[quote author=shelly23 post=35040256]You'll be fine with the naija visa. Just make sure you take your receipts with you cos they'll ask for them at the POE.
Receipts for both baby $ mama or is only that of mama okay? |

Hawttattoo: Hello good morning all... I have a serious issue at hand and I need help. Before I travelled,we agreed (me and hubby) that we should apply for visa for the Kidz when I'm back since this wasn't holiday trip. Now few weeks to hubby's interview, he wants the kids to come as well. Now the question is, 1) is it possible to apply for the kids and get the same date and time for them? 2)Do I need to cancel his own application and start a fresh application with the children included? 3) will they be granted visa base on the fact that they are coming to be with me during childbirth?
Go with option 2. You will be going for childbirth and vacation. Any plan for Nanny when you are labour with Hubby's support? |

Congrats! So happy for U. Why did U choose 6:30am for ur interview? Did u meet with d time? Did it start at exactly at this time 6:30am? Just curious for future purpose |

Phema: If you have forgotten her app number, maybe you should fill another ds 160 for her, book another appointment, but let her go with the others on the day of their interview. Fill another form but add details of other family members dat are travelling with her. U Can book same appointment for them( together) if not done already |

ME: Yes and i show her and include receipts of part payment for both hospital and doctors fees.
VO: Where do you work? can i see your statement of account?

Newmum0615: Dear friends,
Join me in praising the Almighty God!!! My visa was approved this morning. The issue of my hubby's green card didn't come up at all. I made sure I was interviewed by a man. Kept dodging in the queue till a guy was free. Didn't want to deal with all those frowning women I saw there. I will post the interview transcript once I settle down in the office. I am still overwhelmed with joy Congrats dear! |

dere5: Will advice you to book southwest airlines as soon as you have bought your lagos - new york ticket or as soon as you are sure of your travel dates, because they are one of the few if not the only airline i know that allows hand luggage and two 23kg bags free. Dont ever make the mistake of waiting till you get to New york before buying your ticket, because a ticket that might cost you $150 like 3wks before will cost you like $500-$700 on the day of the journey. Make sure you do your homework very well o, because at times after adding the cost of domestic ticket from new york to phoenix, hotel money if you need to spend d night in New York and cab fare from hotel or from Jfk to La guadia Airport, at times after adding all this, your total might just be close to or about what it will cost you to fly direct from Lagos to Phoenix,so think and calculate very well o if coins is an issue here. Thanks so much for this helpful info. I'm only thinking of breaking my journey just to Get a Favourable POE with less stress. What s ur advice on this? |

[quote author=feddy27 post=33075513]My people ! In the spirit of giving back, here's my birth story: I gave birth to my baby boy last week Tuesday at Oakbend and Dr Fagbohun took the delivery himself. I had a very fantastic and amazing labour nurse; Lesley ! God bless this pretty soul. The members of staff were very helpful. Baby was given all the supplies he needed and they brought a celebratory meal
Congrats, freddy! Thank God for His Guidance. Pls where was ur POE & how did U connect ur flight? How much was d total fee u paid? Did u've to contact & Get a letter from oakbend or just Dr F letter was enough proof at ur POE? Thanks for ur prompt response |

nefertitiram: I didn't go to Phoenix, but if you want to take a connecting flight, buy it at least 2 weeks in advance from expedia.com What you may buy for $150 in advance can be $500 at the airport! THIS is very helpful. Thanks so much |

Travel › Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by Gagat: 6:38pm On Apr 24, 2015 |
nefertitiram: Depends on your pocket and stress threshold. It's easier and more expensive to buy from Lagos to Phoenix directly via BA or KLM.
It's cheaper and more stressful to book from Lagos to NY, then take a connecting flight to Phoenix. Most local airlines (except southwestern) will charge you for your check in luggage. Usually in the range of $25 and $35 per bag. Not to talk of the wahala of changing terminals at JFK or changing airports if your local flight is from LGA. PM me if you need assistance So did u book your connecting flight from NY to phoenix while in Naija or at d airport in NY when u got there. Thaanks |
