Typical ignorant post from an ill-informed. It's obvious you've never been to the SE, let alone heard of the town. Here's a little fact to educate you. The SE is still one of the densely populated regions in Nigeria along with the Lagos/Ibadan and Kano, Kaduna/Abuja axis'.
SE is not one of the densely populated regions in Nigeria. It is the most densely populated region in Nigeria.

Yorubas in Nigeria are probably 36m.

Almost the same population.

Anambra is coming for Ogun and will surpass it by 2030. We are aiming to dust your Lagos by 2050. South Korea overtook Nigeria within 10 years and Singapore hid their really GDP for 15 years, and Anambra is currently using same strategy. I know of a company in Anambra that is paying 500m monthly as tax, only one company. Anambra is under declaring its IGR for a putpose now
Empty, delusional chest-beating.

What do you people actually want?

You call them developers because they invest in other states, then in theirs, you still found something to say.... Wonders
That is a false and insincere narrative you used here! Shows you are bias.

They are called developers because some few chest-beating Igbo people were going around claiming they are the ones that developed other states; not because "they invest in other states".

Like I said earlier. Get a life. You are just locked up in shell of loneliness. Which could lead to mental illness very soon
Loneliness?

Am I the one that is not mentally balanced and think some fiction, useless god, whites have forced his ancestors to accept, will be saving him? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Someone is regurgitating some low IQ shyt and terms like "carnal knowledge" that he has been told and brainwashed with and does not challenge, yet is talking about mental illness. Religion is your mental jail, son.

Nah! What I know is the quality of, and I can gauge, your brain power (IQ level) to belief so intensely in the nonsense fiction you have been fed and brought to you by your superior whites.

I see many of your like in Nigeria. Those who have gladly abandoned the use of their brains and leave everything to some fictional, "all powerful" yeye god that has not done anything in their society, but yet, they still keep relying and depending on this "great" god and advocating "Only him and prayers can do it". Then you are running left and right to gather money for visa to Japa.

Yeye, imaginary, useless god!

slowpoke, the chart includes the many Igbos know for selling Gala in traffic and the Mallams in SW trying to cell cows to the lucrative market.

That is the impact of being economically important in a poor, unstructured country.

What is Group Economics?

The phrase “group economics” refers to a collective of people who pool their finances to reach a common goal that couldn't have been accomplished otherwise.

with all the fancy IGR yet South west has the secind highest poor people after Niger Delta

Dey play with your brain
grin grin grin grin grin grin

Illiterate, let me educate you on how to read statistical figures.

Firstly, "Group Economics" graduate, your diagram is of absolute figures, not percentages.

Absolute figures would be affected by population size. I know they did not teach that in your "Group Economics" classes.

FACT 1: There are more people living in SW than SE.

FACT 2: There are more people who are non-Yorubas living in SW than non-Igbos living in SE.

FACT 3: Majority of poor people would be the hustlers who came for green pastures, to hustle, have not yet found their feet and probably lack a support network.

So, if you had been well-educated when studying "Group Economics" at your state poly, you would have had the brains to know that a more populated region, where there are lots of migrants coming to hustle in foreign lands, would have higher volumes of poor people than places where people are living in their home surroundings; and the non-indigenes would form majority of this poor group.

Who are the poor selling gala in Lagos traffic? What states are they from?

All that said, it does not show how Anambra is keeping money at home, according to your "Group Economics", because "95% of the industries is locally owned".

Anambra is a poorer state than virtually all the states in the SW. Even Edo state is more economically viable.

Limited economic prospects has pushed many young Igbos out of SE to find greener pastures in other parts of Nigeria and even other third world countries like Gabon. No one goes to SE from other tribes to look for greener pastures.
