Jose rushed Bailly because he needed to allow the others to rest ahead of when Bailly will be away for the Nations Cup. But he didn't really go into the team straight. He started from the bench, then played right back. The pairing of Jones and Rojo that time was rock solid, but if they kept playing Europa, League, FA cup and Capital 1 matches, they would have faged out.

Bailly's performance is good but his style of play sometimes exaggerate his quality. A tackle another defender would win quietly, Bailly would muscle out the opposition and appeared to hold the ball with confidence. However, he has been exposed in some occasions, and he also struggles when big forwards play over his shoulders.
