My good people, please is it true that Open University Masters degree is not recognised by WES? Asking for a friend.

Thank you for giving me your time. I do not have a military background but hubby who is a non-accompanying spouse is a politician currently a member of a state house of Assembly, can this be a problem?

I got to know about Eligibility MET via phone call January this year, since then I've been in IP1 no progress.

I ordered notes through GCMS buddy on March 7th, ordered a new one through a friend who has PR and live in Canada last week. Both of them no show.

Pardon me please, if I am to contact Ralph how do I go about it? What do I ask him since he is not a staff of IRCC. Chai! Why my things dey be like this na.

CoCoLav:
How did you find out your eligibility was met?

Do you have a military background? Did they call your employer for verification? Additional verification sometimes has to do with one of these. If they are refusing to release your gcms notes and the 30 day statutory response period has elapsed, it means there is something in your gcms notes that they feel if disclosed will jeopardize their investigation.

If you are satisfied with the veracity of the claims in your application including the statutory questions you answered, then you can relax. You can also try emailing Ralph.

You can also try emailing the ATIP department by replying to the confirmation email you received when you ordered the notes.

Dont forget to mention:

- GCMS Tracking number
- Full name
- Client ID
- Address

See bigger BP issues. But Eligibility has been on MET since. I've ordered notes twice since March but I'm yet to receive any. O sun mi.
CoCoLav:
You need to order GCMS notes ASAP. Your application probably has a review required for eligibility.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Fshady: 1:16pm On May 09, 2019
Thank you. But, my eligibility status has been on MET since December. Does it matter?

Dear All,

Please has anyone received a mail like the one below from CPC Ottawa. AOR is 31st October so I'm past 6months timeline already.

I am on one the Indians' groups, trust me they can increase one's BP:

[b]Dear Sir/Madam,

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.

The cost of rent quoted here is not true.
ladymarshall:
Thank you. I just watched, very informative and helpful video. I just updated my estimated budget, thanks. I'm destined for the GTA (by choice) so I look forward to that next opinion video, maybe you do it in comparison with career and personal ambitions, not just cost. Like if my core field is IT and communications or finance, why shy away from the industry hub of the country, even though it's very expensive? Or if I am into Oil and Gas, why waste money in Toronto instead of living in Calgary or Fort McMurray? etc. (cos I feel "new immigrants" consist of very wide diverse people with different specialisations, status levels and ambitions, I might be wrong).

Thanks sis kiss

Hello House, I raised a CSE some days ago to add my newborn to my application. I gave birth to him in Toronto last month so he is a Canadian. I was on visitor's visa. IRCC.is asking me to upload LOE and his birth certificate. Please what should the LOE include? Who has had same situation before?

Thank you for response. i'll make do with the affidavit. Lol at running with his money.
SolutionsGuy:
This is not misery biko.
I believe the affidavit should suffice. But if it bothers you that much, get him transfer the POF to your own account and make the gift deed (gift deed isn't even necessary in this case, just include it in an LOE).

Or is he afraid you'll carry the money and run? (this is a joke pls!).

Elders in this house, i hail o. please i need urgent help. Hubby is an unaccompanying spouse and i am the primary applicant travelling with a toddler. My question is our POF is domiciled in hubby's account. He wants to get an affidavit to indicate that he is the one sponsoring our relocation and i have access to the said fund. Is this acceptable please. Someone please bail me out of my misery biko.

@hotstepper-Dear Hotstepper,

Thank you for being a readily available resource person on this platform. Please help my case. I entered Toronto last week Wednesday with my 13months old son. I am here to give birth (currently 29 weeks gone), but getting an apartment or a shared accommodation has been difficult. I currently stay in an airbnb room for $80 per night, please help a sister out. How can I get a shared accommodation, I've contacted Dr Ted Kosalka so it's likely I use Humber River. I'm open to change though.

Purpose of visit- Tourism(Summer Holiday).

Past travel history( Visa pages both expired andcurrent visas).

Sponsorship letter from hubby stating the amount he is giving us for the trip ( myself and little baby)

Letter from Hubby's office.

Hubby's statement of account.

My company papers.

Hotel and flight Reservation.

I think that's about it cos I didn't even know about statement of purpose.

ladylco:
Congratulations. Can you state the documents you submitted and your purpose of visit?
TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Fshady:
Visa Approved! I applied online on the 16th of May, did biometrics on the 17th of May and I just got a passport request letter this afternoon on the 6th of July.

Just thought to update the house on the timelines. I don't really know how to start a thread on here. Please does anyone know how long it takes to get passport back after submission?

Thank you all for your updates. On to the next
