jedisco: You go cry tire, sir The reality is that Seun himself is a b1got and as tribal1stic as the worst here. Just go to Twitter and see what he dey yarn. So, how can bad police bad? Nairaland these days is a cesspit where the worst of the worst gather to gleefully deposit turds. I spend an hour on this site daily and each time I want to wash my eyeballs clean with bleach and cleanse my soul with molten lava. The only place I have seen the kind of comments I see on Nairaland is in the comment section of TheYNC |

jedisco: You don enter once chance today, sir See oga Jedisco, there's a very frightening and increasing number of Nigerians that cannot be reasoned with and they tell easily disprovable lies with such boldness that you wonder if you are going crazy. It doesn't matter what you say to them, the caliber of the evidence you bring to an argument, or how kind you are to them. It does not even matter if you could somehow persuade the almighty to come down and speak for you to them. They think one way, believe one thing and nothing will move them from their position. These kinds of people grew exponentially during and after the last presidential election, and like I said, they cannot be reasoned with and deep-rooted envy, genetic-level hate and soul-altering spite is what they know. It's both very sad and very frightening. Like very very very frightening, akin to seeing actual vampires and rabid wolves come within spitting distance of you. Don't bother talking with them. Just conserve your energy sir and look on them like you would irremediably madt and utterly dangerous people who can potentially drag this country into all-out strife that would make the first and second Congo wars look like kindergarten tea parties. 3 Likes |
Car Talk / Re: What Is Your Car's MPG And How Are You Coping With This Fuel Price? by GabrielYulaw(m): 1:38pm On Sep 29, 2023 |
buygala: I actually love the first gen Ridgeline, sir. It is surprisingly capable offroad and a 2009-2012 model is on the wishlist I shoved up Santa's bvtt for this year. Yeah, it is technologically outdated, but that means less things that can break and despite its being produced in relatively modest numbers, it is one of the most reliable cars out there, as per Consumer Report. As for the RX, I get what you are saying about it. The RX and the Venza na yahoo boy favorite rides and I hate how dem go take RX 2000-2005 model years and update it to 2020 model years and give the thing outsize grills that almost scrape the pavement. And for your GX, I am just saying that there are newer SUVs out there that are more fuel efficient than it. An eminent personage like yourself who undoubtedly is on first name basis with Dangote and can tell Tony Elumelu to sit on his middle finger and sing the Nunc Dimittis, could get a late gen SUV that doesn't drink fuel like an alcoholic with delireum tremens. As for you being poor, that's the kind of joke I love to hear on Night of a Thousand Laughs, sir. 4 Likes |

buygala: If I remember correctly sir, there are more fuel efficient SUVs out there, like the Honda Ridgeline and the RX 330/350. Any specific reason you went for the GX? And considering the prestige thing you are talking about, you be governorship aspirant, sir? 3 Likes 1 Share |

bennyflipy: You know where the OfferUp thread is, right? You can go there and ask for better tips on how to access OfferUp. Many will reply and their tips might be better than mine. Good luck. 1 Like |

bennyflipy: Well, you can access OfferUp in Nigeria. There are people who sell you verified phone numbers you can use to access the site, or you can use VPN. There are also a lot of people whose main jobs consists of buying tech stuff on OfferUp and shipping these for sale here. Go to the OfferUp thread and see what they got ready for sale. Or you can visit OfferUp yourself, buy what you like and have someone like Mikkyangel or Mikeljims pick it up and ship it to you. |

OHIsIManuEL: Check out Williams1000. Never bought from him though. So, ask for the heavies on the OfferUp thread to vouch for him before sending money. Edit 1- I think I misspelled the name. Lemme just look for the post where the pixel I was talking about is being sold. Edit2- https://www.nairaland.com/williams10000 That's the guy. But his post about the 6 Pro appears to have been deleted. Not sure why 1 Like 1 Share |

Bright12660: Wetin go carry me go under the sun? It's like you be plant that need sunrays and water to grow. I be introvert o and if I step out, half of the people I meet will be saying they haven't seen me in weeks. Wetin I go carry my behind to be doing under the sun? Anyway, the variable refresh rate on my Pixel 4XL is permanently off, because to me, that feature is as useful as a nipple in the b00ty crack would be. |

BrickDevo: Bros, here no be Jiji. I have seen new or open box Pixel 6a on sale at like 160-169K. I think na AdrianHillz get am. Of course, you are free to sell at any price. And I am free to offer an opinion. 1 Like 1 Share |

BrickDevo: True sir. I can't even understand what the refresh rate hoopla is all about. Maybe I am just going blind. And by the way, the guy you dey reply na my personal oga. Na from him I got my first smartphone- a Xiaomi mi max 2. That fella is so honest and straightforward you could give him you virgin sister and he won't touch her till he don pay her bride price finish. Him and Jboixx are top class men. |

OHIsIManuEL: Ram? I am partial to asun, sir. Dunno why, but the Pixel 5 and 5a 5G got bad reps on the GSMArena comment page. Folks curse the motherboard, battery scarcity and everything else. The fella you are advising might be better off getting a Pixel 4XL. It has a dedicated telephoto zoom that I use to peep at the astronauts on the moon as they dem baff for backyard. Dem sure got big blokos that will be giving alien pusdy trouble Sure, you can still zoom on the 5 and 5a 5G, but it is not the same thing. Or he can gather like 160K and get a Pixel 6a tokunbo. Or better still he can meet Williams1000 with 240K and get a tokunbo Pixel 6 pro. Or even better still, he can wait till the Pixel 8 series drop next month and that will crash prices small. |

Jlow2: You can never win an argument with these people. Don't try, because they will never see the point you are making. Their party is a cancer that renders them all brainless and incapable of feeling shame or guilt or having a conscience. Just ignore them for your sanity. 8 Likes |

Satellite TV Technology / Re: Solar Inverter That Can Power Only 40inches Smart Tv by GabrielYulaw(m): 1:09pm On Sep 10, 2023 |
Herdamorlar: Well, I didn't buy the stuff for entertainment purposes. I bought it to power my laptop because I work as a writer and after that I bought another to power my DC fan because I hate, hate hate and hate feeling hot. Drop me in Iceland and I would feel very much at home. Now, I have an MPS 3 and and MPS 2. The first cost me 210K exclusive of shipping and the latter cost 80K. But that was a while ago and due to inflation, like 20K has been added to the current prices. And oh, the MPS line ranges from the MPS2 to the MPS4 and there's installment payment plan if you wan buy and don't have the full money. To answer your last question, yes, the MPS2 can power your smart TV for some hours. I can't say the exact hours because I don't know how much power your TV consumes. |
