Thought as much. I just saw 320k on a page. If so then, if application doesn't go up then points for the draw will drop. The last draw was 441. Going through CIC page I noticed that most of this year's points were low compared with previous years. I am forecasting that as from September, there will be a significant reduction in the points needed to secure an ITA, points might go as low as 400 sef.

There is no maximum, though they typically keep it under 500,000. I think highest ever has been less than 300k. Not sure though. Why do you ask?

I just got a call now and caller was telling me how important the National identity card and number is and that it can prevent you from leaving the shores of this country. Right now it is going to be one of the things you have to show before you are issued a Nigerian passport.

I get confused too. But I think it works in two different ways tho. First: when your CRS score is lower than 400 and you are in the pool you can get nominated by generous provinces I.e Ontario without even applying to them.

Secondly: while still in the pool, you can check out for when provinces open up for people to apply. Although you will pay application fee for example Saskatchewan province it is usually $250 CAD. Note in the first scenario you do not pay any application fee.
The reason you may want to go through the second option is because no matter what you do, you might be unable to increase your CRS above 400 in this case, 40 years and above with the maximum point of 45 for age will definitely be needing a province nomination.

Mindful that when you get a PN, your CRS will get an addition of 600 points which when you accept you will then get an ITA under PNP route. All the same since eventually you will get your PR but PNP application fee is more this is why people prefers the normal ITA without having a PN.

You have all it takes. A mouth watering CRS score will do the magic, in no time you will get ITA.

I am the PA and I have my IELTS and ECA. My husband has IELTS but his school has not even sent his transcript to IQAS for ECA.
Question:
1) Can I start the EE process with my IELTS and ECA and his IELTs. The CRS tool score is 459 with this.
2) If we do get ITA before he gets his ECA, do we still need to upload his ECA? Or no need and he can just use it to get a job in Canada or will it affect the PR chances?
3) Because I am the PA, he will transfer the POF to my account and I can submit LOE, statement etc. But does he also need to submit his own statement of accounts/bank reference letter since he is my dependent?

My personal experience. I ordered for my transcript from a UK uni to PG school in Ibadan more than a year ago and UI claim they've not received it. I checked back with my school and I got facts they actually did send the transcript. I think UI of all schools should have a good mail record system. It really shows the kind of system we are operating if ordinary to send and receive transcript or verify transcripts becomes an holy grail. No wonder people with very good jobs are leaving.

Hello, pls focus on retaking your ielts. Sadly ur score is low however you can improve on ur score by practicing more. The secret behind getting a crs score above 400 is to ace ielts test. Pls don't be discouraged, do more practicing you will make it. Good luck

Why don't you let the better score in ielts be the principal applicant?. Try using both ielts on the crs calculator and see for the difference.

Hello,ielts score is LRSW..86.57.57 (principal)and husby is 7.58.57.07.5.total crs is 386. If my reading is changed to 7 the crs will be 420. Can i ask for a remark for my reading exam and probabilty that it will be increased to 7. Or what other way can i increase our crs if 420will be too low for ita.. Am about to do my Wes for B.sc.kindly advice..

IELTS test has four component which are
Listening
Writing
Reading
Speaking.
Your score in each of the band determines what you get as an overall band.
CLB 7 and higher is required for EE through FSW category.

Msc is sufficient. I asked similar question. You should just evaluate ur Msc and forget BSc u still get maximum point for ur Msc evaluation.

I recently understand that IRCC requires one to evaluate the highest degree only. the degree Im having trouble with is my first degree whereas I also have my Msc degree. Can anyone confirm that M.Sc evaluation is sufficient. If the B.Sc is not required to be evaluated, I can just request WES to knock if off my credentials submitted and request them to evaluate only my MSC

Really angry and feeling devastated right now. July 8th exam result just came out and it was a mess up for me. LSRW-7.5,7,6.5,7.5. Feel so hurt and tired of the whole thing. Ain't doing dat exam again perhaps for now. Gotta take a break, Ontario might call while chilling being an IT person with 381 which is possibly hitting 390 after spouse's ECA or EE cut off just come down to 390 while I believe will happen someday from a personal study. I will be glad to embrace any of the stated options.

Gotta take a break but before dat lemme ask for a remark in listening and reading. Who knows, something good might come outta dat cos I'm a bit optimistic about it especially for the listening.

Guyz, can someone please list all the steps involved in asking for a remark biko. Dat's all I need for now.

It takes about 10 working days - if posted to a UK address.I used bank statement and WES letter, you can even use IELTS letter. I provided NI. But I dont think it matters as my wife did not submit NI when she did hers and all went well.

Yes it does.

After carefully studying a lot about EE, I discovered that you need to ace ielts test properly at least L8,W7,R7,S7 for you to get ITA.
If you can get your spouse to write ielts too with ur BSc, you stand a chance of getting ITA.

Is it possible to get up to 400 in CRS? I have tried to use the highest IELTS scores possible to make calculations but can't get beyond 350.

I submitted 2 statements from different banks for hubby and I, passport photograph, passport page. I didn't submit NI card or DL (didn't want to overdo.) I put my marriage cert as additional docs because I claim to bear another name though my I still bear my maiden name on my documents including my passport.
Keep it simple.

Going through the thread then I became scared learning about province nomination blah blah blah. Now I understand, with a score of a little bit above 400 then I stand a chance.

What's your CRS score presently. If it's above 400, you should expect NOI from Ontario.

Just visited the WES webpage and there's a section to upload WEAC result. I want to get my MSC and undergrad degree assessed, must I do an assessment for WAEC?
