@odiaero and @naijababe, let me help your maths cos I perceive a problem is that department.

My first call gave me 37pips profit and my 2nd call gave me 35pips profit making 72pips profit. My 3rd call gave me a loss of 50pips and the support trade gave me a profit of 20pips making a loss of 30pips.
Subtract the 30pips loss  from the 72pips profit = 42pips profit.

Or do I need to use counters for you to understand? For your information my performance graph, even on a daily basis, is only one way: north.

@meshpips, I'm a short term trader and my typical trade floats for btw 2hrs and 4hrs. It's only on rare cases my trades float for several hours. I'm not long-term so dont expect hundreds of pips. I'm short-term and a high-stake trader. For me 40pips alone represents 10% though I dont recommend this to others but my performance graph allows me to stack so much.

I wonder wat the problem is wt @naijababe and @odiaero. Where did u see the loss? Did u even read my post where I explained how to set up the trade? I ended the day with a good profit and I told u to call my bluff only when I end the day with a loss.

Yes the SL was triggered but the support trade picked it up and drastically reduced the loss on that particular trade. And by the time u add my earlier profits on the first two trades, what does that give u? Instead of hating why not try to learn one or two things?

I told u the trade is set up such that if the SL is triggered, the support trade (which goes the opposite way) is automatically triggered and drastically reduces the loss or even wipes it out on some occasions. This is becos if the market goes against my call then itz a major reversal, and this is why I dont end my day in a loss.

To the newbies, if u are able to grasp this critical timing of the market coupled with the support trade concept, you will tell your boss to go to hell cos you'll no longer need his/her job as you can then mint your own cash.

@odiaero, I'm organizing a class for the newbies here where I'll teach them the basics of trading and I expect u to be there. My first class will be on how to stay composed in the face of a losing streak cos how composed u are while losing determines how far you will go in forex trading. So I will reserve a seat for u in the front.

This is brilliant! Other governors and GEJ should learn from Rochas.

I would like to suggest two ways of improving the experience here on Nairaland.

First: Introduction of a ranking method. I think the ranks of members should appear just below their names. The ranking could be such that those with less than 1,000 post are ranked as active members, those with 1,000 to 2,000 post are ranked as bronze members, those with 2,000 to 3,000 posts are ranked as silver members, those with 3,000 to 4,000 posts are ranked as gold members, those with 5,000 to 6,000 posts are ranked as diamond members, those with 6,000 to 7,000 posts are ranked as platinum members and those with over 7,000 posts as ranked as partners.

Second: Introduction of a yearly get-together. I think we could arrange a yearly get-together of members in order to strengthen our bond and meet with the Nairaland veterans. We could also form some form of ideological movement or a think-tank able to enforce changes in our beloved Nigeria.

@odiaero, I ruffled ur feathers a little bit then u snapped and started name-calling. This goes to tell me the kind of trader u are. A person who is unable to get hold of himself and stay composed when under attack can not make a great trader becos he will lose his composer when on a losing streak. There are many ways of assessing a potentially great trader and brandishing account balances is definitely not one of them. I tested ur resolve bro and u failed woefully. Go back to the drawing table to learn the basics of forex trading - it's a cruel market bro, dont expect the market to show u love.

Due to the numerous emails sent to me, I have decided to come out of retirement to give u the signals that will transform your statement of account. And you need not pray to the god of pips no more cos he’s now here to answer ur  prayers. And yes it’s easy to hate me but once I start helping u build ur account on a daily basis, then u gonna have no choice but to love me. Trust me I know. And yes I’ve been told my arrogance has no limits, but so do my pips. I’m a total package: u want the pips I can rake in? Then u have to make do wt my arrogance. Even the Bible says the rich talks rough.

It’s amazing how pple are unable to look beyond the big picture. Account balance is the big picture and it doesn’t tell us much abt a trader; statement of account tells the true story. So I don’t respect account balances; I respect statement of account cos they tell the true story. It does not matter if wat u have in ur account is $100 or $10,000 or $1,000,000 as long as u are very accurate and consistent over time, then ur $100 will turn into $1,000,000 with time.

People such as @odiaero trade other people’s money, the amount that actually belongs to him in the account he flaunts may even be less than 5%. So he does not deal with the same emotion issues as most people in here who own every cent that is in their account. Remember emotion is the biggest bane of a forex trader. What @odiaero does is pretty much like demo trading cos the money does not belong to him.

I trade at 09:00, 14:00 and 19:00 GMT. It has to do with well timed info so time is very much of the essence. I’ll tell u when to close the trade but it’s usually between 2hrs and 6hrs. The daily target is 50pips minimum. Once the call is made, then check back every 2hrs to close the trade with a positive but it usually doesnt last more than 6hrs to get the positive trade.
The idea is to get in just before the market makes the big move of each session and get out just immediately after the move. That is why the trades usually float for between 2hrs and 6hrs.

The probability of the trade going my way to going against my call is always 84:16 meaning there is an 84% chance of going my way and a 16% chance of going against me. But the beautiful thing abt my strategy is that even if it goes against me (i.e. the 16%) I have developed a little trick of drastically cutting the loss or even completely wiping out the loss with a little something I call the ‘support trade’ which goes the opposite way only at the point of SL. For the trend to go the opposite way (against me) simply means it’s a major reversal and the support trade picks it up to regain the lost pips. I use different platforms but I suspect most people in here use the MT4 platform.

How I get to know the exact direction of the market and when it happens is something beyond the scope of this thread, besides it’s in the book I’m writing which is to be published by John Wiley and Sons, Inc. sometimes in 2013.

I remain that missing link between ur trade and a consistently profitable trade. Stick wt me and keep ur pips piling.  Wondering why I appear arrogant? Well, it’s becos I’m extremely good at what I do and my confidence is sky high. But if you are smart enough, u will not bother yourself wt my arrogance as long as the pips keep piling.

Addendum: Any day my calls yield a loss at the end of the day, pls call my bluff and call me a charlatan and I will not publish my book.

Now I see how shallow many so called traders could be, no wonder many struggle for years. Anyways, I joined this forum due to popular demand by my students but I'm highly disappointed at the level of depth being displayed here. As a result I have decided to retire from this thread. It's unfortunate it ended even before it started but I just cant operate in certain environments, I've gone too far to be dragged back by the likes of Ogboraph who has no idea wat forex trading really is but thinks he does.

I only wanted to help the newbies develop the sharpness needed to trade profitably.

I see how odiaerojet has captivated u all cos of his account balance, this is really pathetic. This reminds me of a pastor who has so many followers simply becos they see him performing miracles even though they dont know the real truth behind his miracles.

I just hope I'm not in the wrong crowd here cos I prefer mingling with people who are deep thinkers and not easily swayed by what they see on the outside. I despise pple who are dazzled by the bright lights.
