Lol u want to shift goal post abi

Your money for infrastructure can't be more than your credit facilities for your business community and u want growth

Anambra state is one of the few states in nigeria that's a shining light in every good index of human development
Oga,human development and Infrastructure go hand in hand.theres no rule that says one can't be more than the other.the govt right from 1960 has been dolling out money to businesses,to what end? All the govt needs to do is to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive by providing security, infrastructure, enacting friendly policies, discouraging importationetc.these financial interventions are done on ad hoc basis and are to be repaid sir.

You APC guys know nothing about economics
This is a careless talk just the way obi talks.are you aware that the Lagos Cali road is PPP and will mainly be funded by HITECH? The fg counterpart funding will be spread within our budget for 8 years while the 200 bil naira grant is cash readily available?

Everything is done by quota.
Before Tinubu entered, the SE had no Judge in the SC.. So three (one from each of Ebonyi, Abia & Imo States) balanced the slot. Every Zone should have at least 3 in the SC.

It is usual for their vacancies to be filled at the Appeal Court level. Every State must have at least two judges at the Appeal Court. Whilst we were at it, we lost two SE Appeal Court Judges (one from Enugu and another from Imo), so the slots are been filled according to the States.
I think the appeal court has like 100 judges

A Kano State High Court presided over by Justice Usman Mallam Na’Abba has vacated its earlier order affirming the suspension of Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Recall that one Haladu Gwanjo and Laminu Sani Barguma who claimed to be the Chairman and Secretary of the APC at Ganduje Ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of the state had secured an order suspending Mr Ganduje as the chairman of the party.

Justice Na’Abba however vacated his earlier order upon reading a Motion Ex-Parte together with 27 paragraph affidavit in support and a written address dated April 22, sworn to by one Glory Adah, a litigation secretary in the 4th respondent solicitors law firm.

“And after hearing, Mr. L. O. Oyewo Esq, with A. Falana Esq and J. Essiet Esq counsel’s of the 4th Respondent/Applicant, an order of interim injunction is hereby granted,” he said.

“The Interim injunction order is for staying of the execution of the order of interim injunction contained in the ruling of the court delivered on the April 17, directing parties to maintain status qou ante on April 15 in relation to the suspension of the 4th respondent/applicant from the 1st respondent by the Ganduje Ward Executive Committee pending the hearing and determination of the 4th respondent/applicant Motion on Notice,” the latest order read.

The judge then adjourned to April 30 for hearing.

Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike from Rivers Judicial Council is on the list of priority nominees sent to the Federal Judicial Council Commission.

The President of the Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice M.B Dongban-Mensem has requested the appointment of 22 new Justices to the Court of Appeal, which include the wife of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike from Rivers Judicial Council is on the list of priority nominees sent to the Federal Judicial Council Commission.

This follows the creation of vacancies by the elevation and retirement of some Justices of the Court of Appeal.

SaharaReporters learnt that the Federal Judicial Service Commission at its 92nd Meeting held on March 27, 2024, considered the Judges nominated by judicial officers of superior courts in Nigeria.

Eighty-nine names were forwarded by the President of the Court of Appeal to the Commission, urging the approval of 22 out of the 89 candidates for onward transmission to the National Judicial Council for consideration and appointment as Justices of the Court of Appeal.

SaharaReporters learnt that members of the Federal Judicial Service Commission have advised the National Judicial Council to nominate the following 22 persons as their priority for appointment as Justice of the Court of Appeal.

Justice Olukayode Ariwoola is the head of both the FJSC and the National Judicial Council.

In 2022, Ariwoola attended a dinner held in his honour in Port Harcourt by the Rivers State Government under then-Governor Nyesom Wike.

Ariwoola backed his kinsman and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for his membership of the G5.

The G5 comprised five aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party governors - Wike, then-Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, then-Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and then-Enugu Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

The aggrieved governor called for fairness in the PDP, insisting that the then-National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorcha Ayu, must step down to pave the way for someone from the South to succeed him, since the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, hails from the North.

“That is why we should not be scared to have these men of the integrity group. And I am happy that my own governor is among them because he would try to imitate his friend and in-law because we came here to marry for my governor.

“So, Governor Wike will always threaten that he will call back his sister if my governor fails to play ball. That is why you see him following his Excellency (Wike) because my governor is afraid of his wife being recalled,” he had said.

The nominees on the priority list as obtained by SaharaReporters for North-Central are as follows: Hon. Justice Polycarp Tema Kwahar, Benue; Hon. Justice Ruqayat Oremei Ayoola, Kogi; Hon. Justice Eneche Eleojo, Kogi; Hon. Justice Asma'u Akanbi-Yusuf, Kwara; Hon. Justice Abdullahi Muhammad Liman, Nasarawa; Hon. Justice Abdu Dogo, FCT

Since 2015 Nigerians have had 50% of their wealth whipped out by APC as shown by our GDP and you are here talking that Nigerians have benefited more from APC?

How do too guys say this thing with a straight face

Which infrastructure are you talking about the ones that u borrowed money to increase our recurrent expenditure?

Name one infrastructure APC did that can break even
The second Niger bridge which your people benefit from heavily, loko oweto bridge,keffi-makurd- akwanga road,abj-kad, lag-ibadan road and rail,bodo-bonny road...
Thousands benefited from the traders money and market money schemes, from the covid 19 loan, nirsal loan, anchors borrowers scheme...
Under apc,we started massive rice production.the closing of borders has encouraged thousands of businesses, strengthened agriculture, minimum wage is now 33k and will soon increase any moment.the student loan scheme has been debuted to assist indigent students.local manufacturers and businessmen like innoson,Allen onyema, pro Force said fg is their greatest customer and supporter.see how APC govt encouraged dangote refinery and now bua refinery.

So what is the difference between what you described and state police?
The state police being advocated here in Nigeria is where the state will have one single police for that state being controlled by the governor.itvis better each settlement get theirs to suit their own peculiarities

What exactly is the good thing that has come from APC name one

You want a president who has ultimate power to control police, so that only people from a region would control police?

So that people who refused to go to school controlling police would affect my state bases on their incompetence?

A governor has limited power,

In fact you can still have state Police, controlled by the federal police commission while everyone serve in their state funded by the state government
What is the difference between what you suggested to what I suggested? Is it not limiting the state and fg from controlling the police like in the USA?
APC has liberalized and opened the polity, expanded government.more Nigerians have benefited from APC than in any other govt.apc has almost destroyed Boko Haram, carried out more infrastructural projects than any civilian govt.apc introduced a new electoral system, decentralized and reduced the exclusive list, encouraged massive local content

But we are ripped for federal police? Where tribalism n religious sentiments is used to promote officers leading to the poor performance of the force?

If your state Is not ready for state Police good and fine we are not equal but dont stand in the way of States who wants it

The argument of governors using them to witch hunt is baseless we have seen president, ministers use them to witch hunt... If anything it weakens the already too powerful president which is good
It is better the president alone uses them to witch hunt than for governors to do same.it will be too much for the citizenry to take.eveb the governors have some form of control over the police esp in elections but once they fail in securing their states, they blame it on lack of state policing...

In any case, what we need is community policing or the type of state police that exists in America where each town, settlement or city operates it's own police answerable to the town council led by a mayor and then the state have its own police and the federal have FBI.i think the east has something similar where each town esp anambra has its vigilante service that is answerable to each town union led by the king and the PG.the governor will have little or no control over them except in anambra vigilante service or bakassi boys.i think Nigeria should adopt that method

Tafawa Balewa LGA has 3 major towns, Lere, Bununu, and T/Balewa. Both Lere and Bununu are Muslim majority towns while T/Balewa is a Christian majority. Sayawa, Jarawa, and Fulani are among its major tribes. Overall, there are more Muslims than Christians in the whole of the Local Government. Same thing with Dass, the neighbouring LGA but with Jarawa than other tribes. Both Bindow and Nyako are Fulanis so also Nyako's wife Justice Binta. Suntai too was Fulani, infact his full name was Danbaba Dan-Fulani Suntai from Suntai in Bali LGA of Taraba State. Yaris is Hausa from T/Mafara, Yarima looks Fulani, I'm not sure. But then identifying who is Hausa and who is Fulani especially in the North West is not always easy. There has been an intertribal marriage between the two tribes for centuries. Hausas are typically dark and short while Fulanis are typically tall and fair. This is the general rule but like every general rule there's always an exception.
I thought bogoro and tafawa are Christian dominated areas.there also a lot of Christians in Toro LGA.katsina gov dikko rada looks hausa though I know shema and masari are Fulani just like aliero, bagudu and dakingari.
I am confused about makarfi and sambo.i know badaru and lamido are Fulani while turaki is Hausa....with time, the HAUSAS may swallow fulanis in the north west
