I have a Fixed Deposit account here but I cannot advise u on the interest rates cause malaysia and Nigeria is different but as far as I know, there is a minimum amnount to put in if you were to open a Fixed Deposit account and the interest rates are always higher than the other accounts. The catch is that the bank will tell u that once u put in the money, u are required to not touch the money for a certain period of time in order for the interest rates to be activated, I remembered I had to not touched mine for a year in order to get a certain high interest rates. However if u have decided to touch the money, for sure the rates will drop down. So its best to check with the bank the following:- 1) What is the minimum amount to open a Fixed Deposit Account? 2) What is the interest rates and how long will it take for it to mature? 3) How long must you not touch your account in order for u to get those interest rates Yeap! Thats about it. ![]() |
In economics, inflation is a rise in the general level of prices of goods and services in an economy over a period of time.[1] When the price level rises, each unit of currency buys fewer goods and services; consequently, inflation is also an erosion in the purchasing power of money – a loss of real value in the internal medium of exchange and unit of account in the economy.[2][3] A chief measure of price inflation is the inflation rate, the annualized percentage change in a general price index (normally the Consumer Price Index) over time.[4] Inflation can have positive and negative effects on an economy. Negative effects of inflation include: loss in stability in the real value of money and other monetary items over time; uncertainty about future inflation may discourage investment and saving, and high inflation may lead to shortages of goods if consumers begin hoarding out of concern that prices will increase in the future. Positive effects include a mitigation of economic recessions,[5] and debt relief by reducing the real level of debt. Economists generally agree that high rates of inflation and hyperinflation are caused by an excessive growth of the money supply.[6] Views on which factors determine low to moderate rates of inflation are more varied. Low or moderate inflation may be attributed to fluctuations in real demand for goods and services, or changes in available supplies such as during scarcities, as well as to growth in the money supply. However, the consensus view is that a long sustained period of inflation is caused by money supply growing faster than the rate of economic growth.[7][8] Today, most mainstream economists favor a low steady rate of inflation.[9] Low (as opposed to zero or negative) inflation may reduce the severity of economic recessions by enabling the labor market to adjust more quickly in a downturn, and reduce the risk that a liquidity trap prevents monetary policy from stabilizing the economy.[10] The task of keeping the rate of inflation low and stable is usually given to monetary authorities. Generally, these monetary authorities are the central banks that control the size of the money supply through the setting of interest rates, through open market operations, and through the setting of banking reserve requirements.[11] Wikipedia |

I heard the news about Chinese People are now making Nigerian people as victims. The last news was a guy getting himself bashed and robbed when he just came in the country to do a clean business. Is it safe to study in China? |
Cheap is one thing, Well equipped is another thing. Guys, dont be fooled by all this when choosing a University. Its best if you choose an University which is Recognize by the Education State. I knew this cause when I was applyign for a job, the first thing my employer would ask me is which college I studied in and I the next thing he/she would look through the internet o search if the UNi is recornizable or not. The same thing goes for me applying for another Uni to continue my education and they would check whether the last Uni which I have attended is recognizable or not. So yeah, choose a good quality and recognizable Uni. ![]() |
