I really need some advice.

I'm currently working in a place where the pay is fair and I am getting some real cool cash. I'm single, have free accommodation by the company and some allowances for some basic expenses. So I can even live without touching my pay.

My problem now is I don't know where and how to invest my funds. Saving money in the bank have not really worked for me because I will always find a reason to squander and "flex'' every kobo.

I work 9-5pm, so I can't open a full time business for now.

Here are some things I have been thninking

1. Should I start a poultry and find someone to manage it?
2. Should I buy tricycles/keke and give it out for hire purchase?
3. Should i Just buy shares or bitcoin and keep for a year or two?
4. I even thought about looking for an HONEST person to invest in their business in order to get returns

Infact, the more i think the more confuse i become.

I don't want to look back to this period in my life and regret wasting all these funds and achieving nothing.

Please Help a soul........I need legit investment suggestion that a busy office guy can go into.

Some potential investors insisted that we raise funds on our own and fund a live account and repeat the same feat in the account, even if it is for three month. As intra-day traders that we are, spending about between 18-20hrs in front of the computer screen, daily, we lacked the time to go out to raise funds on our own, and surrounding with people who only believe in physical exchange when doing business, and not electronic exchange, it was hard to convince them to part with their funds.

We don't what to sound disrespectful, but the way you are going about, it is you are in pains, like someone who has lost money to these scams/ponzi schemes in this forum. If you in pains as a result of all these fraudulent/scam scheme, then we are on the same page. Just as I said before, you should direct your effort to educating members of these forum on how to detect and avoid scams in these forum. You can investigate and expose any scam/ponzi schemes for what they are, in these forum.

I see rates doing down for a couple of reasons.
1. A reduction in fiscal paper supply by the CBN. recent trends in Bond and PMA auction reveal a reduction in fiscal paper supply. This is in line with the monetary authorities strategy to reduce domestic debt and take advantage of external debt with relatively cheaper borrowing cost.

2. The CBN has been guiding rates lower amid the recent downtrend in inflation rate... Well ahead of the rate cut that the market is expecting to happen before H2.

But the good news is that rates would begin to pick up by Q3, Q4 due to election risks.

I will still advise u to avoid all these forex,crypto and invest in me stuffs. they are all grand scams that will only bring sorrow to u. 95% of biz ideas u see on nairaland these days are intended to scam or deceive people. the real genuine biz people wont come here to expose d secret of their money making. if u must do biz find sth physical u can do and monitor urself.

Which one is unrealistic ventures? If you see a realistic venture, will you want yo invest in it? Maybe you allowed your greediness to overwhelmed you and you lost your money to all those scam/ponzi schemes and even all this novice/inexperience currency traders that promised you unrealistic returns, you shouldn't get bitter and transfer your aggression on every thread/program in this forum. You are free to do your investigation and expose any scam/ponzi scheme in this forum, educate people on how to detect and avoid them, thereby preventing them from loosing their money, instead of you going from thread to thread tagging everything scam. If you look up our profile, you will see that we created a thread with the topic "Investment Anti-scam/Fraud Guide" last year. We did everything to push the post from time to time, but members of this forum and probably you too must have seen it but choose to ignored it due to greediness. So you should use your bitter experience to guide your future investment part and guide others too, who might also insist on having their own bitter experience better being guided.

Good day all,

I have been confused on what to do with the money I have saved. I am a contract staff in one of the banks and I have saved considerable amount of money over the years I have been working there. But I am tired of my job, as same as many of my colleagues who wish they had one quarter of the money I had saved to quit the job.

I am not a lazy man I am very hardworking as adhuged by my supervisors but the issue is I have stayed on one spot for too long and no promotion. My greatest joy is that I was able to achieve a masters degree in a federal university in nigeria while working but my job doesn't give me time to even look out for other jobs.
So please guys I am throwing this up here because I know on this thread there are people who have been in my situation before that made the better choice and are happy for it.
I have two very important decisions to make either to use the money I have saved to travel abroad for school for masters and hopfully settle down there or to stay here in Nigeria to start up a pure water production factory but Nigeria and it's uncertainties keeps discouraging me. kindly note that I have saved up to 9million naira to take up any of these ventures and I am 35 years not yet married.
Please I need honest advice to a brother there are some persons like me who will benefit from this advice we render.
