Emeka Okwuosa, the group chief executive officer (GCEO) of Oilserv Group, says the Ajeokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline project will be completed by July 2024. Okwuosa made the promise during a site inspection led by Ekperikpe Ekpo, minister of state for petroleum resources (gas). The minister visited the Pai River crossing section in the Kwali area council of the federal capital territory (FCT), Abuja, to assess work progress. Oilserv is the contractor executing segment A of the 614-kilometer pipeline being developed by Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited to transport natural gas from southern to central Nigeria. The $2.8 billion project represents phase one of the 1,300km-long Trans-Nigerian Gas Pipeline (TNGP) project being developed as part of Nigeria’s master plan to utilise its surplus gas resources. Flagged off in 2020, Mele Kyari, NNPC’s GCEO, had said the project would be completed by the third quarter (Q3) of this year. Speaking on the project during the tour, Okwuosa said the Pai River crossing section is peculiar, hence the deployment of horizontal directional drilling technology for perfect execution of the project. On the completion date, he said the project would be delivered by July or August 2024. “From our schedule, I know we are finishing next year. On the main pipeline itself that will deliver the gas, we are optimistic that by July, or August next year, we would be done,” Okwuosa said. “We have our schedule as far as where we are today and we are working hard to mitigate and make sure we deliver. “A lot of what we have to deal with in the next six months will be the river crossings area.” Okwuosa commended the federal government and the NNPC for their support toward the speedy completion of the gas pipeline. He said his firm is always in synergy with NNPC as “they support and raise the funds to keep the project ongoing”. “Our commitment is more than 100 percent. Though we have challenges, but our job is to deal with the challenges and make sure the project is completed as scheduled,” Okwuosa added. The Oilserv GCEO also acknowledged the minister’s zeal on the completion of the project, stating that his “commitment towards the development of gas as a source of energy in Nigeria is unequalled”. ‘AKK PROJECT TO CHANGE ENERGY DELIVERY LANDSCAPE’ On the importance of the gas pipeline development, Okwuosa said the AKK project is very critical in gas delivery in Nigeria. “After completion, we would be able to have gas and NNPCL, the owner, would be able to deliver gas to the northern part of Nigeria, but also spur development of gas in the southern part of Nigeria and create a lot of wealth as well in the south,” he said. “With gas available, you have power, compressed natural gas, CNG (for vehicles to run with and reduce dependency on PMS), build fertilizer plants, helping agriculture, and so on. “This project will change the landscape of energy delivery and the economy of Nigeria will change.” On his part, Ekpo expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the project but harped on the need for it to be completed on schedule. The minister said when it is completed, many ailing industries “will come to limelight”, and there would be “efficient power supply, availability of compressed natural gas (CNG) for vehicles, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for cooking”. “Today the global world is talking about gas and we have it in abundance, the reserve is enough to take us for the next hundred years and service other nations. Nigeria should actually be the hub of gas resources,” Ekpo said. The minister said the prosperity of Nigeria depends on the project, as it would guarantee energy security in the long term with a boost in investment. https://www.thecable.ng/oilserv-ceo-akk-gas-pipeline-project-to-be-completed-july-2024/amp

Peter Obi that appointed Ibo as his campaign coordinators in states like Sokoto, Borno, Nasarawa, Lagos etc! Lol the funny thing is that you can only fool yourself and your likes Nigeria is not RadioBia.fraud where your delusional concocted fairytale lies are swallowed. If PO contests 100 times, he will lose 100%! The only gentleman thing about Obi is his feminine voice! Only you believe in your lies I don't even support what Tinubu is doing and I believe he should spread his appointments to other southern region, but save us with that PO rhetoric bullshit!!! You need to understand that those generations then were the Palestinians of today. They had Jews and Arabs and both were Isrealis prior to the coming of Christ, just like the present day Palestine that has Arabs and Jews . After ascension of Christ or the cruxifision of Christ, it was left with the Arabs Isrealis (now Palestians) We also have Banu Israil "Children of Israel", in Egypt led by Moses during the Pharoas time There was nothing like Israel as a country. Prophet Sulaiman and Dawoud reigned in Jerusalem, presently Palestine The name Isreal resurfaced again in 1945 to 48 when the UK in an attempt to conquer the Arabs of that land and take over Jerusalem, Gaza, Damascus and the Aqsa mosque foisted strangers into them and decided to give them the state of Isreal as a country that's why you will never see a document or anything related to Israel as a country/land perior to 1945 Obiedun: Obiedun: |
Lol your showing me jews. I said "Israel" OmoGomesIlorin: |
Lol. There has always been jews in Palestine, but not Israel as a country As you can see, the coin clearly states "Palestine" as a country, not Arab. I want an evidence of anything stating Isreal perior to 1945 Fejoku: Fejoku: |
Jews* Obiedun: |
It was under the British Mandate, when European Jews started migrating there. Fejoku:

If you can show me anything dated 1945 downwards related to Isreal as a country. I promise to wire you 50k

Israel got too used to massacring civilians with warplanes that they forgot to prepare their soldiers for ground battles. What Hamas is doing to the “most powerful army in the Middle East” is incredible. I can’t keep up with Israeli casualties. Insane times we live in. Israelis are not even pretending to strike military targets in Gaza anymore They are attacking full residential buildings, hospitals, schools etc in plain site with no restraint. Israeli vs Palestine casualties

You will continue hating online and there is nothing you can do about it! The north will continue getting contracts and prosper, your antagonistic hatred for us can't stop our progress You should concentrate on your region like how others do! Maazieze: |
Lol the guy has ran away as usual, cowards! And they wonder why an Ibo is yet to produce the presidency with all the hate and propaganda ![]() nairalanda1: |
Yes, I read further. The other 2 Oilserve is owned by Ibo, while Macready Oil is also a southern. So why cherry pick only the north? Maazieze: |
"Oilserv Limited, A.A RANO Nigeria Limited, Macready Oil & Gas Service Company Limited, and MRS Oil Nigeria Plc were the four companies awarded the lucrative contracts of maintaining the country’s pipelines to fast track the flow of crude oil to refineries and transport its byproducts back to the country." lol 2 northerners and southerners each got the contract, but the issue is why should north get it ![]() |
Is the owner of Oilserve not Ibo, Mr.Emeka? Maazieze: |
Your welcome. Don't forget to update us DiskJokeyManic: |
She's into you, but forming hard to get. I suggest you keep giving her the attention she craves for like 2 weeks. Invite her for a date in the third week and tell her what you observed After the date(if you make a good impression), she will be totally into you, but will likely continue the "hard to get attitude". This is the point you totally withdraw the attention you have been giving her, don text, don't call! She will be wondering whether you have moved on and then she will start doing the chasing now DiskJokeyManic: |
Lol if you didn't, you missed out. Ladies had a test of their medicine and they clearly didn't like it ![]() Funny tweets everywhere, didn't know south Africans were savages. Una go laff tire!! ![]() https://twitter.com/sk1tguru/status/1708897294207082668?t=zIXeoydvZ_wy7CX_f_n4Nw&s=19 |
