My prayers is that your so called husband to be stumbles upon this thread and dumps your sorry ass before he marries a liability because my dear after your proposed marriage happens, you are definitely going to continue fooling around with married men and boyfriends even as a married woman. What nonsense!!! What do mean mean by saying that "he sometimes supports you financially...but you are not sexually involved with him..."? Do u think we are all stupid here? Why not tell us he is paying u to be his sugar girl which is why he is bold enough to identify with your family even when they know that he is married. If most married men do this then why so many unmarried girls today going full time into prostitution? U think they're also getting financial support from married men like you have been doing and not offering their bodies for sex in return? I think this man in question must have spent enough on taking care of you and has yet to recoup his ROI. PLEASE, take my advice and spare your future husband this melodrama by calling off your wedding on health grounds whilst you go and sort your shit out with your sugar daddy. I pray for men looking to get married to young girls of this generation, besides prayers make sure u investigate her and her family very very well down to her village roots and also get other people to help you investigate her too before you go and marry a useless person and start cheating on her after the marriage. |
Rubbish. You are just realising this now. Why not start by calling out the head of the MDAs and also start with your state governor now. |
Bros hear the truth now and know peace. You were expressly and massively voted out not because they thought you voted out Arin, no. It was rather because all the housemates (especially the ladies) considered you to be a pest, as in the most lousy and troublesome individual with the highest rank of anyhowness being displayed in the house. U have no manner of approach, no manner of speaking and the chief amebo guy in the house jumping from woman to woman and harassing all the ladies because none of them gave you a confirm green light. Saskay, queen and Jackie b all turned u down. U tried to force yourself on Angel, she blasted you away. U had to go crying to Jaypaul dat Angel shenked u and went for boma. Just imagine yourself. Since u already know that u are no Alpha male, Why didn't u make yourself useful in the house like Whitemoney or at least up your own game in the daily tasks. Whatever made u think u wud ever win with all your so many obvious flaws, huh? Work on your self bro, work on your attitude and learn to be civil when u talk. Nobody gives a damn what u think about WM. |
Nothing a minor surgery can't fix....even now at this early stage before it becomes permanent. It is well. |
Useless DSS, as usual doing what they do best. When will we hear of DSS dispersing bandits and terrorists rampaging in the North. Only when the interests of this government is threatened, there you will find the DSS doing their job. I say again DSS is Useless. Nonsense!! |
The Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident. .....aha, one of their own is down. And without hesitation, doubt or delay, the police PRO has quickly confirmed the incident. Had it been it was police officer that murdered an innocent civilian, they would never confirm such incident and even deny it outright. So the death of their own is more important than the death of innocent civilian killed by the police right? Death is coming for us all. Hope the police can speak the truth to death when it comes |

Racksterli, Black Gold, Lucky Gold, Triple coupon and all that rubbish. |
Ditch Konga immediately!!! Pay merchants like Flutterwave have also illegally started round tripping forex through back channels and some sleazy interested parties are making a killing daily through this. If Konga cannot restore your money or deliver the item, then be aware that they and Flutterwave are in bed together on this matter. My forex investment company overseas noticed this and also ditched Flutterwave recently after customers complained of similar fraud. Be warned and be wise. |
Government has gone to sleep again. Because now the culprits are the corrupt government officials themselves and not Sunday Igboho or Nnamdi Kanu. By now several heads should have rolled and several people sacked at that Ikoyi registry without pension or gratuity. The ICPC whose one and only job is to investigate and punish corrupt Government officials has also gone to sleep on this matter. Names and faces of these criminals in Government should be flooding the social media space so that the whole world can see the faces of these enemies of progress in Nigeria and they can be dealt with accordingly. But no, by now all the directors and senior officers of that evil registry will proceed to go on leave and dissappear indefinitely until the heat dies down. Now that the victims here are the citizens, the government will turn a blind eye to this, the people involved will deny everything and everyone will move on. I can bet that the investigative journalist must have had a body camera on his person to capture the live events incase the officials involved try to deny it or threaten his life for exposing them. We are all watching this event closely. If the Buhari Government does nothing about this in the two years he has left, nobody should come here and say any rubbish that Buhari Government is not corrupt. The same force and fierceness with which they go after Igboho and Kanu should be deployed in getting rid of all these thieves and criminals in govt robbing citizens daily in broad daylight. |
These guys need to be voted out come next elections and credible people who are ready to work and not make excuses should be selected to do their jobs. Its rather unfortunate that when the elections come, we completely forget about these lazy twats and focus only on the Presidency and Governorship positions. Both PDP and APC candidates (especially all former governors who have turned that place to a retirement home where the get pension for life for doing absolutely nothing) for both senate and reps should be collectively voted out in order to allow for credible Nigerians with fresh hands and new faces to do the jobs. |
When we say the police is useless people ask us why we are talking like this. Let us imagine that the victim had been the I.Gs own daughter or sister or mother, do u think the case will be treated by the police with the same kind of levity? Do u think the culprits will be let off the hook so easily? No, i don't think so. Oh wait, we only have to imagine this because it can never happen in reality as no landlord will be stupid enough to try this with the I.Gs family member as that will be the end for that person. I really dont blame people who often take the law into their hands to get their justice because the police are themselves worse than the criminals they are meant to prosecute. |
Pussy professor. Master of techniques. I hail your wisdom as a leader in the field. luminouz: |
Someone needs to be held responsible for the loss and damages. The government needs to compensate him for failing to protect his business interests. If they dont they have no right to collect taxes from him. |
ASUU should be scrapped by the govt the exact same way student unions have been scrapped by ASUU tertiary institutions. What nonsense. How can an employee of government dictate to its employers how much they shud be paid and how they shud be paid and still demand to be paid during strike when no work was done? Lecturers teach in several universities and get paid several times but they clamp down on students when they make complains. Until this is done, we go no where. Strike every time year on year at the expense of students whilst sabotaging the future of the next generation. Is lecturing job by force? Pls resign and respect yourselves. If u all survived the Corona period without your salaries, then please move on with your lives and stop this nonsense. We are talking about SARS now and these lecturers want to distract us. Pls resign or else when we are finished with SARS we will come for ASUU and start the "END ASUU" revolution too. Nigerian students must rise up now and seize their future from these rebels and hooligans calling themselves ASUU who refuse to resign and also refuse to do the job their are being paid for. |

Its been 4 months now, this guy is probably on the same route too as of now.....destination: - disaster Bullshit just like karma will always come round full circle. https://www.nairaland.com/5806944/anambra-wants-marry-edo MODS: Please be kind enough to push this to the FP so that I can get advise from this great forum. E.&.O.E please. I will definitely try to make it very conscice. I'm from Anambra and I have the intention to marry this girl from Edo state, I have been left with so many thoughts about how well it will go and what family members and friends will see this decision. Please friends, I need a very candid advise about this very issue because it's really giving me a great worry. I'm just on the cross road right now. I have told my best friend about my intention but he told me that he has not been to that state before and such doesn't know how their women are in terms of marriage. I have not seen any Anambra man that married an Edo girl, I'm just sceptical about how this will work. I love her very much as she is very supportive, kind and loving., Most times I bring up issues just to scare her away but she always come back. Please advise a brother here as I understand marriage is for better for worse! I don't want to regret anything in the future. Thanks for reading., Please no bashing. If you so do, I will gladly accept that but do give in your thoughts. |
Follow this cock and bull story and learn from the experience of others that in this time and age an Ibo man marrying an Edo woman is going to end in disaster. I am sure he was warned but he didn't listen until it was too late and now he is regretting it....How can a woman having delivered a child for her husband later deny that her bride price had been paid in full and then ran away to marry another man because things took a downturn for her husband? Is this what you want for yourself tomorrow? A woman who will only stay when the going is good and then turn around to deny you and tell lies about you later on when things go bad...? Answer this yourself. [i]Osadebe, who spoke to PUNCH Metro amid stutters, said he was shocked that his wife betrayed him. He said, “I was in a relationship with my wife for 20 years; we had a child together in 2011. My mother objected to our union because she is not from my tribe, but I said I loved her. “When my mother died and I wanted to travel for the burial, my wife said she would not follow us, because it is a taboo in her tradition for a woman, whose bride price has not been paid, to go on such a journey. She also refused to release my son. “When I got to the village, the elders were angry that I did not come with my wife and son as my mother’s first child. They fined me N40,000. After that disgrace, I vowed to pay her bride price. “I immediately sold the land I had for N1m, and I sent N500,000 to her account to keep for the purpose. In 2017, we went to her family and paid N280,000 for the bride price. They demanded groundnut oil, tubers of yam, among other things, which we valued at N60,000 and paid.” The former bus driver said when he took ill, he travelled to his hometown for treatment, adding that his wife refused to follow him. He alleged that while he was sick, his wife called and lamented that she and their son were starving, adding that he instructed that his bus be sold and the proceeds given to Gloria to start a business and pay the son’s school fees. Gloria, according to the court papers, sought divorce on the grounds of “drunkenness and smoking, lack of care, stubbornness and no more love.” She also claimed that her husband paid N25,000 for her bride price. https://www.nairaland.com/6090060/man-family-disrupt-lagos-church |
Deborah98:I was also one of those who didn't like the show at first because I didnt understand it and also because the major focus for many was the adult rated content and activities until I did a background check and then actually watched the show to further understand what it was all about. IMO, BB is simply just about life itself and the evolution of human behavior except that in this case the environment is non-dynamic in a confined space and there are several mitigating rules and factors influencing action and inaction overtime. Most guys say its all scripted and acting while others believe its a set-up and the housemates try to pretend and hide their true personalities as much as possible until the very end or at least until when it matters the most then they let loose. Its gets interesting watching the reactions of housemates to everyday life situations we all face and we are uncousiously made to either learn or un-learn the truths (based on one's personal perception) about social interactions and stereotype beliefs in our time. If you ever attended school whether primary, secondary, boarding sch, day sch, camping, etc while growing up then you have also partaken in big brother in some kind of way because you have mingled with other people like yourself, played football or other games together, eaten together, written and passed the same exams too while learning about the behavior of others and developing your own at the same time. In fact the culmination of all that knowledge and information on social behavior gets to its peak if you are fortunate to go for NYSC and camp with other graduates like yourself from other states. That is the ultimate peak of the big brother experience. Many today criticize and judge the housemates based on their supposed scripted actions but I bet you they have seen and done worse than them in NYSC camps and they wouldn't deny it. From physical fighting to gossiping, drunkenness, partying, deception to boyfriend/girlfriend snatching to nightly romps you name it. Nearly anything and everything is allowed and has been done without consequence year on year. #So what exactly is Big Brother Nigeria all about then# BB naija is essentially a social experiment designed to study, understudy, influence, understand, improve upon and evolve the human nature of an average Nigerian guy or girl irrespective of age, class, tribe, intellect, social status etc in a controlled environment and within a specific period of time. Its is also an endurance test designed to test human will and rational behaviors under rigorous and tense situations whilst showcasing one's talent at organization, leadership, creativity etc as is demonstrated in the nature of daily tasks and games introduced to the housemates in daytime which I am sure many fail to watch and learn from. Then there is also the favorite adult rated aspect of all kinds of -ships from friendships to relationships to partnerships and other kinds of possible situation-ships. As is inevitable in human circles, attractions between the opposite sex are normal, allowed and tolerated. However, this is not and should not be the main focus of the show for the housemates (and they know this by the way) even though such content is what mostly appeals to youths of this age and so the organizers harp on this to garner more viewers, votes and cash out big time. Personally I am curious to see where the focus this year will shift to as a major factor in determining who will win it all against the house and why. All housemates know that the game is a race against time and so they are all liable to eviction at any given time and so the must up their game in being the best at what they are good at in order to garner attention, support and votes to remain in the house until the last man standing. Even with all this overwhelming support, there continues to exist the growing rumor that a fierce voting battle campaign exists outside the house arena as more and more people get evicted. So rough and tense that so called "Nigerian big billionaires" get involved with massive vote-buying in order to influence the results and keep their choice housemate in play till the end whether or not the housemate is deserving or not. A lot of this rumor fed into the story that Efe won the competition some seasons ago due to the support of some billionaire Niger deltan who bank rolled voter support in Efe's favor but was widely perceived as undeserving, untalented and un-house like as a person. |
This is preposterous. I won't marry such a lady or from such a family. This is why so many promising young ladies today remain single and become single mothers with nobody willing to wife them afterwards. It is highly important to research any girl and her family very well before making any proposals for marriage. Seeing that only few rich guys can afford such requirements let them go and buy the girls and leave other guys out of it. Only time will tell if it will be worth it at the end. |
Take my advice as someone who has been there and done that. Don't do this because u will regret it later. A part of u already knows this but u came here just to re-enforce that thought. I wish I could tell you my story here or to u directly in person. Try and look for Edo men around and ask them candidly looking them straight in the eye what they think about Edo girls and if they would marry one. There and thence the truth will be revealed. They mostly have an entitlement personality and will be discussing your personal issues and secrets with their family members right in front of u cos they know u don't hear their tongue. I would hate for u to come back here and tell us ur story if regret when their true nature is revealed after marriage. They get violent and confrontational over little incidents and always issueing threats diabolical demos. They like to prey on weak and innocent mean like u who they can bend to their will because they believe u love them too much to become stupid and tolerate their excesses. U hardly see them marry tough men like their fellow Edo men who will deal ruthlessly with them when they misbehave. I can go on and on but let me stop here. Tell her to go and marry her own people. It's better that way. |
Already messaged u.. .. . |
....panic in a driver and other passersby? What manner of speech is this? Bia, OP its its too early on a Monday to be dropping word bombs like this and making us panic too. |
MNDY:It's funny how they fail to display these negative attributes to the man beforehand so the men can think twice before walking into a trap called a failed marriage. Guys don't be lazy. Do a proper research of the girls family background and extended families if possible. Find about their past friends and the kind of company they kept in school. Facebook will help you do this conveniently well. Get first hand info on the streets using the standard guy code even if you have to pay for such info. If the girl has moved around too much within a short period and isn't ready to open up her past or walk openly with you in her former hoods hand in hand...Red flag straight up...cos she's gonna gather all hat past life she's keeping away from you before marriage straight into your home after marriage. Stay woke guys.. |
Can u please distinguish brown monthly cramps/mood swings and outright bad character display/public misbehaviour/rudeness and olosho behaviour in the house as a married woman towards her husband. If you cannot do this, then we married men will not do the distinguishing on your behalf but making life simple for ourselves as men we will go ahead and blame you for whatever we like. Take a quick survey yourself and you will find that most married women don't even know how to speak and address their husbands respectfully and in public because of too much familiarity over time. This has absolutely nothing to do with monthly cramps and mood swings. |

well what a surprise we have here. 2nd page and still no member of NCAN here to scream, blast and tag this fraudulent crime by way of pictures or memes to any one of the major Nigerian tribes. Maybe Nairaland is truly changing for good or something else.... |
The Police Force HQ should take this move a step further and also redeploy SARS officers who have stayed longer than four years in Lagos state. Maybe we will see a reduction in the number of extra-judicial killings and recklessness shown by these men on a daily basis. |
asuustrike1:How can you go to a corrupt police institution to get justice when the person who did the wrong in the first place did not also go to the police? |
