Events › Re: Why Is The Wedding Ring Worn On The Fourth Finger? by Fuup(m): 4:30pm On Oct 21, 2009

chisomquee:
There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese,

Thumb represents your Parents

Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings

Middle finger represents your-Self

Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner

& the Last (Little) finger represents your children

Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold
them together - back to back
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip
to tip (As shown in the figure above)

Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents), , they will
open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong,
and have to leave you sooner or later.

Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers
(representing siblings), , they will also open, because your brothers
and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own
separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing
your children), , they will open too, because the children also will get
married and settle down on their own some day.

Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers
(representing your spouse).
You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT, , because Husband
& Wife have to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!!

Please try this out,

That's a good one, it was fun trying that out with my colleagues

Mohawk did you catch it yesterday?
Missed it on TV but watched it on Channel; 5 website,
I like the episode, shows different angles and twist and adds more suspense,
with the way it's going, there's a lot of flash forwards from different people that we all have to remember to try and put the pieces together wink

love doing that,bring it on!

I missed the bottom 2 performance,
So rachael made it,good.
Keeping the twins in the competition is having a bad taste now,
they were so poor yesterday,it was shocking!!

I think Whitney is still USING!
She looked lost and took forever to process the questions Dermot O'Leary asked her.

Music/Radio › Re: Drake - Forever Ft. Wayne,kanye & Eminem. Eminem Has Done It Again by Fuup(m): 12:20am On Oct 18, 2009

I'm not knocking Kanye or Wayne but they are no way near Em, No way

Some MC are on a different level, they might not come up with something dope all the time but when they get down to it, it's always Bananas!!

Music/Radio › Some Good Vibe Coming From The Left Side(snoop, dre & The Game) by Fuup(op): 12:17am On Oct 18, 2009

It has been reported about 2 weeks back that Dre is in the studio with Snoop and Game,
Now i heard Dre has squashed the beef between 50 & Game
Seems prep for Detox is in full swing, with all the artist involved coming out with solo albums soon,it looks interesting

Snoop - Malice in wonderland
The Game - Red Album
Dre - Detox,

If the recent leaks from snoop is to be taking into consideration,it might be good times for me again in the hip hop world!!

There's a song called Protocol ,where Snoop pop some shots at Lil Wayne & Baby (that's what i think)

and another track called World of a Gangsta (this is Snoop on another level).

Music/Radio › Re: Drake - Forever Ft. Wayne,kanye & Eminem. Eminem Has Done It Again by Fuup(m): 12:07am On Oct 18, 2009
That is not the point.

We are not trying to compare Em's verse on "Renegade" to "Forever". . . .
What we are comparing is the difference between Eminem's verse on Renegade to Jigga's. . . .
It was tight and Eminem was better just marginally. . . .That marginal difference was what Nas referred to as MURDER. . . .

The question now is. . . .If Em's minute difference on Renegade is MURDER. . . .then what are you going to call the difference between his verse on "Forever" to the other rappers who featured on the same track?
Geddit?
Oh, ok

We cant refer Em's verse on Forever as ''Murder'', Renegade was named that b'cos Jay Z is a Giant in the Rap game and one of the best Lyricist in the game,
So it was like 2 giants going head to head and everything about the song set the stage for a duet like song.
But Forever to me features a great MC (Em) with 2 average (drake & kanye) & Good one(Wayne), The 3 know they can't touch Em on that level!

Heyyyy.
Gabrielle in da haus!!!
Episode 3 has no suspense at all.Even the Nazi couldn't spice it up with his boring vision. The guy's smart for an oldie, though.

Nice to see Gabrielle,
I'm with you, this episode is boring, nothing to captivate you
I couldn't believe how easy mark fell for the Nazi, his Flash forward with murphy could have been a setup!
There's would be dull episodes like this along the way
I am interested in watching demetry's story unfold,
