KODACK:Bro, I understand that we are different. In character and actions, we are made to be different. However, I have been an observer of this thread and I have noticed certain things about you, chief of which is your VERY RUDE MANNER OF APPROACH to others. I can understand if we react rudely to others because we were insulted, but for you, its like second nature. Many a time, questions are directed at other monikers like Ugo4u, Sikowitz and sojee (don't know if I got their names right) but you will jump to insult the person who asked questions or who was in a discussion or disagreement with the monikers I named. You may be carrying a toga of "I don't care" but the truth is social media magnifies our true natures. A rude and uncultured person in real life will act like that on social media. Permit me to say that you are very rude and uncultured and I don't know if it was your upbringing or you are using it to hide low self-esteem but bro, this is not the way to relate with people in reality. Social media or not, faceless forum or not, everyone deserves respect and your rude manner of approach is VERY TOXIC. I want you to take this night to think about all I have told you. Being a soldier isn't about being rude. There is a reason officers are called gentlemen (not motor park touts). Will it cost you anything to be polite for just one day? Ugo4u is well admired for his gentle and intelligent approach to issues. Rudeness is not an expression of intelligence or strength. You may need to see a psychologist or a Spiritual Leader because you, my friend have a character defect and it may hinder your progress in life if you don't work on it Good luck at the screening |
Eartquake1:Exactly bro. Someone who has made it clear from the onset that he is interested in Nigeria. Not those fence sitter Ohnokis |

BascoVanVeli:Although I don't agree with most of what he said, I think it's a bit harsh to tag him as worse than local coaches. No him opinion. Tome, both Imams and Salisu are birds of the same feather both tactically and in terms of player selection |
The Nigerian armed forces and their lack of special operators and covert ops units. My thoughts: I have often wondered: Do we really have special forces personnel on the Nigerian Armed Forces? Every serious military should as we are in an age of wars left and right I'm not talking about the pretenders we keep calling special forces soldiers ooo but real special forces soldiers that have undergone harsh training for at least 2 years in various aspects of warfare; both conventional and unconventional suited to specific mission purposes. The US has at least 8 different types of Special operative soldiers in their Special Operations command that can be called up for various missions. E.g. The Delta Force Unit The Navy Seals of which Seal Team Six is the most elite unit of all seal team units. The Green Berets The 75th Ranger Regiment The USAF special forces Paratroopers The Marine Raiders The Marine Force Recon The Night stalkers (Special flight forces) The CIA Special Activities Division (aka CIA Special Operations Group): They are the best of the best and their activities are very very very very very very very top secret. They are made of the best Special forces soldiers selected from the above spec-ops unit and trained again for at least 9 months. Some of them are so good that they are called out of retirement. These are the ones I can remember right off my memory. Trust me, I didn't even need to check the internet for these units again because I have studied and read about them for at least 8yrs (no jokes). Many of these units have a rich history some of them dating back to WW2. Now some of you are bragging here about how those that didn't want to die chickened out and I hear stupid statements like "Khaki work no easy", " they no get liver" and other stupid shit. They prolly realised that the NA doesn't care for its personnel in the battle ground and leaves them with 1950s and 1960s equipment to fight a well funded and internationally backed terrorist group with better equipment and armor. Nobody wants to die for such a military that withholds benefits from the families of the fallen soldiers. Now don't get me wrong, I wasn't one of those who ran away from training. Even with my BS and MS degrees at age 24, I wasn't selected after applying for SSC multiple times at different years. However, I think it was God at work because looking back now, I don't think I can be truly patriotic for a poorly underfunded military like Nigeria's whose generals have since sold their souls to Lucifer (ISWAP) for money. Now back to my little essay: These elite units are highly funded with air support and drones and with the latest weaponry and kits and they aren't owed allowances neither are they secretly buried after they are KIA. In fact, its rare for the US to loose so many Spec ops soldiers in one day like the NA does. This led me to the following conclusions: The Nigerian Military has ill-trained soldiers whose only ability is foolish slogans like "Morale high" and "Kawai". The Nigerian Military has no Spec-Op units. Taking selected men to trained for 6 months in a funny country like Serbia doesn't make them special operators. Average time for Spec-Op training in the US is 2 yrs after which each operator undergoes specialized training ranging from 6months -2 yrs depending on special skills to be learnt (e.g signals and common, Medical, etc). The Nigerian Military is a Joke and has been reduced to Chicken shit no thanks to bad leaders. This raises another question: Does the Nigerian Military give out awards for bravery displayed in the line of duty to soldiers that go above and beyond in the face of enemy fire. This raises the morale of soldiers and their respective units. The awards are doled out posthumously too and the US regularly gives out wards for bravery to both living or dead soldiers. E.g. Congressional Medal of Honor The Distinguished service cross The Navy Cross The Air force cross The Silver star The Bronze star The purple Heart Read this https://themedalofhonor.com/medal-of-honor-recipients Etc But here is a country whose tales of gallantry displayed by soldiers against the terrorist are unknown. Please if you know if such tales, kindly tell them here as it will raise the morale of those going to the battle field. I have now reels out what's been eating me about our military. You guys should feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and constructive criticisms etc. Gos bless Nigeria and good luck to those who have applied and those fighting or going to fight in the North-East. |
BabaIbo:He hardly is selfish. I doubt you really watch football. This same selfishness from Salah cost us the league last season |

Not to discourage you guys but you know that this recruitment is a sham right? They already have their guys and this recruitment is just to save face politically. Just look at DPR recruitment since 2016. Well, its worth a try but please don't invest too much emotions into it. Act like them and just submit your credentials yo fulfill all righteousness and then act like the job isn't yours. That way, the heartbreak is less painful.. Thank God I didn't apply for DPR then . I know many guys lamenting till today whilst some son even start work VOA connect. Its a pity really |
...no way..
