Barcelona and Bayern Munich have agreed a deal for Philippe Coutinho , according to a report from ESPN Brazil. Coutinho will join Bayern on a season-long loan, and the report does not mention an option to buy although that could be a part of it if the deal is made official. Bayern’s interest in Coutinho started earlier this week and it the condition for it was Barça’s negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar. Coutinho was the main piece of the talks and would go to PSG with Neymar returning to Camp Nou, but if the deal didn’t work out then the German champions would act quickly. That appears to be the case now, and if Coutinho does join Bayern then it’d be nearly impossible for Barça to get the funds or convince PSG to take Ivan Rakitic to complete a Neymar deal. If the report from ESPN Brazil is accurate, Coutinho to Bayern should be official soon. source--> https://www.barcablaugranes.com/fc-barcelona-transfer-rumors-news/2019/8/16/20808863/barcelona-bayern-munich-agree-deal-philippe-coutinho-transfer-rumors-news

The Fifa experts will make first visit to Nigeria for inspections after the West African nation's bid to host the women's tournament A Fifa inspection team will arrive in Nigeria on Monday to run the rule over facilities for the country’s Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup 2020 hosting rights bid, the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF] confirmed on Sunday. Last month, Goal had exclusively reported that Nigeria is in the race to secure the hosting rights for the women’s youth tournament after they submitted a late bid earlier this year. Christopher Exley, Sara Jane Booth, Kliment Taseski, Rhiannon Ceirwen Martin and Heyral Kaj Jurgen are the Fifa officials expected in Abuja by Nigeria's top football officers on Monday. The Fifa delegation from the headquarters of world football body in Zurich will make a detailed inspection of the hosts' venues, training grounds, hospitals and stadia earmarked for the event. In a statement to the press, NFF spokesman Ademola Olajire said Lagos, Alabama, Benin City and Uyo have been picked as the four host cities for the women's age-grade tournament billed for the summer of 2020. "A five-man inspection team from world football governing body, Fifa will arrive in Lagos on Monday for a four-day inspection of facilities and equipment that Nigeria has put forward to host the 10th Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup championship next year," the statement read. "The inspection team will begin its work in Lagos on Tuesday, with visits to the Onikan Stadium (match venue), St. Nicholas Hospital and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (referral hospitals), Teslim Balogun Stadium, National Stadium Legacy Pitch, Eagle Club, Campos Square and the University of Lagos Sports Centre (training sites) before a courtesy call on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Government House in Alausa. "Joined by NFF President Pinnick, General Secretary Sanusi, Alh. Mainasara Illo (Coordinator of the Bid), Falode, Commissioner of Police Garba Baba (security) and Dr. Paul Onyeudo (medical), the team will fly to Benin City same day to inspect facilities at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium (match venue), Western Boys College and University of Benin Sports Centre (training sites) and the Edo Specialist Hospital and University of Benin Teaching Hospital (referral hospitals) "The contingent will check out the facilities in Asaba and Uyo on Wednesday. In Asaba, the Stephen Keshi Stadium is the proposed match venue, while training sites are Asaba Squash Courts and St. Patrick’s College. The referral hospitals are St. Luke’s Hospital and Asaba General Hospital. "In Uyo, the focus will be on the Godswill Akpabio Stadium (match venue), Ikot Ekpene Stadium and Godswill Akpabio Training Pitch (training sites) and Ibom Specialist Hospital and University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (referral hospitals). "The inspection party will then fly to Abuja on Thursday for a meeting with the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Olusade Adesola (representing the Honourable Minister) and a courtesy call on His Excellency, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (GCON) at the Presidential Villa. Nigeria reached the final in 2010 and 2014 but lost to Germany on both two occasions. No African nation has hosted a Fifa organised women's football tournament - a streak Nigeria will be aiming to break by staging the 10th edition next year.

Everton are reportedly planning to sell attacker
Henry Onyekuru this summer.
According to the Liverpool Echo , the Toffees want
to offload the Nigeria international in this transfer
window. It is understood that they are in talks with French club Monaco about selling the 22-year-old and they could make a small profit on the £7million they paid for him in 2017. Onyekuru has not been granted a work permit to play in the Premier League since he moved to Goodison Park and has had to go out on loan. The pacey winger impressed with 10 goals in 28 games for Anderlecht during his first spell away, while last season he scored 16 times in 44 games for Galatasaray. He's a speed machine that has shown he can torment defences and is clinical in front of goal, but he may be about to test himself in France.

The Federal Road Safety Commission ( FRSC ) says
Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, the construction
company handling rehabilitation work on the
Lagos- Ibadan Expressway , has given notification
of its plan to commence work on the road on Aug
3.
The Ogun Sector Commandant of FRSC , Mr
Clement Oladele, said this in an interview with the
News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN ) in Ota , Ogun, on
Monday
Oladele said the rehabilitation work would cover
Berger end of the road to Ogun River Bridge at
the popular Kara Cattle Market totalling 1. 4
kilometres. ” The rehabilitation work will initially affect 600 metres of the corridor and cause the temporary closure of the inward Lagos traffic to enable the construction company carry out the rehabilitation work on the road . “ The temporary diversion of traffic will transfer the Lagos inbound traffic to the same carriageway conveying traffic outward Lagos , thereby accommodating both the traffic inward and outward Lagos on the same section of the expressway, ” he said. Oladele admonished motorists to note the development and plan their trips by allowing more travelling time in view of the rehabilitation work that would narrow the carriageway and may impair motorisation. The sector commandant further advised the general public, especially motorists, to use alternative corridors like the Epe /Ajah – Ijebu – Ode , Lagos – Ota – Itori – Abeokuta and Ikorodu – Sagamu roads. He implored motorists to endure the inconveniences during the rehabilitation period. “ Motorists are also enjoined to cooperate with the FRSC patrol teams and sister traffic bodies as well as the emergency agencies that will be strategically deployed to control the diverted traffic around the sections . “ Motorists are further reminded to drive within the maximum speed limit of 50 km per hour prescribed by the National Road Traffic Regulations, 2012, as the maximum speed in construction zones. ” They are also enjoined to observe lane discipline and avoid driving against traffic as violators risk impoundment of their vehicles and N50 ,000 traffic fine , ” he said. He also said that motorists observing traffic emergencies could call the FRSC toll free number 122 .
