EducationRe: What Is The Right Response To "How Do You Do? by Fuadx1(m): 9:58am On Aug 21, 2015
Yes, that was how we were tought in the secondary school "how do you do" but most at times people go with the common mistake of "am doing fine"
lampardizik:
Hello Nairalanders
so yesterday i learnt that the correct response to "how do you do?" is "how do you do".
it made no sense to me because i thought the logical response would be "fine" or "good" or stuffs like that, that is why i have brought this to NL to clarify. So professors in the house, let us know which is the correct response to "How Do You Do?".
"fine" or "how do you do"

geeez: No be only EDGE, na 3G

From my political permutations, there is a major divide between North and South

However, the political crinkum crankum that has enveloped Nigeria under GEJ has polarized the South

What this means is that if the North can come together, all they will need is just only one zone from the South to make it happen for them. Get the buy-in of the SW and pick a SS candidate as VP while promising the SW the Senate Presidency. Does winning get any easier dear brethren?

And you can be sure southwesterners will be very objective and not sentimental when sticking their thumbs on a one inch square patch of paper
u are very right..and the predominant north ll be distracted by pdp candidates: ATIKU,LAMIDO OR IBB. As Buhari's Popularity is not the match of entire nothern elites- ask shekarau and rubado abt 2011. The no.of pdp governors is'nt a yardtick 4 them winning presidential election in d north. This d north pattern since buhari joined d race.

PoliticsRe: I‘ll Not Contest In 2015 – Jonathan (2011) by Fuadx1(m): 4:46pm On Sep 09, 2013
Pukkah: You still haven't addressed my issues.

Obasanjo faced stiff opposition from the South West. Yes or No? Sharia came up during his reign. Were there any allegations of born to rule or ethnicity then?

Yar'Adua was attacked and called names like 'Yaradull'. Reuben Abati even wrote then that people asked for 'Yar'adua' at local restaurants anytime they wanted 'snail'! Boko Haram surfaced during Yar'Adua's rule. Was there any allegations of tribalism then?

Today, you guys are lampooning the Northerners, attacking Amaechi and calling him a traitor; you conveniently forget that some Northern governors are supporting Jonathan! Even Shema who is from Katsina (Yar'Adua's home state) is at present supporting Jonathan. That of Bauchi (Yuguda) is also supporting him, etc. Bamanga Tukur is supporting him.

The same Northern governors supported Jonathan against Buhari and Atiku. Yet, you still abuse them and call them unprintable names.

Why then do you still mouth 'born to rule' and all those divisive statements? huh Why not look at Jonathan based on merit? Why are you whipping up sentiments?

Did Jonathan promise to spend one term or not? Yes or no?

Why is the FG deploying instruments of the state to frustrate or attack perceived opponents of Jonathan or any other person that may have a presidential ambition?

The screening might be after sallah but don't tell us u were told rather, tell us u're guesin like we are all doing. Secondly, its obvious the delay is not as a result of any fasting because others are being screened even while fasting is going on. We've all got common sense here dude so stop attracting attention with gues work that we're all doing.tnx

one major general rang me yesterday evenin(he is in the selection board for nda regular) that they rounded off their assignment and are abt to go back to abuja. I asked him abt dssc/ssc, he pledge to confirm 4me when he got 2 abuja. Around 11pm he confirmed that the ssc/dssc selection ll come up after sallah-that it is still in proccess
