UPDATE: Yesterday evening the Nigerian Troops dealt decisive blow on BokoHaram fighters trying to infiltrate & attack Geidam town. I salute the swift response & gallantry of Op Tura Takaibango, I’m happy with our troops consistent winning ways.

Don't know the original source or who produced it, however it appears to me it is some sort of project. I am surprised the video has very little publicity. The navy used to be at forefront of publicity but with the past CNS the navy lost the initiative. Hoping for thr best with the new CNS.

Approximately 45 meters in length, SDB3 Incorporates a modern, stealth ship design. The ship has a state of the art radar and would be armed with a 30mm main cannon.

She would be able to spend 23 days at sea on each patrol.

SDB3 would be the most modern ship built in west-africa and a force multiplier for maritime security in Africa when launched.

The whole operation was at Night to early dawn.
The MI-35 and the Recently inducted MI-171 have F.L.I.R. that light up Night into day.
I am beginning to also suspect the NAF and NA are also using something else which I will not disclose here but the level of clarity gives me joy to No end.
Put it this way this is what the NAF released to the Public.( Unclassified)
Imagine what they DIDN’T ( Classified) release to the public.
The NAF is becoming frightening.
Yep I said .
I agree on the new capabilities of NAF. The NAF is now a force to reckon with on the continent

This clip shows how the NIGERIAN ARMY in its entirety fights?

This Twenty- something second clip helped you conclude that the WHOLE army needs rebuilding and restructuring?

Even in the movies you don't see teams where everyone is calm and calculated under fire not to talk of real life.

Show me an army that doesn't have this kind of reaction from its men under fire and I'll show you an army that's not fighting a war.

BTW, since they were judged on a less than 30 second clip, can you tell us who won? The fact that the clip made it out shows they survived and if they survived. It means the boko boiz didn't.

I'LL TAKE THIS KIND OF FIGHTING AND THE ASSOCIATED VICTORY 10 TIMES A DAY over Hollywood standard fighting with losses.
Are the countless real life documentaries from the second world war to date Hollywood movies too? Fachfouch raised SOME valid points

Is it a crime if a Nigeria Soldier puts on a Nigerien or Chadian Camo?
Does the uniform bear the Chadian flag and patch? I am asking because if i recall correctly we used to use similar camouflage.

But some NA officers are senseless oh. Who sent soldiers to fight protesters in lekki. They should've gone to Edo were pple are crying to fight civil war.
I stopped supporting the army long ago. I am just here for pictures because i like it.

I have said it before, being a soldier in Nigeria army means you will be ready to kill for the government when they want. You can't be a good soldier under an evil government!

The PD-1 UAS NAF is Acquiring also will be for what? To train drone pilot if yes ok..
But tsaigumi UAV will be the best option if they are going to use it strictly for ISR.
Also NN to receive 3 AW109 is this aside the one for deep blue or..?
I wish the army had this helicopters. Dont know if it is ignorant to ask why the navy need so many helicopters when non us ASW capable
