Let me try to make sense of it, right.
He is burdened by his mistakes or sins, as we all can be, so he ask a being for another chance, with this presence by his side, he is confident about a victorious life, and it appears victorious, and it a mystery to people but he knows the white(They don't know the meaning of the white)

Question, what is the meaning of the white, you probably know

After he mentioned that they dont know this white that he knows, he states that "You don't really live this life".

Finally i think i understand what it means, and it seems to make sense now, I just needed to reflect on what it means.

What he is trying to say is that he's not perfect but seeking God's direction in the daily travails of life. And also that life is not guaranteed as it can be taken anytime. He was a bit religious.
