For me, I get like 5 weeks old turkeys at 1200 to 1300 per one. Hatching the eggs is good too but at that 5 weeks, I have minimized the mortality rate. Day old chicks require so much attention, only a seasoned farmer would understand how to take care of them.
Once I have the 5 weeks old Turkeys, I put them in a place (well ventilated, same place one can keep chickens). I start them on a moderate formula feed, at this stage they don't eat so much.
But honestly, cost of feeding like an average of 50 turkeys in a month is like 25k (bear in mind these are local turkeys). For foreign turkeys, one who is into selling them can keep for 5 months and feed them extensively (cost of feeding average 50 foreign turkeys in a month can be as high as 50k with a slightly different formula feed cos they grow so much and are heavier). That's why one can only rear them for like 4 to 5 months to avoid running into debts (they are just like Broiler chickens)

I am a Turkey Farmer - Local preferably (This is because Foreign turkeys eat a lot just like Broiler Chickens and that is why they cost more). I even sold some turkeys last December.
Permit me to be truthful, Turkey is one of the most difficult livestock to raise but turns out to be profitable at the end. So be prepared for them. Infact, they die if not properly taken care of and also fight a lot (technically when mature, only 5 or 10 can be a in a place at a time)
Let me to go to the rudiments of raising them

Mine healed in like 2 weeks but with constant sitz bath twice a day

Anytime I remember my birth story, I just know it was God at work.
it was one of the most exciting moments of my life. So painless as compared to stories and all that I have read online.
Got to the hospital at 9am in the morning and gave birth at 1pm. I didn't cry or shout, my doctor even thought I had run mad because I was too calm.
The pain I felt was like normal menstrual cramps. Baby came out with ease and I was bold enough to ask the doctor "if that was all". I was expecting more (don't mind me, I had read too many horrible stories).
To expectant mothers, God will make it easy.
Funny enough, my menstruation days was hell, vomiting and all. So having this supernatural delivery still amazes me till date.

Please what can one use for a baby of 8 months with Chicken Pox. Seems to still be in the initial stage. He has been taken to the hospital and the doc prescribed Calamine Lotion and Allergen Syrup.

Thank you. We still give milk (NAN) and breastmilk is from night to early morning before going to Creche

Thank you Ma. It is truly less stress.
Though I pack like 3 different meals when going to Creche. Wake up as early as 5am, cool the family meal and dish for all of us.
So most times, we have Rice and boiled egg, Pap and NAN milk, Amala and ewedu (with egusi and crayfish ) plus Fish, and biscuits.
Whew, too much but that's how we we do it.
PS: I cook noodles too, hope it's safe?
