If your car is equipped with 09G gearbox then its Aisin gearbox(Toyota t-4, mobil 3309,Aisin T4)however DSG gearobox uses DSG fluid.Know you gearbox model.

From my few days experience with Volkswagen, Your car might have DTC but will not appear on the cluster. Best is to scan the car to know the issue.there is no way it will not pick up fault code from ECU. If you have carbon buildup issue, your vehicle might have intake manifold valves problem, common issue on FSI engines. as for the cold start misfire scan your car and check the EGR (mechanical gear)

Is better you look for someone else to give you good opinion. I called this guy to ask him some questions about Volkswagen mk5 especially the price of engine and DSG in case of any issue. He got angry saying i should channel my question to person who sold engine to me..I had no intention of buying engine or gearbox..all i wanted was the cost of maintenance of the car and to make him my customer as per i stay in Abuja.Better you consult professional Mechanic(Volkswagen) to give you better advice if is for you to pay little fees. Note: He quoted 25k for fuel pump which i got from someone else at 15k. If you are in Lagos go to itira international market get alot of contact for good and cheaper sparepart.

From my research i think DSG uses VW G 052 162 A2 too. I'm not really sure, yet to see Volkswagen repair manual for MK5 or specific document that stated it. I really appreciate your responses and thank you.
