Politics / Re: 2 Opposition Parties Deny Allegiance To Buhari by funmo(m): 9:39pm On Mar 20, 2015
PRESS RELEASE BY KOWA PARTY IN RESPECT TO PURPORTED ALLEGIANCE TO APC

March 19, 2015.
A DISCLAIMER ON A PURPORTED KOWA PARTY WORKING
AGREEMENT WITH THE APC

It has come to the attention of the leadership of KOWA
Party publications in some national dailies and news in
some electronic media of a purported "working agreement"
with the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu
Buhari, at a meeting of 13 political Parties with the General
held on Tuesday March 18 in Abuja.
KOWA Party hereby unequivocally dissociates itself from
the so-called "working agreement" of which we were never
a part. KOWA Party neither attended any meeting with Gen.
Buhari nor any solidarity visit to him or his Party and we
challenge anyone to prove the contrary or at least provide
the attendance list of the so-called endorsement meeting.
As it is well known, nationally and internationally, KOWA
Party has a Presidential candidate in the person of
Professor Comfort Oluremi Sonaiya who has been
campaigning around the country and holding Town Hall
meetings in states across the country including today in
Yola, Adamawa state, where she met with a big crowd of
artisans, professionals, religious leaders, traders,
academics, etc.

KOWA Party condemns strongly attempts to drag the Party
into an unsolicited alliance and unnecessary controversy
by those whose evil intentions are known to them only. We
have our set of objectives and ideological orientation that
are clearly different from all the other political Parties in
the country and we don't see any meeting points of
agreement, alliance, or endorsement of candidates of other
Parties at least for now. KOWA is contesting the 2015
general elections in 17 states of the federation with 154
candidates in all categories of the elections. Having
worked so hard to get this far, we do not intend to throw
away our mandate to another Party or candidate. We are
determined to make significant impact in these elections
and nothing will push us away from this direction.

The Party has commenced investigations into this
condemnable act and will deal with the issue subject to
our findings with the seriousness it deserves. There is no
individual or group of individuals or officers of the Party
that has the authority to unilaterally enter into any
agreement or endorsement/alliance with any candidate or
political Party without the express permission of the
Party's Board of Trustees as clearly stated in Article 18
Sections 1 - 4 of the KOWA Party Constitution. Any
national or state officer of the Party found to have violated
this section of the Party's Constitution shall face severe
sanctions which may include dismissal from the Party.
KOWA Party craves the protection of its hard-earned
credibility and will not allow anything or anyone damage it.

Vote Remi Sonaiya for president, vote KOWA Party all the
way.

Together, we make a difference.

SGD:
KOWA Party's National Secretariat, Abuja.

If I should judge by the single mother I know well, being loose is one very wrong notion to hold against single mums, rather they happen to the reserved few who are willing to bear the consequences of their actions, have a good conscience not to commit murder just to avoid the judgemental society. They're less exposed to a casual sex life as against those loose aristo girls who spend every other weekend with different men in different cities and yet will never be caught pregnant as they're too familiar with methods to adopt in snuffing life out of the unborns without as much as a thought. Maybe unmarried mums should best describe them as for every mum, their is a dad out there, they're just absent.

SAFETY TIPS AND GUIDELINES FOR NYSC MEMBERS DURING AND AFTER THE ELECTIONS

(This piece is strictly for corpers : either part of the electoral officers or not, and anyone who has relations or friends serving at the moment, especially in the North and South-South - two areas with the top two presidential candidates)

As the presidential elections draw near and near, the 2011 post-election violence won't stop coming to my mind. A lot of youth corpers were murdered in cold blood, allegedly because the present APC candidate lost. And as they say, history has a strange way of repeating itself, but God forbid this time around. But to be safe and to avoid stories that touch, corpers should make sure they do the following during and after the elections as applicable to their conditions.

AVOID SHADY AND/OR ANY FORM OF ELECTIONS AND ELECTORAL MALPRACTICE(S)

IF POSSIBLE LEAVE FOR YOUR HOME / BASE / HOUSE / TOWN IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

MAKE SURE YOU ARE CLOSE TO (A STONE THROW), OR IN THE ARMY BARRACKS FEW HOURS BEFORE THE FINAL RESULTS ARE ANNOUNCED. I REPEAT, THE BARRACKS

PLEASE BROADCAST TILL IT REACHES ALL SERVING CORPERS!

SINGLE MOTHERS AND THE MARRIAGE TALK

There have been cases of discrimination against single and never-been-
married mothers when marriage is brought to fore. Truth be told, the
fears of those against it is well understood. But it takes strength to be for
them and extra-strength on the part of the man who wishes to marry
such a lady. I will weigh the for and against arguments side by side.

AGAINST

They are loose

These people are of the belief that any lady with a child outside wedlock
is loose and must be avoided at all cost at all cost, they see them as
plagues. A few of these ladies can actually be loose, but that doesn't
mean all are.

Added responsibility of a child

In most cases, the new husband assumes responsibility over the child
that isn't his. And most families won't have that happen to their son. It
only takes a financially stable man to take care of this situation.

Go for someone unused

Anti-single-mothers will always come up with reasons why you should go
for someone who hasn't experienced child labour yet.

FOR

Everybody makes mistake

I belong to those who have nothing against single mums, as I believe
anyone isn't perfect when it comes to this issue. Anyone who isn't
married and not celibate can have a child out of wedlock too.

True love overcomes

If you truly loves her and she reveals to you that she has a child,
marrying her wouldn't be issue.

She is a mother she will care more with experience

Because she is a mother, she has added advantage in terms of taking
care of the children to be borne. And her motherly care sometimes
extends to the husband too.

LOL. The arrogant manner by which this Funmo guy is subtly begging for the job is so funny yet pathetic. Makes me recall a similar incident years back.

I organized a recruitment process and one of the emails I received from an applicant, stated something along the lines of, "I am not looking for a job, but a company to help grow, so you should be wise and select me to grow your company". cheesy imagine the cheekiness!

Of course his CV was sent to the trash!

Beyond your so called talent or skill, your attitude is KEY!

Having mentioned that, op your offer is truly laughable!

lmao

a thin line there is between arrogance and ego ma'am

Is there a better way I should respond to an offer like this?

I won't Even disturb me... someone who wants to belittle professional writing doesn't deserve a better reply

and I'm not begging...

check out the site I mentioned above and deduce why I am not
