OmoFiditi:Your IQ is really low indeed. I said it from the Go that you don't have sufficient IQ ................and no PhD. Anyone can have PhD in cyberspace. ![]() |
Honestly, after reading so many Igbo opinions on this thread and their persistent focus on the Yorubas and BitterTruth0001's claim that Yorubas are the ones that "arrogate unto itself the mantle of superiority and sophistication", (the former is definitely not true), I am convinced that the real reason many Igbos attack Yorubas is because they see them as their main competition for the premier/prestige tribe in Nigeria. To be the premier/prestige tribe, a tribe would have to be: - Large - Economically Strong - Highly Educated - Productive - Rich and Successful - Cultured and Well-mannered I don't think most Igbos see Hausas, and any other tribe apart from Yorubas, being able to compete with them on all these, hence the attacks and focus on Yorubas in most of the arguments of some Igbos despite the fact that Yorubas have been generally welcoming, tolerant and nice to them. Hausas are far larger than them (and Yorubas) but would fail in all the other traits. Yorubas are better than them in at least 4, if not all 6, of those traits. All other tribes fail at "Large" trait as 65% of Nigerians are one of the 3 major tribes. Honestly, I think i finally get the reason for persistent focus on Yorubas. It is the feeling of those that are the threat to the superiority many Igbos feel they need to have, and that has been documented for over 70 years. They really don't like being second. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_odAy4rVz8 |
OmoFiditi:What state university gave you PhD? The same one that gave Mama Piss a degree? If you indeed have a PhD (which I doubt), Diarisgodoooo! |
OmoFiditi:They are ready to leave the Nigerian contraption? As long as Nigeria gives them all the oil to take with them? Yes, it is indeed ALL OR NOTHING! ![]() And they know 100% it would be NOTHING, hence they are not really trying to leave. So your argument is disproved! |
OmoFiditi:Assumption by whom? Society of Low IQ "I must know your tribe before I can argue your points"? |
Benzigler:Stop this delusion that Nigerians are holding on to Igbos. Even IPOB does not want to leave Nigeria. |
OmoFiditi:First demonstrate your IQ. You already have a bad start. |
OmoFiditi:Do you have the IQ to show me where I said Yorubas are the mouthpiece of other tribes? |
Wahabfuture:Even you IPOB knows their is no hope or future for SE as Biafra, hence why they are making delusional conditions of SS oil must be with Biafra. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-40506251 If they really want to leave Nigeria and form an Igbo nation, they would at least be telling Nigeria that only the SE region will secede to make it more palatable. Who even told these IPOB foooools that Ibibio, Ijaws, Urhobos, Itsekiri etc. would want to be part of Biafra and be under Igbo rule? Stop foooling yourselves! Even IPOB know they are deceiving themselves. |
dauntless15:Well, Mr "Progressive", I guess after your woke brainwash, you cannot deduce there is a difference between the genders. You will soon start telling me rubbish like "gender fluidity" and "there are 150 genders". Lastein, when you realise the biological differences in the genders, you will not see "missesogyny" in him saying he does not like women commentators as the service for his manly sports. Welcome to the real world where certain genders are better for certain work, instead of your delusional woke world of "there is no difference between the genders. The genders are equal" virtue signalling by feminised men. Yes, you don't have the prerequisite IQ to be arguing with me. Best you keep quiet so I don't continue degrading and embarrassing you to the point you become a chicken. |
dauntless15:You are obviously the one mentally handicapped to think misogyny is not liking a service. You are obviously one of the simpletons that have been brainwashed to be "woke" and attempt to virtue signal to feel like if you are "progressive". |
OmoFiditi:Then your IQ might not be sufficient. |
TopBanter:I did not even know/recall that such petition was made. When I was saying 90% would support their leaving in a referendum it was purely based on my guts, reading of social dynamics and how their noise is grating on others. https://dailytrust.com/biafra-northern-protesters-ask-buhari-national-assembly-for-referendum/ Yet, some idiots with "victim-siege mentality" console themselves by saying "Why are you not letting us leave". Most reasonable Igbos I know are happy to be part of Nigeria, proud to fly Nigerian flag, like living in Lagos and know Biafra is not best for their interest in the current circumstances. We see the evidence on the ground. There is nothing, absolutely fcking nothing, special with the way SE governors have ran their states. Even a charlatan like Peter Obi is seen as superstar with his mediocre work as Governor of Anambra. Why are some now deluding themselves that once they have Biafra, they would be the next Singapore? After getting Nnamdi Kanu as President. A mentally-ill man? Another Bokassa in power? ![]() Another thing is that because of the SE individualistic and money-is-everything-and-your-rank culture, they are one of the Nigerian tribes with least team-working capabilities. That would impact on running a country. I swear, they would just be sneaking back into Nigeria for opportunities and would get crude treatment after all their noise and insults to get their own country. I dare say, such illegal immigrants might just be slaughtered in the Core North in anger, so it is SW and SS they would be sneaking to. |
Bigkoko:Why are you so concerned about me mentioning other places? Why so much focus on Yorubas for some of you people? Yet, those same some would be the one claiming Yorubas are envious of them. Simple question: Are Igbos much liked by other Nigerian tribes? Answer! |
TopBanter:I noticed that phrase too. Just choose not to address it because he can twist the narrative of what he meant by that if challenged. My response would have been: No one needs to or owes you any gaddam cherishing and celebration. You are nothing special but you are gaddam free to cherish and celebrate yourselves like everyone else, just don't do it via belittling others to claim superiority. Even the Hausas cherish and celebrate being pioneers and leaders in Islam. You don't see their asses coming to tell Yorubas that they are fake Muslims and we are better than you; even though that is what majority of them think about Yoruba Muslims. |
Bigkoko:There is only ONE tribe, out of more than 150 tribes in Nigeria, that is labelled "Children of Hate" across the regions of Nigeria. Nuff said! |
BitterTruth0001:Stop being disingenous! One tribe is known for being champions at claiming superiority. That is Igbos. One tribe is known for being champions at claiming sophistication. That is Yorubas. One tribe is known for being champions at claiming religious purity. That is Hausas/Fulanis. It is well documented, even academically. There is enough materials on this to show how it has been exactly like this for the last 70 years. Igbos have always exhibited this air of superiority that far back. Yes, Yorubas are silently arrogant and think they are superior, but as long as they are not coming to you or your land to say it, they have had no problem and people prefer them. Igbos say it anywhere and everywhere, including on their host's land. This got them killed in pogroms in 1966 and till date they are the least liked tribe. You need to google "Igbophobia". There is nothing like "Yorubaphobia". You are more likely to find "Yorubanised"! So, yes, it makes more sense to have the Yoruba hidden/silent arrogance! it is more classy! |
Wahabfuture:In a referendum, I can predict most Nigerians would offer to give you Biafra. I can put money on it. Stop deluding yourself that Nigerians are desperate to hold on. The secession of SE does not have negative impact on the average man in Oyo, Jalingo, Warri etc. It is the average Igbo man that it would negatively affect. The lack of allowing Biafra is just typical national land defense and the disregard & dislike the North have for Igbos; not because they love or need them. |
aswani:Very well said! This persistent "victim-siege mentality" is not getting the tribe anywhere and is encouraging some of them to justify being more irritating. If you did a referendum today amongst ordinary Nigerians that "Should Igbos secede?" I would not be shocked if over 90% say "Yes". So this foolish IPOB "You are not letting us leave" is irritating. Most rational Igbos would caution them that this is a case of cutting you dck to spite your wife if they secede. Many would be crossing borders illegally to find work and fortune back in the same Nigeria if they do and they would have no rights and DEFINITELY would be mistreated, all because of the foolishness, arrogance and superiority complex of some delusional members of the tribe. There is enough power at state level for Igbos to show us examples of how great they can be as an independent nation. What they have shown so far is no better than the average Nigeria. So they should park this delusion of "Ndiraldo" if they have Biafra! |
Wahabfuture:Are you saying Igbos are not the least liked tribe in Nigeria? Yes or No. |
Wahabfuture:You must be delusional to think that it affects people's lives negatively if Igbos end up with their own country. The reality is that, with the current lives of Igbos now, they would be the biggest losers if they leave the federation. Leaving the federation is just a matter of national pride by those in power and an intentional continued punishment by the Northern elite. I have heard so many Nigerians from at least 4 tribes that are not Hausa or Yoruba say "they should let the Igbos go". So don't flatter yourself that Nigerians are desperate for Igbos to be in the federation. It would be more of a loss for Igbos who love to find greener pastures outside the high density SE to be told to move to their landlock country and need visa to visit and work in the rest of Nigeria, where they were the least liked tribe on average. Don't wish bad on yourselves with arrogance. Biafra is not great for the entreprenuerial Igbos. It is FAAC supporting most of the SE states. |
Bigkoko:Let me school you on what people with fine brains can do. Apart from special fiat, it is not rocket science to build your own state roads. It is not like if federal roads occupy even 0.000001% of Igboland for there not to be enough space to build your own state road network. So those are all silly excuses! SE states definitely cannot afford interstate rail lines. Very few states in Nigeria can. You can build your own vigilante group network. Just label it "religion enforcers" and let anyone come and argue nonsense with you when they have their own Hisbah. Did Yorubas not build Amotekun? The reason so-called "criminals in the north" would not take an Igbo from the South is because of the issues I am discussing in this thread. This last presidential election was a case of Igbo-lokan but the Igbo brand is so bad across Nigeria, especially in the North, they don't trust the tribe, they find them irritating and arrogant. That is the price for the behaviours affecting your brand that I am talking about on this thread. And don't be foolish with this your victim mentality that is prevalent in the usual SE narratives and be saying it is "they" who are stopping us from getting to Presidency. Igbos had 8 good fcking years to strategise and plan how to get the presidency, what the fck did they do? A real strategist came in and took it from them!!! SE had 8 bloody good years to organise themselves, work with other regions and produce the highest quality candidate possible. Who did the SE present to us to vote for? You know his name? His name is bloody Atiku! Yes, fcking Atiku because we all know only APC and PDP had the political machinery to win Presidential elections in Nigeria. And the SE have made it clear for years that PDP is their own and supported party. You had 8 bloody good years to get a grip in the party and get quality Igbo candidates like Okonjo-Iweala, Soludo, Oby Ezekwensili (not chalartans like Peter Obi) in prime position but you did nothing because, unfortunately for the region, the culture is strongly individualistic. At the PDP (national party of the Igbos) presidential convention, guess what proportion of the Igbo delegates voted for an Igbo candidate. Come on, take a wild guess. You can do it. Okay, let me tell you: Bloody only 10% of SE PDP delegates voted for an Igbo presidential candidate. You will rather blame Yorubas and Hausas than yourselves. The rest of the PDP Igbo delegates probably took money from Atiku and Wike to vote for them; and majority of the Igbo delegates ended up voting for Atiku to be Presidential candidate in an election that should have been Igbo-lokan. Even Peter Obi knew that was what was going to happen, he shockingly avoided contesting with PDP and ran sharply to Labour. Now, as usual, people like you would not see this. You will embrace victimhood, blame others and say "they hate us and they don't want Igbos to transform Nigeria", instead of looking inwards about how your tribe does things. Nah! You are your own worst problems because of your individualistic nature, arrogance, aggressiveness against others, delusions of superiority, get-rich-or-locked-up-trying and lack of strategic foresight & discernment, if one is blunt and truthful. 2023 elections was the easiest time to get a Igbo Presidency. I can guarantee you now that it is unlikely to happen in another 30 years now; and it was SE's fault! Stop this ridiculous and persistent "victim-siege mentality" that fuels and justifies your hate! |
dauntless15:Are you intelligent with such a stupid simp question? Someone can decide they don't like the standard of a service provided compared to what they were used to and could have gotten, why does your brain have to associate it with hate? You just want to show you are a yeye "progressive"? |
Bigkoko:Nigeria is made up of states that are quite independent from federal. Coincidentally, the SE states are (1) one of the two most monoethnically formulated geopolitical regions, (2) are definitely the most monoreligiously formulated geopolitical regions and (3) are definitely the most monoethnically inhabited places today. So what stops these "common, ordinary ambitious man on the street eeking out a living" from moving/staying in the SE and building their pseudo-country under almost 100% Igbo ruler-ship, neighbourhoods and communities? |
BitterTruth0001:There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with a tribe being proud of itself. What is wrong is for a tribe to be known to express its pride by trying to claim superiority over other tribes and known to vocally attacking other tribes publicly. What is worse is to see that this disposition and reputation has been like this for over 70 years, and it is only one tribe that possesses it, out of the over 150 tribes in Nigeria; to the point a pejorative exonym for the tribe now, across Nigeria, is "Children of hate". You don't think that is a problem worth discussions? |
BitterTruth0001:How is that your problem? |
It was a very bloody night indeed. Amongst those killed were the Prime Minister, Sir Tafawa Balewa, the Premier of the Western Region, Chief S.L. Akintola, the Premier of the Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Federal Minister of Finance, Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, Brigadier Zakari Maimalari, Brigadier Samuel Ademulegun, Colonel Ralph Shodeinde, Lt . Colonel James Yakubu Pam, Lt. Colonel Abogo Largema and numerous others. This ridiculous boasting and insulting others in their own lands resulted in the death of over 2m Igbos (in horrible ways), yet the tribe [largely] has not learnt anything and try to change. Till today, this is still being done my significant number of Igbos. The problem is really not other tribes!!! It is time for Igbos to start talking amongst themselves and to each other to improve their behaviours. |
Nice2023:Another retarded chest-beating and boasting. That is a major trait/exhibition of the problem right there! |
Godfullsam:I have read about and seen the friction with Igbos from Hausa, Yoruba, Fulani, Bini, Tiv, Idoma, Ijaw and even gaddam Southeastern Cameroon tribes. Surely the problem is not all the other different and diverse tribes. There is something Igbos are doing wrong! |
Elliot2:Do you have a sensible, at least required threshold-level IQ point to make? |
humilitypays:This is just retarded! ![]() You have absolutely no point to make except make up nonsense from your ass. ![]() |
