I have to when you contradict yourself.i can agree with you that pdp deserve to win plateau based on some factors but you also have to agree that pdp will lose Edo based on those same factors.you cannot shift the goalpost or play double standard.be consistent

Can’t wait for the useless legacy group to be disgraced and silenced once and for all.

The silent majority will reply with their thumb….

With the way people are rushing to APC, where will the guy see money to work if he mistakenly becomes governor , when all the vultures have now camped in APC.?

They said Asuen has a godfather, can they open their eyes to see the people backing the APC guy? The likes of Kabaka and the overbearing Oshiomole?

Edolites think!
They are thinking that's why they want okpebholo.can asue even win councillorship primaries on his own

1. Charles Idahosa of Edo State

Edoblakky:
Political neophytes will read meanings to this sort of resignation. I remember in 2020, several people including commissioners and aides to Obaseki resigned before election and many thought Obaseki was going to lose. Out of the over 2.5 million registered voters in Edo, less than 500k belonged to any political party. The majority who are not in any party will decide who becomes the governor.
Oga,the indices are different.bavk then,APC was divided and pdp was united.obaseki was going for reelection and shuaibu and wike where with him.what idahosa said is what most people in Edo are saying "the next governor must be a homeboy"

The worst thing that can happen to the people of Edo is to allow the APC to take over the state. Not with the candidate who failed WAEC at 36. They are better off with the PDP. The PDP candidate is more credible.
The APC has nothing to offer. Look at what they have done to the country. It's going to be a double tragedy for the people of Edo to allow the APC snatch and grab Edo State.
Exam is not the true stage of knowledge.okpebholo is a better leader.apc has ruled Edo better than pdp so they will remain with apc

LP Senatorial leader rejects Obaseki’s N50m largesse, defects to APC
…as Okpebholo gets 3 SUVs, 2 Siennas as donations

By Steve Adepoju

The Senatorial leader of the Labour Party in Edo Central Senatorial district of Edo State, Chief Friday Ibhadin (Rtd), has reportedly rejected an offer of N50 million to join the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Instead, he defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was received by the governorship candidate of the APC, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo.

The event, which was held in Udumoza-Uromi, Esan North East, on Sunday, follows a wave of collapses within the Labour Party’s structure across the Local Government Area (LGA) into the APC fold.

Speaking at the event, the leader of the Labour Party in the Ward, Alhaji Usman Ehibor, said they decided to move into the APC because they believe in the capacity of the APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo. He stated that Okpebholo’s activities in Esanland, even before joining partisan politics, were a testimony to his potential to govern effectively. He emphasized that the impact of Okpebholo’s few days at the Senate could already be felt in Esan land.

Chief Friday Ibhadin, the Senatorial leader of the Labour Party who led the entire party structure to the APC, stated that he joined the APC because the party represents justice, peace, and unity. He explained that the decision was influenced by the outcome of the keenly contested primary election and the party’s resolve to address the cries and appeals from the people of Esan for justice, peace, and unity in the state. He announced his decision to join the APC so that they could collectively work for the victory of the APC and Senator Monday Okpebholo in the upcoming elections.

He also took the opportunity to announce that he was donating three jeeps and two Siennas to support the campaign.

Addressing the crowd, Senator Monday Okpebholo welcomed all the defectors to the APC and assured them that the APC would be their home henceforth. He pledged to work for the victory of the party and promised a New Edo where governance would prioritize the people’s interests over the interests of a select few.

He also expressed gratitude to Chief Friday Ibhadin for rejecting the N50 million offer made by the PDP to join their party. He commended Ibhadin for standing firm in his belief in the APC and its vision for the development of Esan Land and Edo State in general.

He set implementation to May 1st.

That means he will kick off payment himself. When Oshiomole increased his own during his tenure, he set implementation to after his left office .
Oshiomole was even owing arrears when he increased it....

So at least for now Obaseki is better than him in this regard....
Apart from that, nothing else is he good at.
