Evaluate ur Msc industrial maths with Wes, write ielts exams and u are good to go. Goodluck quote author=Jahluv post=62934066]Hello Everyone, Please I am new on this thread and I will like to start my journey to acquire ITA. Though I have read previous post, I will like to ask some few questions. I currently have B.Ed in Maths and Msc Industrial Maths. I have taught Maths for 7 years in a senior secondary school.
1. I will like to know if I need a provincial teaching certificate before I can apply for ITA as a teacher.
2. Please do I also need a provincial nomination to apply.
3. What province do I stand a chance to get nominated as a Maths teacher.
Please any advice and suggestions to help me migrate to Canada as a teacher will be deeply appreciated.

Greetings everyone.
They say everything that has advantages must have disadvantages, having said that, Nairaland has always been a place people come to seek for information and I am one of them, However, it is always advisable to read CIC's website for concrete and updated information. Overtime, I noticed people totally bank on the information gotten on here. Please a token of advice is to combine info gotten on here and on CIC's website in other to avoid stories that touch.
I knew about EE long before now and I heard it takes about 2years for the processing and that discouraged me but later I heard that it takes 6 months for the whole process and I decided to give it a shot. The first thing I did was to read about it. I read for about 2days to at least get a glimpse of what's up. I even went further to research about jobs and living conditions in Canada.
For those that want to embark on this journey, it worth it to do a little research and read to save the stress of asking too many questions and if possible you can provide answers to questions.
God will crown all of our efforts in Jesus name.
Kind Regards. |

When you register it, you will be given a tracking code I don't think it works anyways. I sent a document to Australia using NIPOST and it got delivered in less than three weeks. Also, I sent my transcript from UK to WES using royal mail and it took a month. So relax, it will be delivered NIPOST is effective. But instead u can fax ur certificate as some1 suggested. sleekchic: Register it, How do you mean please, how much did you pay to send your certificate to WES using NIPOST? I sent mine since last month, it's over 20 working days and my profile still says 'awaiting documents' but I only paid 450naira so I can't really complain. |

Forever just kidding max of 15 working days if you register it. Nipost is somehow more effective than Royal mail. adaifx: Please how long will it take nipost to send a parcel to WES office |

Any time I practice the ielts listening test on you tube, I always score between 33 and 34 never exceeded that. I don't know what to do oh. I dey open my ears and brain properly still I get 33 and 34. Sometimes I even intentionally create an exam condition by getting tensed just for evaluation purpose.
Pls ielts guru in d house. Should i be worried? ECA almost complete but the fear of ielts is giving me wisdom right now. |

The last draw was 433. Not even close to 700. Dunni1113: Hello good morning,
Please if u can avoid pnp by re writing ur ielts, pls do. It's a more preferable option. But if u still want to go tru the MPNP route, the 100 scale point is to determine ur eligibility which u must have abt 67, while the 1000 points is used in selecting candidates. But the issue now is that u must have at least over 700 points to be selected.
The good thing abt MPNP is that they make monthly draws but na to meet the 700 be the problem well except u schooled there, have a blood relation or have an employment. |

Greetings to everyone in the house.
I want to use this medium to pray for all those that wrote their ielts yesterday and that are believing God for great score. Do not be worried, the Lord will perfect it in Jesus name. And those that are awaiting PPR, the Lord will do it. Go on and book your flight ahead in faith.
And to all those having one issue or the other in their application, God will make everything perfect in Jesus name. Just have faith. God bless you all in Jesus name and have a great week ahead. |

In my opinion I think your husband should be the PA. His age is okay, he has MSC which can be easily evaluated by WES. You can do ur own evaluation later when you about leaving for Canada. I think the main focus should be getting PR first how u get it shouldn't matter now. Pls try to talk ur husband into it if he isn't down with the plan, make sure he aces ielts and ur worries are over. Good luck and God bless. schules: Thanks everyone for the contributions .I will like to clarify if I should use the Wes ECA to get Ita while I start the mcc processing now.I was told he doesn't take time for doctors that schooled outside Nigeria. Pls my people how true is this oooo before I enter one chance.pls help. |

Thanks for prompt response.
This is actually the questions asked (copied from CIC site)
1. In the last three years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have in Canada? It must have been full-time (or an equal amount in part time).
**Options given None Less than one year one year and above
I answered none since I have not been to Canada.
2.During this period, which National Occupation Classification (NOC) level is most of the experience in? If you do not have any Canadian work experience during this period, please choose "None of the above". If you are using the correct CIC CRS calculator, this question simply asked for the number of years you have experience in with your present NOC. If you chose No in the drop down menu, you won't be able to proceed and the systems identifies you as not qualified for express entry.
**Options given A B 0 None of the above
I answered None of the above since I have not been to Canada.
Then I was told I am not eligible to apply.
QUESTION: 1. Should I have answered - one year and above and also placed my NOC which is A or ...? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by funshobabs(m): 1:04pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
For your Noc, it should be the number of years at ur present job. In this case you have 12 years experience. So you select 3 years and above. Greetings. JORN: Good afternoon Fam.
Its so nice to be here.
I have been reading the threads for days unending and i believe the information received have been really helpful to so many persons in cluding me.
Thank you all.
I have a little challenge and I pray to be given a helping Hand. This is it:
1. I have done my IELTs with the following scores: L 8; R 7; W 6; S 7.5 2. Sent my ECA to ICAS and have been replied 3. have a 12 years Experience as a teacher with Bsc Industrial Mathematics and PGDE 4. NOC is 'A 4031' 5. Have a wife and three Children 6. I am 40yrs old 7. Just got admitted for Msc Mathematics 8. Now tried using the come to Canada online tool to check for my eligibility and along the line was asked how many years experience do i have as a skilled worker in Canada, then my NOC. I replied none for each since i have not been to Canada and was told i was not eligible to apply. Should I have used answered on the affirmative based on the fact that i already posses this skills in Nigeria as well as the NOC in Nigeria?
What are my Chances?
Thank you. |

Application processing fee is $550 while Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is $490. Got that?
