Buhari was never invited as an elder statesmen

none.
I'm proud of GEJ. This is how you transcend the Presidency of Nigeria and become an Elder of the World. U forgot to mention Abdulsalam championed similar courses. Does it mean Abdulsalam never embezzled public funds? |

Greyworld: All the people claimin this is the true story created their their accounts today.
I think this another organised plan to save the reputation of the school or just one good, patrotic fellow controlin the monikers.
Bottom line is that I believe the First story, the second I DIDN'T read. It's easy to coerce students especially if the field work is a course of 4 or 6 units. You simply threaten everyone with a D and the result is the choir we are reading above. Damage control of reputation! |

d33types: Hello..your statement is akin to saying Toyota hiace buses experience the most accidents...of course they do because they are the most popular transport vehicles. Geology students are the most travelled set of students in school (variably) that's why they're the most exposed.. Sneh.
You people were counting the number somersaults abi..
And certainly no student felt the need to report to the school via the department president or even class rep.. Or they were scared to report despite that they'll have gone for another trip later on?
Besides, state schools don't experience all these?
I swear those (you) youths aren't the leaders of tonrorroww
Back to topic...I laugh at these breed abi brand of students That you're more on the road than others is more reasons to hire better vehicles na. |

Damalex4luv: Nonsense news on front page , may thunder fire the left yansh of the moderator wey put this kind news for front page. It seems geology departments in Nigeria have a thing for risking lives of their students. Back in 2003/2004 during a field work, the bus i was travelling had break failure and it rolled over like 3 times before coming to a stop. Different injuries but no one died. Worst of it? We continued the field work! Funny enough no one remembered or had the guts to inform the school authority. So madam, i think it's becoming a norm with geology departments across federal universities! |

In school.there is a constitutional provision for these.we elected him as president not a minister.ObJ did rubbish and the then senate was his play stool.the game has changed so we see a more robust senate.the best ever for now. Politics › Re: Buhari Must Be Screened If He'll Be The Petroleum Minister - Senators by galadima77(m): 9:41pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
dougivilla: I beg to disagree. Let's not use technicality to throw away constitutionality. If the law stipulates that a minister must be screened by the senate before he assumes office, I do not see why people we pay to uphold our constitution should be supported to break same. What exactly is wrong with asking Muhammadu Buhari to present himself for screening as a minister of the FRN. Nothing me thinks. FYI, Its not ministers they are screening but candidates nomimated to be confirmed |
