must admit I'm not as learned or enlightened as you guys are but soon I'll try & contact you guys personally to share more books & knowledge with me. You guys make me so proud to be an Atheist & I wish you guys more success in all your endeavours + more grease to your elbows as you school these cretards that know deep down within them you are making sense but the cognitive disonace they suffer from won't let them admit they are wrong.

Keep up the good work guys & continue to Pepper them with logical reasoning.

If you don't know something, kindly ask questions
1. Good percentage of covid patients are young and the coronavirus can run its course without problems. The reason world is concerned about Covid is the effect on the elderly who have diseases like chronic kidney diseases, diabetes. These reduce the immune system and make the senior citizen susceptible, and can die from Covid
2. HIV has proven difficult to cure because the viruses go to what we call 'sanctuary sites' like lymphatic nodes and thus many drugs can't access it there.
3. There are many types of cancer, so getting a particular cure for all is a pipe dream. We can reduce the incidence
4. Diabetes is a multisystemic disease and stem cell is gradually trying to help but religious fruitcakes like you are crying out against stem cell technology

Food / Re: Healthy And Delicious Fruits Cakes From Mrcake by FruitCakes(f): 11:50pm On Jan 22, 2021
karanprakash:
Okay, finally festivals make us super happy even in this covid-19 time. Decorations are glowing up and our favorite shows over TV, then finally a fruit cake is very much needed for everyone and every celebration.

Each fruit cake is different in terms and making and they are super healthy. People have their choices for the types of fruit, overall crumb, spice levels, and addition of delicious flavors that make these perfect fruit cakes. Yet few ingredients are similar in each7 recipe.

Fruit cakes are mostly brightly-colored jellied cakes. Much time fruit cakes involve dried fruit, cherries, pineapple, and raisins, candied citrus. In states like the United States, many fruit cakes are made with pecans. In India, fruit cakes are mostly nuts and dry fruits. These cakes are normally garnished with much fruit and then nuts which never ask for creamy icing.

Didn't you have never tasted a fruit cake before then you might imagine a dry, dense, fresh, and sweet cake come to mind? Yet the best ones never look dense or dry for throwing as a rock. The finest fruitcakes are moist and tasty. If you are testing or excited about the cake for the primary time, here we listed the finest fruitcake options that are accessible for delivery.

1. Pear cake

Pear is always the heart of our every celebratory and Autumn event. For getting the nutty flavor you want for cooking creamy butter till the milk turns golden, after cooling it cream it with the sugar like a standard cake process. It can take a lot of time but guys it's worth it.

2. Toffee apple cake

This is yet another best fruit cake which is a pure celebration of cold, feel like brisk walks within the fresh leaves. Sprinkle a little caramel sauce or toffee for much more indulgent tea time.

3. Blackberry cake

Blackberries are very delicious fruits that grow in the months of August to October. Make these tasty berries a huge start on your cake by fresh fruit baked to the sponge with much vibrant coulis sprinkled on freshly whipped cream.

4. Pineapple upside-down cake

Pineapple upside-down cake is something more way special and simple where you actually create it upside down. Fresh pineapple cake slices with a hint of the star are a huge thing in this recipe which makes it the best family pudding or the dinner-party dessert for your festivals.

5. Plum and earl grey pound cake

This cake always opted for the best afternoon treat alongside a cup of tea. It is a very simple recipe for making yet it gives really great tastes which you need.

6. Grapefruit angel cake

This cake is made with both red and pink grapefruits. This poppy seeds and grapefruits angel cake layered with white chocolate frosting is the best turn over of a cake to make it look stunning.

7. Passion fruit cake

A simple springy sponge cake frosted by the tangy, and fresh, sweetness of a fresh passion fruit icing. Passion fruit cake can obviously make you enjoy a lovely afternoon.

8. Lemon-Orange Pound Cake

Their lemon-orange pound cake is very simple and looks simple too, yet few bakeries make it fancy by a Bundt pan and also with two contrasting icings. You could leave the yellow food color for your cake which even tastes delicious because of the fresh lemon and orange slices in it.

9. Banana Pudding Cake

The banana cake itself is a treat to watch. But few people are making this cake with creamy vanilla custard for creating a mouth-watering banana dessert. So either it's a birthday or Anniversary this cake got your back.

Preachers of the Bible but lovers of the world are here again. You claim you're a Christian but when it doesn't suit you, you become a traditionalist.

Instead of your friend to arrange only traditional marriage and carry his wife home, or better still, marry the daughter of a traditionalist, he carried his leg to go to the house of a Church goer and look for wife. Now that he's been requested to follow the directives issued by the church, he suddenly remembered he has a tradition.

Tell your friend, your self and everybody who agreed with you that you're all loosing a neurone or two in your brain.

Religion / Re: Stingy Men Association: What The Bible Says by FruitCakes(f): 10:45am On Jan 18, 2021
Akell:
When Christians are stingy they usually never realize it. You can give and still be stingy. There are some people who give, but with a grudging heart. They think “Aww, do I really have too?” There are some people who offer things, but in their mind they hope the other person says no.

We must not be lovers of self and lovers of money. We must think about others just like Christ thought about us. Give with a cheerful heart not expecting anything in return. Be generous and love others just like Christ loves you. Stinginess is not part of the Christian life.

People are worth more than material things you must never forget that. Where are you storing up your treasures? Would you rather buy stuff or help the poor? Why not readjust your giving today and be a blessing to others. It is so hard for rich people to enter into Heaven.

What does the Bible say?

1.  Proverbs 28:22-24 The stingy person hastens after riches and does not know that poverty will overtake him. The one who reproves another will in the end find more favor than the one who flatters with the tongue. The one who robs his father and mother and says, “There is no transgression,” is a companion to the one who destroys.

2.  Proverbs 23:6-8 Do not eat the food of a stingy person, do not crave his delicacies; for he is like someone calculating the cost in his mind. “Eat and drink,” he says to you, but his heart is not with you; you will vomit up the little bit you have eaten, and will have wasted your pleasant words.

Give not with a grudging heart

3. 2 Corinthians 9:7-10 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.

4. 1 Chronicles 29:9 The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the LORD. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

5. Romans 12:8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

6.  Proverbs 11:24-27 One person is generous and yet grows more wealthy, but another withholds more than he should and comes to poverty. A generous person will be enriched, and the one who provides water for others will himself be satisfied. People will curse the one who withholds grain, but they will praise the one who sells it. The one who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but the one who searches for evil—it will come to him.

7. Deuteronomy 15:8-11 Instead, be generous and lend them whatever they need. Do not be mean-spirited and refuse someone a loan because the year for canceling debts is close at hand. If you refuse to make the loan and the needy person cries out to the LORD, you will be considered guilty of sin. Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the LORD your God will bless you in everything you do. There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.

Treasures in Heaven

8. Luke 12:16-24 Then he gave an illustration: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops. In fact, his barns were full to overflowing—he couldn’t get everything in. He thought about his problem, and finally exclaimed, ‘I know—I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones! Then I’ll have room enough. And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “Friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Wine, women, and song for you!”’  “But God said to him, ‘Fool! Tonight you die. Then who will get it all?’ “Yes, every man is a fool who gets rich on earth but not in heaven.” Then turning to his disciples he said, “Don’t worry about whether you have enough food to eat or clothes to wear. For life consists of far more than food and clothes. Look at the ravens—they don’t plant or harvest or have barns to store away their food, and yet they get along all right—for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds!”

9. 1 Timothy 6:18-19 Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.

10. Matthew 25:34-40 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Be generous

11. Proverbs 22:9 The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.

12. Luke 6:38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.

13. Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.

Reminders

14. Proverbs 11:26-27 The people curse him who holds back grain, but a blessing is on the head of him who sells it. Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.

15. Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

16. 1 Peter 4:8-10 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
