Gaddemit. The OP woke up dis morning with murderous intent for this fellow named Saraki. Knowing full well that Nigerians (and nairalanders in particular) are in a very bad mood with the state of the economy, he had to drag Saraki out like dis to the open market square with dis piece of news. Without even bothering to read the content of his proposition, the man was quickly stabbed so many times in so many places and by so many people using their words and comments on this platform. A word of advice to u Mr. Saraki (if u ever get to read this). It is evidently clear and safe to assume that so many people wish u dead (including some of ur own). If it ever crosses ur mind to attempt suicide, don't think twice or hesitate about it cos if u ever come within killing distance of these angry folks who hate u so much for what ever sins u might have commited against them, the after life is so sure for u in the following minutes as u won't stand a chance.

This report by the NPDC/NNPC is a load of trash best reserved for LAWMA and other waste disposai agencies. Of what benefit is this news to the ordinary Nigerian on the street? When the oil companies and NNPC were raking in billions unhindered in the last decade or so, did they go to press to make announcements on how many billions the made per day and how the Nigerian govt frittered away all those monies with nothing to show and little improvement on the lives of the ordinary Nigerian citizen? The ex-militants who were given juicy contracts and allowed to bunker our oil during GEJ's regime hav now turned round to destroy everything saying that "if we no chop, Nigeria govt too no go chop". Now that the govt and oil coys are feeling the pinch, they now want to make this a national problem for all of us. When the problem gets resolved and they go back to pumping oil again, the looting and feeding frenzy by govt officials collaborating with oil coys continue while the rest of us continue to suffer abi? Nonsense. IMO let the bombing continue in fact they shud take a step further and start driilling deep holes down to the remaining oil deposits in the earths's core and throw bombs down there directly and destroy everything till the whole ND is consumed by itself and there's not a single drop of oil left. Maybe many years in the future, the next generation of Nigerians will look back in the past and recall all the destruction and bloodshed that came with oil and will never repeat the same mistakes of the past ever again.

IMO, residents of Ibeju Lekki are in over their head on this one and entirely on their own on this one. Lagos state govt went ahead to hastily approve estate development plans from real estate developers without properly scrutinizing the details to identify drainage network system in place and in many cases no water drainage network at all. Greedy land buyers equally also failed to ask questions about water drainage system but were happy buying several plots and cruising their cars in and out of their homes without thinking of the rainy day. Well now those days have come and now they are asking these questions too late. This is only just the beginning. As the atlantic water continues to surge, the water table levels will continue to rise and the land will slowly, gradually and eventually go down and under. In the near future, flooded properties will be the least of their worries but loss of life will be their biggest worry. All kinds of water borne diseases, typh/malaria, mosquito breeding are just around the corner waiting to take over. They shud continue!

Absolutely nothing to have indicated his bad table manners. He was well educated. Dressed, spoke and acted well. I'd never gone to his place, so wouldn't really know. He was just a nice young man. I was also a good judge of character but I completely missed it on the table manners. He tried calling for weeks after that but I'd barred his line.

As much as I wud want to trust ur sense of judgement on his supposed education, the whole date sounds like a whole set up to me. His behavior at the restaurant was totally unacceptable and either calls his education to question or lands a big slap on ur reputation. An educated man shud know dat his date is priority on any such occassion. That he ordered his food b4 urs and started eating witout waiting for u and totally creating an ugly scene wit his eatin habits can only mean 2 things. He did all of dat deliberately to test ur reactions or he did it to just ridicule u. Other than dis, he is not and can not claim to be educated no matter how well dressed or well spoken he appeared to be at that time.

@megareal, i knw dis response is comin a few years too late but i wud hav loved to ask you dis at that time? What did u see, hear of, or learn about this guy b4 hand dat really convinced you to go on a date with him in the first place? i am guessing by now u hav already learned to accurately judge a person's mannerisms b4 accepting to go out with him or her. He also shud hav noticed your unsettledness at the table during the date and asked about it so he cud adjust himself. But if that single most overwhelming hint cud hav so easily passed him by cos he had his mind on the food at that time, then it means he cud care less if u had even shown up at th restaurant at all or that u even walked away.

@OP, I hate to break dis to u bt u hav jus ended up painting a fairytale pix of a wife to be witout all these said flaws. I make bold to say that ALL married women today in happy marriages walked into the marriage with at least one or two of these traits u mentioned bt later learned to curb their excesses and keep their homes. And believe me even if u find a girl witout theses said flaws and marry her 2day, what makes u think she will not develop these traits down the road into the marriage? Make no mistakes. There is no such thing as a "Fallen Angel". Once an angel falls down to this earth and fails to rise and fly again, he stops being an angel and becomes mortal like the rest of us.

I think dis locality in Delta might just be the kinda place where kids (and perhaps a few bold adults) still take their baths in the streams and/or rivers in broad daylight and so dis might really not be a big deal for the spectating kids around. But then again, the world has grown beyond dis and personally I get tired of dis kind of news every now and then. It seems dis is no longer to serve as a deterrent but as an entertainment for certain adults who now consider nudity a play thing for public amusement in said community.
2 questions tho.
1. Where were the parents and/or family members of these kids at the time of this immoral event?
2. The adults who where there at the time and/or those who stripped these boys shamelessly, would they have eagerly done the same had the victims being their own children or younger brothers?

Now is the time to push for number portability away from the MTN network to better service networks while still retaining their MTN numbers (for those who are scared of loosing their longtime owned MTN numbers). MTN probably saw this fine coming a few years back so they found a way to make subscribers hold on to their lines long enough to make it difficult to change their lines if anything like this happened. They didn't forsee number portability springing up to puncture their bubble. So I don't see how they are going to slice anybody to make up for paying their fine afterwards. Or better still as in this royal rumble, other network providers shud work together and tip MTN over the ropes by giving credit bonuses to MTN subscribers who port permanently to their networks. This will drive MTN to the edge and break their monoply and overbearing menace on us all.

Their own discrepancies sef just too much, I woke up one day to find out my sim wasn't active no more, the next day people started complaining that when they called my number what they hear from the receiving end is a woman's voice saying "hello, ti o ti wa sọrọ". why and how did they allocate my registered and active line to another customer still dey surprise me till date.

Something needs to be done to get rid of these snakes in our environment and this crowded city as a whole. Or at best contain their excesses by confining them to an out-zone location far removed from the reach of civilization. Snakes that will always fight back with venomous tongues with intent to kill and terrify. Snakes whom everyone will always want to run away from and whose deaths bring joy to the heart of those bereaved by them. Snakes who have mastered the act of slipping away unseen and unharmed after committing their evil deeds slithering and hissing as they go. Snakes who will only abandon their own when public outcry is at its peak, with glaring evidence and the snake in question boxed into a corner. Let us all arise and smite their heads to smitherings before the smite our heels in an attempt to slay us as they have done to this poor woman or in the very least cause us to stumble and fall into the kind of depravity their mindsets have fallen into, thus becoming hateful and venomous as they have ever and always been- SNAKES

Anger can only breed anger and hate only more hate. If so called friends can no longer support or in the least encourage each other in desperate times, It can only mean that everyone will eventually end up having only enemies in the future and no friends at all. @TheAlchemist, u can also keep ur legs crossed and grab some popcorn while u're at it as u witness and experience firsthand the feeling and experience of being scammed.

On a final note, I have always told most people I know, don't fall victim to any kind of scam, be it lotto scam, job scam, business scam, landed property scam, car scam etc. Always check nairaland and google their addresses before u commit urself and start expecting freebies. Nothing in this world is free, even in Freetown.

These guys are very sophisticated scammers who readily invite unsuspecting job seekers for cheap aptitude tests allowing for everybody to pass and afterwards demand a non refundable fee of N2500 before recommendation letters will be dished out to people to non-employing or totally non-existent companies with wrong addresses. I still see desperate people going there to write tests and waste their time and money and I shake my head.

Watch out and don't get fooled!!!
