I am Igbo. Lionheart is overrated. Nkem Owoh was that movie's saving grace, but even that wasn't enough to totally salvage it. The movie is just meh.

This movie is in the class of calibre, revenge both 2017. Both very realistic no crazy effects, mostly natural, explores human nature at odd times, the battle for survival. Bond/ties. All three get a 7/10rating from me but 'it comes at night' stands out on them two. It's more deep. More twisted. These movies are tagged 'horror' seems it's the new kind of horror not the evil man eating creatures like zombies, vampires, werewolves etc kind, probably an efforts to get more audience but I digress back to main issue why do you feel the movie is not fascinating? The last time I was focus on a movie without any pause was in 2015, watching mad max, and I only watch great movies. That too after staying up all night. Says a lot about this movie, the suspense is top notch. I kept waiting all through for the 'it' to come at night! You and I know the obvious

I want to believe you went through some of the comment here on the movie, so don't come here to form "you don't know wht you are typing" if you've watched phone swap, wedding party, The meeting, you wouldn't come here to type what you feel it's right.... mind you i watched Slumdog millionaire without a subtitle "twice" despite the fact that it's indian... if a movie is interesting, it is interesting... don't come here and type kini.. The movie simply showcased the rich Nigerian culture & values. The story was simple & on point, the cinematography brilliant, the acting, impeccable (Genevieve really cast the best of the best in the industry for this movie). The movie wasn't just entertaining, it was educative as well,as it passed on several subtle messages. I really enjoyed the humor in the Igbo speaking scenes, as it gave me that nostalgic kinda feeling......Once again, a big thumbs up to Genevieve Nnaji for making us proud.
