Jumia delivered my Nokia X5 on February 18, few weeks later, the charging port started having issues. I can't plug my charger directly again cos it won't charge. I swear this shit is really frustrating cos the phone will display charging after rolling your cable wire over it but for you to come back and see your phone not even adding a single percent. I begged a friend of mine today who is a photo engineer to help me look into it. He opened the phone and did some little work on the charging port, now it's charging normally again. I think I will order a magnetic cable now so I won't mess up with the charging port again. Please where can I get a magnetic cable aside and it's cheap aside Jumia? I should have placed an order from ali express but i will have to wait for like a month before it could be delivered. Please has anyone noticed the unnecessary ads coming up on his or her own Nokia X5 or x6? Is there any way I could stop these annoying ads from popping up?

2months or so......to avoid such issue don't use the phone when charging and be very careful when inserting the cord.I got the information from Nokia customer agent.

Which phone sir? If is x5 or x6 its hybrid meaning you use one sim with memory card or 2sims without memory card. Study the sim tray!

MTN lte is now working on nokia x6 after March 1st update. I will try glo LTE later to confirm that too

For those of us that got our Nokia X6 from Jumia global (Chinese Version) embrace your selves for charging port problem. Well you can get the replacement part on Jumia global for 1600 or there about. Thank me in advance.

The issue is common among india version probably the global version but it can happen to any version if you use when charging....

5.1 plus is same as x5...same goes to 6.1plus(x6). Same hardware configurations and software(when you update outside China x6 will change to 6.1plus via update) etc... If you buy 6.1plus(Global) is same as x6 regardless of the price. Only thing that is not the same are the LTE bands. No need for argument.March 1st update is out for x6 and 6.1plus...

-Call sensor is not working unless i restart

-Notifications not coming unless i open the app

-App keeps shutting down after been minimised

-Phone keeps retarting after some hours of usage

Back up your file and reset to factory setting(total wipe) Sometimes it is recommended after main update(version update in particular).

well to be candid I doubt if there's issue with the charging port.... It's a type c.. I guess some don't really know how to handle phone not to talk of x5 with a glass both front and back... I've been using mine for more than a month now and I have not noticed any charging port related issue

Charging port problem is real among x5 and x6. Fault starts after 3months of ownership. Nokia are aware of the issue so its real. I chatted with dia agent who suggested that i should handle with care by not using the phone when its charging. All in all handle the charging port with maximum care else it will go bad and you will need to change the sub-board of the phone(x5 and x6 to b specific).

My fear about nokia x5 and x6. I think is common among the new generation Nokia phones(late 2017).I complained to dia International customer agent and i was told not to use the phone when charging and to be careful when inserting and removing the charger from its port. Anyway look for a good tech.guy who will change the sub-board of the phone.goodluck.

Let me explain something, If you buy x6 Chinese version to Nigeria, update of global rom of pie will b sent to the device outside china.Mine is x6(Chinese verison) with international pie rom. Rom has nothing to do will LTE bands. My Chinese version doesn't support all LTE ... I use mifi to connect all my devices

Plse, make sure u buy from a shop. Don't buy online, dats d Chinese version..once it gets bad, it can't be fixed . I bought my 5.1 plus from a shop, 73k. Cos I don't want stories dat may touch dis my precious heart.

How do u know it cant b fixed? 5.1plus nd x5 they are the same. Just don't pray you fall victim of factory error issue because the shop way u buy am go give u stories..and you cant compare what is produced for chinese pple to b better than the so called Global version. If you have money to waste buy Global version..all na same same.

The thing is i'm an average phone user and i use mifi for all my devices. Meaning that the wifi of the phone stays on.I only Browse and whats up chat with the phones as my daily usage...let say the phone is fully charged by 7am with 100% before 12pm battery will be around 70-65% with minimal useage(whats up and light browsing)while my moto z2 play will stay around 90 to 85% (7am to 12pm)on same useage....and camera does not do well in low light condition but gcam software works well(E too dey crash sha)all other things are good.

Alot of people are complaining about charge port issue after 3 to 4 months usage . I'm not sure if the problem is associated with country of production or across production although most of dose who are complaining are from India.I just hope Chinese version will not be affected else that will be a serious problem for x5 nd x6 users in Nigeria. Battery life is not that good compare to my moto z2 play nd camera is very poor in low light condition(Nokia x6). Gcam will do well but crashes when in need of it. If you want upgrade in terms of beautiful design, smoothness and ram management you can pick x6. If you are heavy user,non case user and big screen lover then the phone is not for you.

Poor camera production in low light condition
Battery not good for heavy users
Fragile due to glass back cover(non-case users)
Network bar nd date is so tiny
Warm up sometimes( about 40 degree Celsius)
Pros.
Updates( Pie nd security patches).
Beautiful display(clear under the sun).
Good ram management.
Pure android stock(If you dont like unnecessary application).
Good customers agent chat(They respond well nd fast).
Camera is good outside.
5.8inches and portable ....My personal opinion

You need to check the condition of the following components,
Water pump,
Head gasket(inspect you engine oil if is mixed with water same with coolant).if you can run morning gasket test(google how to check for bad head gasket).
Coolant temperature sensor(parameters test)
Incorrect timing setting
Water tank cap cover,
Bad thermostat (surely it must have bn removed),
Dirty radiator...
