If all that your God can do with all the myriad of problems facing humanity is to arrest ordinary me, then that God is a very lazy and jobless God. Nigeria is blessed with most wicked leaders of all times (your religious leaders inclusive and Christian leaders in particular), your God should go after them and hunt them down. These leaders have stolen our collective wealth and sent millions to untimely graves yet your god sits down wherever he is and does nothing. Did I hear you say he is long suffering and waiting for them to repent? Please don’t make me laugh. Then he will wait till we are all wiped out.
Tell your God to go after the thieving and kleptomaniac politician and the church leaders who fraternise with these thieves (I think I have a picture of Adeboye and Ibori somewhere on the internet), tell him to unravel the mystery behind Boko Haram and put their menace to rest once and for all. Tell him to solve hunger problems in draught stricken regions of the world.
Let him tell us the true way in which to worship him amongst all the several modes of worship that exist from all the worlds religion because if I believe in Islam 2.2 billion Christians will perish in hell for eternity, if I believe in Christianity, 1.5billion muslim will have executive suites in hell fire. Let me be honest with you, if the Roman Empire had adopted Mithras instead of Christianity, you would have been a Mithraist and I probably would have still found my way to atheism.
Am pretty sure you think I need help, but you put all your belief in a book that claims snakes, lizards and donkeys could talk, a book that believes in witches, wizards and that sticks could turn to snakes. You are the one who believes in a book that says food could fall from the sky and that someone could walk on water tell a storm to stop. You are the one that believes in all these primitive, absurd magical stories which are not different from the story of Ben 10, yet you want your God to arrest me.
One of the tragedies of mankind is that morality has been hijacked by religion. Do you really think I need God to be a good husband to my wife, father to my children, boss to my subordinates or follower to my leader? I think not. Religion is an insult to human dignity, with or without it you will still have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things.
Rather than be a big bully that he is he should do the job of a God and not bother about a small me in the middle of nowhere. Maybe when he has done his job he would have earned my respect, till then, tell him to get busy!

dekung: Lets even assume your story is true, how come europeans still conquered us and took our forefathers as slaves in period when all we had were these native powers, how come many of our soldiers die at peace keeping missions despite knowing and using these native insurance? Pukkah: I don't have any problem with the promises of the Almighty God and stop hiding under His name to promote laziness (of the mind), complacency and lethargy.

Those who brought Christianity (and even Islam) to Africa have been able to record major successes and advancement in human endeavours because they did not just lazily sit on their hands. They ACTED! They also used the HEADS that God gave to them!
