His wonderful opinion is better ventilated in the town hall meeting with his fellow Igbo youths.
They will be glad they have such a wonderful man with super ideas in their midst. The man is from Orsu and Orsu people have since declared IPOB the enemy for all the atrocities committed by IPOB on their people. If you want to kill him, then go to Orsu and do so. |

I also see this on her wikipedia She has reduced her office into making it a free legal aid organisation to free her fellow Ibos rightly convicted for sundry crimes abroad. She remains the worst minister for foreign affairs. |

Lemme summarize it for you.
The boy's dad was locked away in prison in China and his mother went to sleep with another man who got her pregnant. Upon returning to the village they discovered she was pregnant, she went and aborted the pregnancy.
Moral lesson: men should take care of themselves because if anything happens to them their beloved wife will forcked another man and will gladly take in for him 13ys lockers up in prison and you expect any woman to be loyal and faithful? If I ever find myself in such position, I will just tell my wife to move on. Because there's no way she can wait 13ys . |

Lolz.
This is the second time Amaechi is denying being Ibo
He first denied being Ibo and said he only said so because of politics . This was when Ibos were saying Buhari was marginalising the Ibos to which he came out and said he was Ibo.
Later, he wil say that he isn't Ibo and that he only said so out of political convenience .
Now Ibos in ADC rejected him as VP to Atiku by insisting Atiku must pick an Ibo to which Amaechi said he is Ibo but they reminded him of when he said he wasn't Ibo .
Now that he has gotten the VP , he is telling them that since they refused to back him as VP, he is no longer Ibo.

It made sense when there was only one school within a 200km radius but now I don't see the point.
Every parent should partake in educating and training their kids at home .
Childhood is very short and when they go to university that's about it because from there they can fend for themselves and be on their own so why send them to boarding house? |

When Nigeria gets that factor right, i will then take those VAT statistics seriously. Then what is stopping busineses from setting shop outside Lagos ? That's the question you need to ask yourselves. |

helinues: Bro, must every discussion be about the Igbo's?
I really dont know the problem of some of the Igbo youths on this forum. They just want to be attracting unnecessary attack on their region That only exposes their desperation for validation from others. They are highly opinionated to the point of narcism and assume that every one has time to hear their opinion on issues. Just checkout any phone-in radio program and you will find out that 95% of callers wanting to air their views are them. It's almost like it's a form of frustrating "notice me , I have an opinion you must listen to". And this is rooted in assuming from their end that the world is centred around them. It's obnoxiously annoying to say the least |
Politics › Re: Olodo Uprising: The Igbo Are Not Into That And Will Never Be Into That ! by FSBoperator: 8:00pm On Jul 19 |
ariesbull: Education, Not Ignorance: Why the Igbo Traditionally Place a Premium on Learning and Enterprise
The expression "olodo" is a Yoruba word commonly used to describe someone who is academically weak, uneducated, or lacking in knowledge. In recent years, the phrase "Olodo Uprising" has appeared on Nigerian social media as a sarcastic expression criticizing the celebration of anti-intellectualism, misinformation, or poor educational standards. This is about encouraging stupidity and academic docility and the Igbo people are not into that and will never align with such a weird and intellectually bereft philosophy and ideology! Let this be state in a clear terms considering historical and modern strides the Igbo have made in education and the Igbo will not watch one imported ideology water down their strides !
Regardless of where the expression originated, the larger issue is not language or ethnicity. The real question is why some communities consistently produce high numbers of scholars, professionals, innovators, and entrepreneurs while others struggle with declining educational outcomes.
Among the Igbo, education has traditionally been regarded as one of life's greatest investments. Parents routinely sacrifice income, comfort, and convenience to ensure that their children receive quality education. Academic achievement is widely respected, and excellence in school is often celebrated within families and communities.
This emphasis on learning is reflected in the competitiveness of students from the South East. In one widely reported Federal Unity College admission cycle, the minimum admission scores included:
- Anambra – 139 - Imo – 138 - Enugu – 134 - Lagos – 133 - Ogun – 131 - Abia – 130 - Osun – 127 - Ekiti – 119 - Benue – 111 - Kaduna – 91 - Kano – 67 - Zamfara – 4 (male) / 2 (female)
While these figures are influenced by Nigeria's federal admission policy, they also illustrate how competitive admission can be for applicants from states such as Anambra, Imo, Enugu, and Abia.
Beyond classroom education, the Igbo also developed one of Africa's most successful indigenous economic institutions: Igba Boi, the apprenticeship system. Young people who cannot immediately proceed to university are encouraged to learn a trade or business under experienced entrepreneurs. After years of training, many are supported to establish businesses of their own, creating wealth, employment, and economic independence.
The result is a culture that values both intellectual achievement and practical enterprise. Whether through university education, technical training, or apprenticeship, the underlying philosophy remains the same: acquire knowledge, develop skills, create value, and contribute positively to society.
Every region in Nigeria can benefit from investing more in quality education, critical thinking, vocational training, and entrepreneurship. These are the foundations upon which prosperous societies are built. You took the time to write this rubbish in response to a foolish online meme movement ? |

jamesversion: Everything about Lagos is fake. I'm b3ing charged VAT for a pair of PumA shoes i bought for N280K in Lekki mall but i would beusing in PH because i reside in PH. Why didn't you buy it in PH? VAT is charged where the transaction occured and has nothing to do with it's final destination use. It is assumed all consumer goods are moveable assets . It's not where you intend to use it that matters but where you bought it from. |

El Rufai will post #200ml cash as bond while his sureties are expected to sign a bond that if El Rufai skips bail they will pay the bond and the court has determined that they must have properties in GRA, Kaduna that are worth at least the #200ml bond. The only money that El Rufai will drop from his own pocket is the #200ml for his bail bond. |
