Saraki is a joker, let me save my words, if he had been appointed Jonathan's vice through Governor's forum would he have resigned o declare for president. |
This ranting of atiku and IBB should stop, Nigerians are not duns, the written constitution of PDP did not mention that zoning should be for two terms Every time there is a southerner in PDP primaries, there was also a notherner in the same primaries. Yaradua served the constitutional written one term, If they want to go to court let them go to court with a gentle man agreement |

@Donchuks Ready to help, which browser are you using? my own IWP opens those sites, its a certificate problem with the browser, mention your browser. Also stop posting pic per post! cheers |
he is right he has started loosing the election because he is too poor in current affairs. |
na_so:"They will have the same PDP Constitution they read like a novel to contend with if they go to court" the PDP constitution contains zoning in a written part but 2 term of eight years was a gentle man agreement that is not written. In respect to the written part of zoning, Yaradua had a term. the issue of a second term for the north is unwritten. Remember during OBJ second term primaries, northern Candidates contested too. I wonder if a gentleman agreement survives in the court of law. And lets bet, by the time PDP primaries are over They cannot qualify to contest in ANPP REASON: what does the ANNP constitution say about how long you will be a card carrying member before qualification. |
I lack words if any body in Nigeria do think of working for IBB to come back to power |
the party primaries is still the business of the Governors, more over some governors that are looking for a second term Remember when they negotiated with IBB he made it clear to them that it is not in his control to grant them automatic ticket, Which is to say that it is in the hand of some one or group, and who controls the group GEJ/Governors alliance. lets be frank, GEJ stand a better chance to grab PDP ticket |
I am just watching the declaration of Goodluck Jonathan as I am posting. Naija see it and know where the Pendulum is swinging, thank God majority of the governors are with GEJ. IBB Keep living in Your hill top mansion and eating the oil wind fall, we are wiser. |
When group of men that suppose to be addressed as learned want to goof, they dont read in between the line because of selfish interest. in the articles quoted above, there is no written clause that a zone will have two consecutive term, Yaradua Had the term for the North according to the written clause (article) of PDP constitution. Enough is a Enough. |
A predominantly northern People's Democratic Party (PDP) group, led by Adamu Ciroma, has written a letter to the PDP chairman , Dr.Okwesilieze Nwodo and members National Working Committee (NWC) demanding that the party not field Goodluck Jonathan as candidate for next year’s election, and for the party to reserve the presidential slot exclusively for northerners. See letter: RE: REQUEST FOR DECLARATION TO RESERVE THE PDP PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION FOR NORTHERN ASPIRANTS AND TO RESTRAIN PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE 2010 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY AS AN ASPIRANT. Dear Sir: As you know, Article7, section 7.2(c) of our Party’s constitution prescribed that, in pursuant of the principles of equity, justice and fairness, the Party shall adhere to the policy of rotation and zoning of Party and public elective offices and it shall be enforced by the appropriate executive committee at all levels’. This provision had been earlier enunciated and in fact reinforced by Preamble 2(c) of same constitution, which states in part that, ‘ to create socio-political conditions conducive to national peace and unity by ensuring fair and equitable distribution of resources and opportunities, to conform with the principles of power shift and power sharing by rotating key political offices among the diverse peoples of our country and evolving powers equitably between the Federal, State and Local Governments in the spirit of Federalism’. Pursuant to the aforesaid provisions, the Party zoned the Presidency to the SOUTH for eight ( uninterrupted years. This two term tenure was completed by a SOUTHERNER, in the person of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, from 1999 to 2007 under the Obasanjo/Atiku ticket. At all times during the Obasanjo/Atiku ticket, the record reflects that it was Obasanjo from the SOUTH that our Party nominated as its Presidential candidate. At the same time, Atiku, a northerner of Obasanjo’s choice, was nominated by the Party as the Vice Presidential candidate. Indeed, at the end of Obasanjo/Atiku two term ticket, the Party rotated its Presidential and Vice Presidential tickets and zoned it to the NORTH and SOUTH respectively for the same two terms enjoyed by the Obasanjo/Atiku ticket. This, we believe, is in compliance with the controlling provisions of Article 7.2(c) and Preamble 2(c) of our Party’s constitution. Consistent with earlier applied modalities for the actualization of the referenced constitutional provisions, the Party nominated Alhaji Umaru Yar’adua from the NORTH as it’s Presidential candidate and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan from the SOUTH chosen by Yar’adua, as the Vice Presidential candidate. This tenure began in 2007 as the Yar’adua/Goodluck ticket. It was to end in 2015. Unfortunately, this two term tenure of NORTHERN Presidency was punctuated by the untimely death of President Yar’adua. (May his soul rest in perfect peace-Amen) mid way to the completion of the first term tenure. In strict obedience to the dictates of the Constitution of our country, Goodluck Jonathan was sworn in as President to complete the remaining years of the first term tenure.Read more: http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/don’t-field-goodluck-jonathan-northern-slot-adamu-ciroma-group-writes-pdp |
Presidential front runners from the North are closing ranks with a view to producing a consensus candidate that will defeat President Goodluck Jonathan in next year’s general elections. This move follows a meeting by the director generals of the campaign organisations of the leading candidates from the North. Those who met included representatives of Ibrahim Babangida, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Alhaji Aliyu Gusau, and Dr. Bukola Saraki. They resolved at the meeting to work together by putting their differences aside in order to produce a candidate that will be acceptable to the North and the rest of the country in the forth coming elections. http://www.africanexaminer.com/north_close_ranks |
Startling revelations into how former military dictator, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, IBB , rented a huge crowd during his 2011 presidential ambition declaration on Wednesday at the Eagles Square in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, have emerged. P.M.NEWS checks have revealed that the desperate general, who annulled the freest election in the country in 1993, rented at least 50 support groups and NGOs in the bid to hoodwink unsuspecting Nigerians into believing that he has remained popular. However, the secret was blown open when the rented crowd protested yesterday in front of Niger State Government House in Minna over non payment of allowances promised them by the State Government and politicians who contracted them for the rally. “Forty-five 18-seater buses were hired to convey us to Abuja with a promise that each one of us will be paid N5, 000. We fulfilled our own side. We went to Abuja, shouted and danced for IBB. The whole world saw us but instead of Niger State government fulfilling their own part, they all ran away living us with nothing,” Musa M. Rabo told journalists during the protest. Musa Ubale and Tijjani Umaru, leaders of other groups disclosed that they are not supporting IBB but travelled to Abuja because of money. He said: “We are not lovers of IBB but we were promised N5, 000 each.” They alleged that food and allowances promised them were not given to them when they got to Abuja. “We left for Abuja as early as 7 a.m. on Wednesday from Minna and came back at about 1 a.m. Thursday without breakfast, lunch or dinner. We were told that money was released by the state government (Niger) but some few people want to hijack it,” a protester said. When contacted, one of the leaders who hired the thugs confirmed that some of the groups are yet to be paid as agreed with the group. “Now I am in Abuja. Please, don’t mention my name please,” he pleaded. Chairman IBB Vision 2011, Alhaji Ubale Marafa Kagara, said that they paid all the members what was promised. “Those you see protesting are not our members. We paid our people their money as promised. You know, there are other groups from government side, some from PDP and others from NGOs like us,” Kagara said. P.M.NEWS learnt that Niger State government through the office of the Secretary to the State government released money for mobilisation of youths and NGOs for the IBB support rally in Abuja. “That is why you see them in government house not IBB campaign office. Governor Ma’azu Babangida has released money for the job,” says a government official who did not want his name mentioned. Special Assistant on Mobilization to Niger State government, Alhaji Yahuza Abdullahi, who has been accused of withholding the money, was seen pleading with the protesters. He left after he sighted journalists. PM News http://www.africanexaminer.com/ibb_rents |

Unknown Gunmen have killed the Head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Forensic Unit. Mr. Abdullahi Muazu. Mr Muazu who was found dead in Kaduna, North West, Nigeria was said to be a key witness to ongoing cases whose EFCC is being prosecuted. EFCC said in a statement issued in Abuja that “information reaching the Commission today confirms that our head of forensic unit was killed in a cruel manner in the early hours of today by unknown assailants.” “Those behind this attack may have succeeded in killing a strategic hand and a key witness in some of our on-going cases but their act has failed to dampen our spirit or deter us from continuing our investigation and prosecution of all forms of economic crimes and corruption in the country.” the commission stated The Chairman of the EFCC, Mrs Farida Waziri has already directed a team of operatives from the Abuja headquarters office of the Commission to proceed to Kaduna to assist the relevant security agencies in the investigation of the murder. Though dokpesi is entitled to his opinion, just like IBB, to all who cares to know PDP constitution is not Supreme to The Constitution of federal republic of Nigeria. Why are people celebrating and discussing PDP constitution as if It is the Constitution of federal republic of Nigerian?. To my dear Dokpesi, There is no vacancy in Aso rock "Nigerians are waiting for a share of the Stolen money from IBB" add the sharing schedule in Your campaign statement please. |
Lies! news Propaganda! and sowing disharmony in the mind and integrity of south easterners " South east is solidly behind Jonathan" on a second view political jobbers are entitled to their lobbying but if voting counts we shall vote according to our conscience, when will the press stop sales promotion publication. listen to the ordinary youth in Nigeria not the old political jobbers. there is no Adedibu in South East. Hence a saying "Igbo enweghi Eze" This is time for IBB to share the stolen loot to Naijans |
An anti-Islamic preacher backed off and then threatened to reconsider burning the Koran on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, angrily accusing a Muslim leader of lying to him Thursday with a promise to move an Islamic center and mosque away from New York's Ground Zero. The imam planning the center denied there was ever such a deal. The Rev. Terry Jones generated an international firestorm with his plan to burn the Koran on Saturday, the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and he has been under intense pressure to give it up. Standing outside his 50-member Pentecostal church, the Dove Outreach Center, alongside Imam Muhammad Musri, the president of the Islamic Society of Central Florida, Jones said he relented when Musri assured him that the New York mosque will be moved. Hours later, after Musri and the leader of the Ground Zero mosque denied such an agreement, Jones said Musri "clearly, clearly lied to us." "Given what we are now hearing, we are forced to rethink our decision," Jones said. "So as of right now, we are not canceling the event, but we are suspending it."
