GTB, GTB,... GTB! They are really messing up big time. I don't care about what ever profit they declare. I strongly suggest there should be more clearity and transparency in their business wit back2dmatter:h customers. It's difficult to understand even some simple transaction with them these days. |

Car fires The main cause of vehicle fire is faulty wiring. In turn this can easily come about because of quack electricians, neglect or sloppy do-it-yourself electrical repairs. It only takes a few minutes for a fire to develop into an inferno. If you suspect a fire on the move you need to take prompt action. If the fire is inside the car with smoke coming from behind the dashboard: • Stop immediately turn off the ignition • Get out of the car as quickly as possible There is a real danger that the car will quickly fill with highly toxic smoke and fumes. If the fire is under the bonnet: • Choose a safe place to stop, away from places where the fire could spread if the car burns out. • Switch off the engine and get out of the car and DO NOT OPEN THE BONNET. Opening the bonnet allows air to get to the fire and might make it flare up. • If you have a fire extinguisher, loosen the bonnet just enough to aim it underneath. If you can't do this, stand back and call for assistance. General Earth or sand is useful for putting out fires in the absence of an extinguisher. A car rug or mat might be useful for smothering a fire. Don't use water on petrol fires; you may wash the burning petrol somewhere where it will cause more problems. Electrical fires can be stopped by disconnecting the battery or the appropriate wire. However, you should not attempt to do this unless you know what you are doing and can easily access the battery (or wire) without the risk of burns. Safety first!!! Always, always, always, get your passengers out of the car before doing anything else if you suspect fire. As explained above, toxic fumes can fill the car very quickly. Make sure that passengers (especially children) and pets are well out of harm's way, especially on motorways and other fast roads. Other drivers will be distracted and 'secondary' accidents can easily happen. Stay calm - stay safe! |
So...so...true! U try. Thumbs up! |
Hint: Saving money on petrol is like getting into shape. It takes some discipline and there are no quick fixes to get the results you want. So, What Can I Do to Improve my Fuel Economy and/or Reduce Automotive Emissions? There are several things you can do obtain the best possible fuel economy and produce the lowest possible emissions. • Avoid idling. Idling the engine wastes fuel and produces unnecessary pollution. Shut off the engine while waiting in traffic delays or while conducting drive-up transactions. Modern cars do not benefit from idling to warm up in cold weather. • Check tire pressure regularly. Keep your tires inflated to their recommended pressure. • Take action if your check engine light comes on. If the check engine light is illuminated, take your vehicle to a mechanic that has check engine (OBD) code reading capabilities and repair any malfunctioning parts. • Drive sensibly and observe speed limits. Driving fast and/or aggressively (rapid acceleration and hard braking) can significantly reduce your fuel economy. • Perform regular vehicle maintenance. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule. • Plan your trips. Get all of your errands done at once. Your engine is more efficient when it is warmed up, so one long trip is better for your car’s efficiency than many short trips. Don’t forget to carpool when possible. • Minimize vehicle weight and maximize aerodynamics. Think before you put something on top of your car or something heavy in, on, or towed-behind your car. For example, a car roof-top carrier will increase the vehicle’s frontal surface area and drag coefficients which will reduce your fuel economy. Adding mass to your car will also decrease fuel economy, so if you don’t need it, don’t carry it in or on your car. The following websites offer additional advice about how to improve your fuel economy and reduce your automotive emissions. www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/drive.shtml www.epa.gov/otaq/consumer/17-tips.htm www.epa.gov/fueleconomy/whatyoucando.htm www.epa.gov/otaq/consumer/18-youdo.htm www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/vehicles/fuel_economy_light.html www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/vehicles/fuel_economy_heavy.html |
Please pray for your child first then take her for deliverance prayers. Believe it or not, it's spiritual. |
herlonso:I strongly agree. |
I wonder which way the story would have turned if Ogechi had not replied the slap. Nothing would have happened or perhaps another slap would have followed. Again, i just wonder if Ogechi had turned out to be one of either the principal or teacher's child or relative. What do you think would have happened? No self-respect at all! |
This is an important info!!! |
chuksmad: Some men are really suffering in silence. The first world countries are paying for it now, thats why u see a lot cases of divorce in western world. That is why i prefer the moslem world the way they handle marital issue. They understand better. What has happened along the line? This is not right and it's not suppose to be like this!!! |
