Received lots of calls already. I must make emphasis, pls as much as you like yabatech don't let that drive get you to be scammed.
Most of the process can be done by yourself.
Candidates will have to Printout a Bank Payment Advise from the Portal.
All you need is SURNAME, FIRSTNAME, OTHERNAME, EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER, & PROGRAM TYPE [e.g ND Part Time] then proceed to the bank for the payment of Ten Thousand Naira excluding bank charges. you will need to fill the registration form thereafter online then submit with your passport photograph. When done with your online registration, you will receive an SMS to that effect, the SMS will contain Yabatech Requirements for Submission of Application forms to the Admission Unit.

@digits, i thought as much. Solutions as such cannot be undertood just like that. I really dont use textbooks, i go online for solutions and practical examples. Anyway consult a "further/advanced engineering maths" mind u, I said futher/advanced not ordinary engineering maths.
There u would find teachings and examples to triangular decomposition. For the iterative methods get any textbook on Numeriacl Analysis. A good one. Its a textbook mainly for compuet science students. That would help.

The Triangular decomposition says you write the system of equations as vector matrices first. I.e. Ax = b

Now let A = LU
where L = lower triangular matrix:
L11 0 0
L21 L22 0
L31 L22 L33

and U = upper triangular matrix
1 U12 U13
0 1 U23
0 0 U33

Now multiply LU above and equate it to A using the elements in the matrix A to obtain d value for L11, L21, L22, L31, L22, L33 as well as U12, U13, U23 and U33.

After getting these values ur
Ax = B the becomes
LUx = B

let Ux = P where P is a single Columbus vector matrix. I.e
P1
P2
P3.

Now instead of LUx = B use LP = B. Use this to solve for P and get the values for P1,2 and 3.

Thereafter use Ux = P. Since u now know the values for P1, 2,3 as well as U. Hence u obtain the value for X1, X2, X3.

I'd explain jacobi and gauss siedel later. It involves an iterative process using a formula till u get to a convergence point.

@digit90 nice thread. Well of all the methods the gaussian or gaus jordan elimination method and the triangular decomposition method(aka crouts method) i'm ok with.

The iterative methods to are ok i.e gauss siedel and Jacobi iterative method the only prob with them is they are time consuming due to iterations.

@arsenwise, you stand a chance of been admitted. I have seeing a couple of students from ur school with same qualification been admitted. It all depends upon the grade of candidates applying for the same course as urs as well as other factors.

Despite that u stand a good chance. To be rest assured u can also runs it. I mean a genuine one. And beware of scams as well.

Yes, yabatech accepts both waec and neco whether as 2sittings combined or 1sitting of whichever. It also accepts any GCE.

pls in my candid advice, beware of fraudsters on this thread. Do not pay anybody any money without surety of services to be rendered(in which in most cases, u dont need any service). This is a warning. Nobody shud call me and tell me he paid money to anybody and didnt get anything. I have warned. Advice and consultation shud be free in this regard.

@sparko1 if ur instituiting had been accreditted by appropriate authorities and its been recognized then u stand a chance. However, i'd still advice you to come to the school admission office to make good enquiries yourself with your credenntials. Thanks.

@kaysy why can't you be realistic. @olayemi22 didn't specify which of the programs he/she was goin for. More so in my 5years knowing yabatech, i know yabatech admits lots of ppl with awaiting result and even ignore those with complete good results.
Like i stated earlier Yabatech accepts awaiting result for ond part-time programmes but
not for hnd. So it depends which u are looking into. However if u have awaiting result for you hnd ensure your result is out befor September this year cos i know that the admission process could be extended till October/november except if the school wants to resume by October.
So when ur result is out you can then apply. Its as simple as that. I tell you many ppl that applied last year for hnd did not follow due process yet they were admitted. I know many who didn't submit transcript as requested and they got admission. They later submit their transcript during registration.

@ olayemi22 Yabatech accepts awaiting result for ond part-time programmes but not for hnd. So it depends which u are looking into. However if u have awaiting result for you hnd ensure ur result is out befor September/october this year.

For all those who are interested in the form, I'd like to inform you that despite the form has been officially announced and declared public its not fully on sale. In a week or two weeks from now.

A lower from mapoly doesn't affect you, but you need to know that it might consider other grades before yours, as well as its students with ND. However with 'runs' you could find ur way in.
The part time in yabatech is now for 2years i.e. Six semesters.

The form publicly and officially announced is for OND part time and HND full time and part time,.

For those who have been waiting and asking me when yabatech form would be out for the programmes above, congratulations. The forms are out.

PROCEDURES:
Print out payment details online @ www.yabatech.edu.ng and make a payment of 10,000 into ZENITH,FIDELITY or
INTERCONTINENTAL BANK. i.e. Yabatech's account.
Preferably there is a Zenith Bank in the school to obtain this easily.

SUBMISSION OF FORMS CLOSES IN SIX WEEKS TIME. HOWEVER I CAN SAY IT WOULD BE EXTENDED BUT THE EARLIER YOU DO THE BETTER.

REQUIREMENTS
ND (part time) For 6 semesters - 2 years programme.
5 O LEVEL CREDIT WHICH MUST INCLUDE MATHS & ENG.LANG.

HND(FT & PT) 4semesters & 6 semesters respectively. Both 2 years programme
SSCE REQIREMENT AS SET BY JAMB, ND (MIN. OF LOWER CREDIT FROM ANY SCHOOL NOW!!!), MINIMUM 1YR INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT.

My problem with my nokia x2-01 is that of the calender. I noticed that whenever i set a calendar alarm/reminder, i get notified 5 or more than 5 hours of the time i set on the calender reminder. It really makes me lose many appointments hence unreliable unlike my other devices.
Also i observed that without any file in the image folder of the phone the memory increases in a random order, without a specific time interval. What should i do. My imei is 356256043057684.

Please can anyone educate us on the importance of FOI to our education in Nigeria.
There's still problem of private and public offices holding on to their data and vital information whenever schools and students request for them for one purpose or the other, mainly for research on final year projects?
Does the FOI answer these problem and what happens if any officer or institution defaults by refusing to give access to information.
We need good contributions!
