The line u supposedly dial belong to someone and the person did register for NIMC..
since u purchased the line and have been using it. every info on the line register for NIMC belongs to the original owner. now this is where our govt lack foresight. some lines were register for NIMC n maybe the owners are dead or sim stolen but the sims and the owners didn't retrieve the sims and they were sold to another person after few months. The nin on the line still belongs to the original owner..
so u can see where there ill be issues.. a whole lot of issues..

the most important thing is whose name is currently registered on d sim he is presently using.

First, you guys probably respected him too much which makes him feel that way. I have friends in the armed forces, and people I don't even talk to much that are also in the force. Everybody dey mind their business, I no dey bow down for them. We dey relate normal.

Secondly, you shouldn't have let it stay this long. Once a tenant defaults for up to 2 months, serve him an eviction notice. This gives him right to legally stay for up to 6 months after which you have the law's backing to throw him out. If he wants to prove stubborn, there's ways I can deal with people like that both directly and indirectly, ajè, dem no born am well.

I've dealt with an oga in the nigerian prisons just last year, 2019, they were threatening with courts and stuff but we settled out of court. The man doesn't tuck in his shirts in the office just to confirm to you that he's one of heir top shots, talkless of one FRSC Officer.

Just make sure you get the eviction notice first, that would give him 6 months grace, no look him face o! No send am, and don't be the only one involved in the fight. If you were my friend and you brought this kind of issue for us to debate, the man to commot that house in less than a year. aje

i dont get u, lets assume a tenant's rent expires in October 2020, u mean after i give him an eviction notice in December 2020, he wil stil enjoy another 6 months free in d house

If you are a landlord and you try this with a tennant that knows his right (especially some stubborn igboman). Hmm, the wahala you will face. From criminal to civil proceedings. He will even sue you for millions. You will be the one begging to get out of the wahala.
After experiencing such 2wice. 1 stayed in the house and claimed he was going to break the 10 year law where in if you stay without paying rent the property is assumed to be yours. Na so the Tennant, a lawyer for that matter wanted to take own house. I got him kicked out. The walala that followed, I had to run out of town. Lol.
The second locked up the apartment for 2 years. My caretaker got police as witness to open up the place. There where rags etc there. Nna, the very next day this tenant appeared that he had property worth 3m in the apartment and made a huge list. 3m 20 years ago na plenty money. The man sued and we were in court for almost 10 years before the case died! Those 2 happened in imo state.
That was why when same issue came up with a shop here in Lagos, we went to court for 3 years and got judgment before we could open the shop. Learnt the hard way.
