I was not completely wrong. As at yesterday morning, divers were still being sent in to check the integrity.

I am shocked lo, that people are surprised. Lets face the reality, we as a people are not developing our society as we should, very poor infrastructure, The focus should be on how to make our environment the best for everyone, there is no time to cry victim or to be stuck in the victim mentality. grin grin grin

If they want to be a victim and keep crying like babies until the end of the world let me help you cry better and more, where are the racist insults again

Thank you jare.

Until Africans develop themselves and stop relying on aid from other nations, we won't earn our place in the committee of countries.

It took Japan alot of effort to make the G7. They were once discriminated against by whites. Same goes to South Korea and UAE (which they call sand nigg'ers), but look at how this countries have respectfully earn their place. Americans are now celebrating buying of Kia and Hyundai motors more than their Ford's and Aston Martins. You will hardly find a home in USA , Germany, Australia, Canada e.t.c without an LG or Samsung TV or sound system. UAE is now considered am excellent tourist destination. They even grouped some countries together in Asia and called them the Tigers due to the rate of development in those countries. All these countries were once colonies themselves.

Unlike Africans, they are not begging for aid or looking for reparation that some corrupt pot bellied politicians would eventually loot.

Why is there no developed black only nation on earth? Who made is so?
Just take a look at Nigeria which is supposed to be the beacon of hope for the black race. Ritual killings, armed robbery, corrupt politicians, looters, tribalism, witchcraft, kidnapping, Bandits, cultism, e.t.c are the order of the day cheesy

It appears blacks can't govern themselves. UAE, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore e.t.c were all also colonized and they are developing at a fast pace while the Blacks from Africa to the Carribean keep developing backwards.

The west are not comfortable with reparation or compensation of former colonies. Let them offer apology to the former colonies then.
Honestly, I'm surprised at this development. Anyway, we keep watch as event unfold.
They have been apologizing every now and then and still apologizing till date. But most Government will not want that reparations clause.

If I'm in their shoe I'll also vote no simply because of the reparations. Yes they've admitted that slavery and colonialism was evil but at the time it wasn't a world crime to warrant restitution or settlement

We do not agree with claims made in this resolution that states are required to make REPARATIONS for the slave trade and colonialism, which caused great suffering to many but were not, at that time, violations of international law. Moreover, these claims divert focus from the pressing challenges of tackling contemporary racism and global inequality – which are global challenges affecting all regions. We believe that the most effective way for us all today to respond to the cruelty of the past is to ensure that current and future generations do not forget what happened.
Bolded - Reason it was voted against, but a lot of people hardly read beyond the topic headline.

He is one of the most popular and most experienced Republican senator in Recent times. Probably taking over the leadership of the GOP in the Senate should Mitch McConnell retire.

In Addition, you just showed ignorance on US politics with your last sentence. Perhaps a bipartisan vote of 100-0 looks like a joke to you. Remember Hawley, Paul, Johnson, Cruz e.t.c are extreme MAGA and they supported the sanctions on Russia.

War in Ukraine. Some major events that have happened

Russia warship sunk

Nordstream 1 &2 pipelines damaged

Crimea bridge explosion , part of it sunk. Today.

Germany rail stopped after comms cables were cut off at two points . Today.

Last three events were pure sabotage. First was American Harpoon missile fired at the Russian warship, supposedly got coordinates from the west intelligence.

Interesting that Elon Musk Starlink system is being used by Ukraine troops on the front.
They are complaining it's not working very well , Russia jammers seem to be interfering.
Ukraine and LINDSAY GRAHAM had choice words for Musk the other day when he promoted a solution.

The North Korean leadership has said that its missile tests are carried out in self-defense against direct threats from the US military.
They did not harm the security of neighboring countries and regions.

"Our missile tests are a normal and planned self-defense measure to protect the security of our country and the world in the region from direct threats by the US military," the state-run Korean Central News Agency said.

This week, North Korea conducted six missile launches in 12 days.
