I recently got an appointment with SAAQ for an Exchange of licence. I would like to know if anyone in the house has gone through this process and if they can share a thing or two about it.

If you are exchanging a Nigerian license, you will have to pass your theory test before you can book for your practical test. You can use this link to practise for your theory test, practise as much as you can. testdeconnaissances.saaq.gouv.qc. ca/en/

For the practical test, those guys wants to make sure you are turning your neck to the point it breaks 😃😃 when doing shoulder check. Make sure not to forget blindspot check when changing lanes or turning left/right (very very important)

Practice parole parking and also spot parking. And very important, make sure your hand/parking brake is engaged before your instructor gets into the car and also after your test.

If you already own a car, you can practice on your test location to be familiar with the road or you can get a tutor to practise with. Goodluck 👍

Yes, when there is no power from grid, the battery never got charged before 7pm because of my usage i. e fridge nd deep frezer(120watts nd 100watts respectively). reason I used Gen to charge the batteries for 2hrs on such occasions.

Also, why dont you change your PWM charge controller to MPPT for more efficient harvesting of sunlight? I am expecting 2 units of 60am MPPT Powmr next month. I intend to use one and sell off the other one at a good price. You can buzz me it you are interested.

I ve not put that to test though, we uaually ve power supply from grid for a whole week untouched. But they do carry out maintanace which might last for 2 to 4days

DURING THOSE DAYS, I USE MY GEN FOR JUST 2HRS BTW 7PM TO 9PM TO CHARGE MY BATTRIES (reason for additional panels).



So far, I think my pwm CC is working fine for me becos I make use of 1 deep freezer and 1 refrigerator which is always ON from 10am to 3pm everyday. 1 55inch tv, home theater nd decoder which is usually ON nd 1 43inch tv nd decoder (only ON wen in bedroom), among other lesser loads.


My batteries has neva gone low with this setup.


MY REASON FOR ASKING OF ADDITIONAL PANELS IS TO ELIMINATE THE 2HRS GENERATOR USAGE WHEN THERE IS NO POWER FROM GRID.

My picture is my current setup (which consist of 150 x6 panels). What I meant was, I am thinking of adding 2 300watts panels to enable faster charging.

I don't do application and from the description, it would have to be done by the people doing the plastering because it must still be workable and not totally set.

It can b done wen totally set, but might not acheive perfect smoothness like the later, UNLESS the wall is well plastered.


My waterstand (plastered same time with main hux but was not screeded at the time, about 2 months ago) was screeded 2 weeks ago along side the fence and we achieved same result.

Of I had seen this earlier, may be I wouldn't have invested about ₦2m on Wall Screed.

I'm particular about cosmetic cracks that the plasterers always blame on plaster sand. Hence, opted for POP.

there is a very very cheap way to achieve dat with less than 50k (depending on the size of your project) and to me its best, becos it does not peel off after sometime like that of top bond nd pop combination

in south here, its called plaster screeding, WHY because, its goes along with your plastering

as soon as the walls is plastered and allowed to dry (to the point if you apply force on it won't spoil the job) you mix few quantity of pop cement with water nd add a little quantity of black cement nd stir properly

use a screeding brush to apply the solution on your plastered walls and smooth with sand paper wen dry


its very beautiful (very smooth nd cellophane like walls)
its the cheapest method you can get
nd it last longer than top bond method which paints usually peels off on most occasions


I used just one bag of pop cement for both inside, outside, and parapet screeding for my 4bedroom bungalow with labour not up to 40k. It was done by those doing the plastering


the attacted fence including the four sides inside fence walls (100 by 50) was done with half bag of pop cement. labour was less than 30k.

My lexus gx460 has a problem oo. Between 80-110 km/hr the steering vibrates a lot especially when I step on the brakes but once I'm no longer in that speed range everything goes back to normal.
I have done wheel balancing at 2 different total filling stations and also changed brake discs and brake pads but problem persists. Please how do I fix this

My is250 had exactly same issue after I changed my four tires.

1st I checked all suspension system, its very much okay

2nd I did allignment nd wheel balance, at first it worked for a day, den d problem persist nd I repeat 2 more times nd got fed up.

lastly, I had to check my car manual for the correct tire psi and I found out I am supposed to use 35psi for the front and 38psi for tge back

I went to a vulcanizer shop nd removed the excess air from my tires since I was using 45 ignorantly

immediately I did dat till this moment (thats over 3 months now). I neva ever experienced the vibration again.

you should check yours too, might be the culpit.

toyota cars are good but it all comes down to choice and maintanace.

finally was chanced 2 weeks ago to take the car to another mechanic to change/ grind valve.

as the valve/top cover was opened, the number one valve tappet was found not set properly (loosened)

after setting, car works well. Scanned again and got cylinder 4 misfire.

the mechanic had to set all four valve timing, and changed all four spark plugs

till this moment, car works perfect.

Kai Bros why you go that far na.....Kai! I hope you returned back to the previous brain box though. I had cylinder 2 misfire on my HL when it came in toks, swapped coils, plugs and injector to confirm that all those are fine. The valve was the culprit, so engine had to be opened to change the valve for cylinder 2. I am not a guru but am close to believe that is the issue you have as well.

Do a lick down test. There might be carbon deposit preventing the valve from lapping well.
