In spite of the current hardship Nigerians are facing, I'm yet to see any serious group protest, but during GEJ regime we witnessed massive protest against his subsidy removal.. So the question here is why is everybody mute about this current one |

Kenai: Wah wah waaaah!
"South East lost by not supporting Buhari"
"South East put their eggs in one basket"
"South East miscalculated by not supporting Buhari"
"South East is blinded by tribalism"
"South East was politically naive and lacked sophistication for not supporting change"
"South East will be on the wrong side of history for not supporting Buhari"
"South East miscalculated seriously by not supporting Buhari"
...
Well, with the events playing out, it sure looks to me like the South-East were the WISER ones for refusing to be deceived by the FAKE change and propaganda.
When history comes to judge you and you think of the role you played in electing a 73 year-old illiterate tribal supremacist and coup-plotting ex-dictator to rule your country of over 170 million people in the 21st century, would you be proud of yourself?
From "Buhari is a reformed democrat", the new narrative being pushed by his lapdogs today is "democracy is an obstacle to the war on corruption". "Let us withdraw the constitution to help Buhari fight corruption".
Your parents queued up for long hours in 1984 for milk, rice and beans; you'd have to be a gullible dimwit to think Buhari gives a damn about you queueing up for long hours in 2016 for fuel.
A people with no knowledge of their history will never be gifted with the skills of retrospective analysis, and are bound to keep repeating their mistakes. This is exactly why it was easy to pick up an expired ethnic bigot and despotic illiterate from the dustbin of history, and dust him up into a "reformed democrat" in the eyes of the gullible, ignorant populace. can I have your autograph please |

politicalpastor: In as much as i support buhari for the last election , the arrest of Goodluck Jonathan is totally unacceptable Nigerians should avoid be plugged into crises. No matter what Jonathan is still the man that save Nigeria from what would have been the greatest civil war Buhari and his Efcc back off. We need peace in Nigeria not war. If you think military might can win wars, Ask the U S military or U S president about Vietnam or Afghanistan. my dear save your quote, PMB is just chasing shadows he just wants to use EFCC to prove that he's not a coward, that's a bad move for him |

mars123: so we shouldn't have nuclear energy because of fear fear. No risk no reward bro. Do you know how many countries smaller than Nigeria that use nuclear energy? Even Fukushima didn't stop Japan because of the import of nuclear power. If Nigerians are going soft, we bring in expatriate again cus that's what we do best. bros is not a matter of size, but the people resident in it, Nigeria is a country known for lack of maintenance culture, and deeply divided by saboteurs.. Take this petrol scarcity for instance, do you want to tell me that this country can't even supply fuel products to the masses? Hell no it's because of sabotage by the system controlled by Cabals.. Until we fix these problems, my dear Nuclear energy for us is just another delusional project. |
Politics › Re: Nuclear Energy Is Good For Nigeria – Femi Adesina by funkyibodude(m): 5:39pm On Apr 01, 2016 |
CACAWA: Lol...it appears someone went to the wrong summit.
It is called Nuclear Security Summit and not Nuclear Energy Summit. The issue to be discussed is the need to protect nuclear assets against terror minded countries, rebels and leaders. The only reason Nigeria was invited was because of her position as a member of the UNited Nations Security Seat.
If Mr Femi Adesina knows what he is saying, why did Mr Buhari go with the minister of defence, Director of Nigerian Intelligence Agency NIA and a few other security personnel but didn't go with anyone from ministry of Power, solid minerals and investment?
As an expert, may I make it clear that to develop nuclear energy in the first place, you need to submit a detail report of your assessment. Indicating how you wish to access the highly radioactive uranium (which is in some African countries anyway), how you hope to secure it from health hazards and terrorists, what technical team you have trained or are training To deal with the complexities attached, what Water bodies you intend to located the plants nearby.
In fact before this can be approved, you need to show your strength in protecting ordinary oil pipelines and electricity facilities.
Wait o, is it the people that refused to sell ordinary AK 47 and fighter jets to you that will now give you permission to explore nuclear energy? Knowing fully well that it is the same plants you'd use to generate nuclear weapons?
Nna forget dat tin Biko I solidly concur with you, my thoughts exactly when I saw the heading. PMB thinks that nuclear energy is Childs play, we can't even maintains ordinary gas turbines not to talk of developing nuclear energy, probably femi adesina haven't heard of nuclear melt down, Chernobyl and Fukushima nuclear disasters comes into my mind. In a country where vandalism is the order of the day, can we risk developing a nuclear power plant? Would the nuclear watch dog IAEA allow it?. |
